“No, no, the contract should remain as agreed, one percent, just one percent!” Percival hurriedly interjected.
After finalizing the contract, Rafe promptly kicked Percival out of the office. Before leaving, Percival couldn’t help but apologize repeatedly to Leo and Rosemary.
“Mayor Timothy, thank you so much. You’ve really helped me out here,” Rosemary expressed her gratitude to Ronald while holding the contract.
“Boss Fanny, that’s not quite right. As a public servant, it’s my duty to serve the people,” Ronald chuckled.
“Mayor Timothy, do you have time now? Why don’t you come and visit our factory?” Rosemary warmly extended an invitation.
“Sure,” Ronald accepted without hesitation.
Leo didn’t want to decline, but considering the time, he wouldn’t make it to pick up Sophia from work. He decided to head home a bit later instead.
Subsequently, the group went to the Leo & Rose Cosmetics production and processing factory. Rosemary had purchased this factory at a high cost to ensure the protection of their trade secrets rather than outsourcing production.
The facilities inside the workshop were all brand new, provided by internationally renowned manufacturers. Rosemary had made it a point to keep the infrastructure up to date, knowing that they aimed to compete with major international brands.
Dressed in sterile clothing, the group toured various workshops, each one immaculate and bright, with precise and seamless operating procedures.
“Not bad at all. I’ve heard from Tom at the Bureau of Industry and Commerce. Your company is a dark horse, having emerged in the cosmetics market in just two to three months, showing great potential to become a major player,” Ronald beamed. “Keep up the good work. I have high hopes for you. You stand a chance at being one of Langstel’s top ten young entrepreneurs this year.”
After the factory tour and bidding farewell to Ronald, Leo and Rosemary made do with a late lunch at a small restaurant outside.
During the meal, Leo noticed Rosemary constantly rubbing her neck and asked, “Is your neck uncomfortable? You’ve been using the computer too much, and it seems like your cervical spine is strained. Also, I can see your complexion hasn’t improved much. How about the medicinal herbs I gave you last time? Have you been using them?”
“I have, but sometimes I get so busy that I forget,” Rosemary sighed helplessly.

At Healnature Clinic, a new female physician had recently joined. She didn’t know Leo, but she recognized Rosemary, who was Rudolph’s granddaughter.
When Leo explained his intentions, she arranged a private room for the two of them in the clinic.
Then the female physician brought some moxa sticks and asked Rosemary, “Miss Fanny, are you sure you want this gentleman to perform moxibustion on you?”

“It’s not dangerous per se, but like acupuncture, it requires undressing,” Leo hesitated for a moment, feeling a bit awkward.
“What?” Rosemary was taken aback and instinctively covered her chest. “Do I have to undress completely?”
“It’s best to, but don’t worry. I’ll cover you with a cloth when the time comes. Of course, if you’re not comfortable with me performing moxibustion, you can ask the female physician from earlier, but her moxibustion might not be as effective as mine.”
Leo hesitated for a moment, feeling somewhatawkward and realizing that he had overlooked the gender difference.
As a doctor, there should be no gender distinction when treating a patient. However, he was concerned that Rosemary might feel uncomfortable. It was similar to how women visiting a gynecologist often preferred a female doctor. After all, no woman would readily accept a male doctor examining her private areas.
