“Just some stones?” Leo raised an eyebrow, walked over, and opened the iron chest. In that instant, Leo’s eyes lit up. “This is… Spiritual Stone!” Leo’s eyes were filled with surprise and astonishment, exclaiming in delight.
As the name suggested, Spiritual Stone was a stone imbued with spiritual energy. A crucial auxiliary item for cultivators, Spiritual Stones contained abundant spiritual energy for direct absorption.
Leo picked up a piece of Spiritual Stone and sensed its rich spiritual energy. This unexpected find was a windfall for Leo. While the quality of the Spiritual Stones inside the box was low, the quantity was substantial. For Leo at his current stage, it was a considerable stroke of luck.
Leo estimated that by consuming these Spiritual Stones, he could not only solidify his current lower-grade Great Spiritual Master realm but also potentially break through to the intermediate level.
Setting down the Spiritual Stone, Leo’s attention was soon drawn to a jade box. Leo took the jade box, and its surface was engraved with peculiar, ancient-looking patterns. Feeling the unique nature of these patterns, Leo was intrigued, thinking that whatever was inside the jade box must be extraordinary.
With curiosity, Leo opened the jade box, revealing a silver-white talisman inside. This talisman had a mysterious appearance, with a cubic box pattern drawn on its surface.
Subconsciously using Spiritual Power to perceive it, Leo could distinctly sense an indescribable spatial fluctuation.
“This is… a Void Storage Talisman?” Leo’s eyes widened. Void Storage Talisman, as the name implied, was a talisman used to store items without occupying any actual space.
Although Leo knew about this kind of talisman, his current cultivation level couldn’t create it. To craft a Void Storage Talisman, at least the cultivation level of a Spirit Venerable was required.
Moreover, the space constructed by a Void Storage Talisman wasn’t infinite. For instance, at the Spirit Venerable realm, the space created by the talisman would be roughly five or six cubic units.
Leo was thrilled because, with this talisman, he could carry a lot more items when going out in the future.
Closing the jade box, Leo asked Devin Lynd beside him, “Do you know where these luminous white stones and the talisman in this jade box came from?”
Devin Lynd frowned, thinking, and replied, “Those luminous white stones seem to have been here for a long time, and I don’t know where they came from. The talisman in the jade box was obtained in some Secret Realm.”
“Levi Lynd and the elders tried many methods, but none could activate this talisman.”
Ordinary people and martial cultivators couldn’t use this Void Storage Talisman. Only the blood of a cultivator could activate it. In other words, only cultivators could use it.
Pointing at the box in front of him, Leo said, “I want everything in this box.”
Devin Lynd didn’t dare to have any objections and quickly replied, “Certainly, Mr. Bloomer, I’ll help you move it out.”
Leo nodded, feeling quite pleased. Spiritual Stones and a Void Storage Talisman were entirely unexpected gains.
After leaving the treasure trove, guided by Devin Lynd, Leo arrived at the central mansion of the Lynd family.
The servants in the mansion, upon seeing Devin Lynd personally leading Leo, understood that Leo must be an extremely important guest. They bowed and greeted Leo respectfully.
Devin Lynd took Leo to a luxurious bedroom on the top floor of the mansion. Leo pointed to the floor and said, “Place the box on the ground.”
Devin Lynd complied, placing the iron box on the floor. “Now, go and fetch all the medicinal ingredients from the prescription I gave you earlier,” Leo instructed.
Hearing this, Devin Lynd’s face brightened. He respectfully replied, “Certainly.” Once Devin Lynd left, Leo opened the iron box and retrieved the Void Storage Talisman from the jade box.
The appearance of this Void Storage Talisman made Leo realize that long ago, there must have been cultivators like him, and they were likely not few in number. But why had cultivators vanished from the scene?
Could it be because the spiritual energy on Earth was too thin, unsuitable for cultivation?
This silver-white Void Storage Talisman was very soft. Judging from the material, it wasn’t drawn on paper but seemed to be carved with runes on the skin of some kind of animal.
For Leo to use this talisman, it was straightforward. He only needed to drop a drop of his blood on the surface.
Leo pricked the tip of his left index finger, letting a drop of blood fall onto the talisman’s surface. As the blood touched the surface, a faint “buzz” sounded, and the blood was rapidly absorbed by the talisman, like a sponge soaking up water.
A silver-white radiance emanated from the talisman’s surface and quickly dimmed. Leo could now distinctly feel that his consciousness had established a mysterious connection with this Void Storage Talisman.
Subconsciously, Leo closed his eyes slightly. A not-so-large space appeared in Leo’s mind. Leo understood that the space in his mind was the presentation of the space constructed by the Void Storage Talisman in his consciousness.
Leo estimated that it was roughly more than ten cubic units-a decent size.
In the future, he could temporarily store anything he needed in this Void Storage Talisman. Even if he filled this space with more than ten cubic units, the weight would only be that of the talisman itself.
Holding the talisman in his left hand, Leo pointed at the iron box with his right hand and uttered, “Retrieve!”
The iron box, along with the Spiritual Stones inside, vanished in front of Leo.
Leo then placed his backpack and the wooden box containing three beast elemental cores into the Void Storage Talisman.
After about ten minutes, a knock on the door sounded.
Leo said, “Come in.”
The door opened, and Devin Lynd entered, holding a large silver tray with various medicinal herbs for concocting the Essence Boosting Pill.
Devin Lynd approached Leo and respectfully said, “Mr. Bloomer, I’ve brought the medicinal ingredients.”
Leo nodded, saying, “Set it down. You may leave for now. Once the pill is refined, I will have a servant notify you.”
“Understood.” Devin Lynd obediently exited the room. Though he didn’t know how Leo refined pills, he was tactful enough to understand that certain questions should not be asked.
Leo sat cross-legged on the floor, calming his mind, and summoned the Mystical Sky Bagua-Patterned Alchemical Furnace from the Void Storage Talisman.
Under Leo’s controlled manipulation, the Mystical Sky Bagua-Patterned Alchemical Furnace began to enlarge.
