Damien
Okay, I admit. I couldn’t last the night without seeing Clara. I had to come over and feel her in my embrace before the sun comes out.
“Damien! I can’t believe you are here. How did you get here? Was it through the window again?” Clara inquires from me with a bright smile on her face.
“No, I came through the door this time,” I reply.
“You did?” She asks me with wide eyes.
“Yes, I thought I should make a more dignified entrance this time. By the way, nice party you threw down there,” I tell her and her eyes grow twice the normal size.
“You attended the party?” she inquires from me.
“Well, kinda. I mean, I just arrived and the important activities seem to have already ended. I don’t think that counts as attending the party, does it?” I tell her.
“I thought I was hallucinating when I started smelling your scent in the crowd of guests,” she tells me.
“Why? Have you been drinking? “I ask her to confirm the smell of alcohol lingering on her.
“I only had two glasses of wine,” she replies.
“Come here and tell me all about it,” I say while pulling her by the waist. She gives me a giddy smile and throws her head back in giggles.
“Are you lying to me? You seem to have heard quite more than that,” I tell her and she shakes her head innocently.
“Only two, I promise,” she says while wrapping her hands around my neck.
“You look gorgeous tonight, baby,” I tell her and she gives me a shy smile.
“Thank you,” she says and nuzzles her nose against mine.
“I missed you so much,” she tells me.
“I missed you too. That’s why I had to come over and see you,” I tell her and she pecks my cheek.
“Oh! That is so sweet of you,” she says.
I duck my head in her neck and sniff her hair. There is something wrong about her scent. A man’s scent? I immediately look her in the eyes.
“Have you been with somebody?” I ask her. I know I sound ridiculous. There must have been a lot of guests on that party but someone was so close to her that his scent is still on her. I wouldn’t mind if it had been a woman, but a man is bad news.
“What do you mean? I have been with a lot of people downstairs,” she says while looking suspiciously at me.
“There is a man’s scent on you. You must have been really close to him,” I tell her. I know I am sounding really paranoid right now but I don’t give a damn. This smell is making my nose itchy.
“I was just dancing with him. Why does it matter?” she asks me. Hell! Why does that press my buttons? I don’t like any man having his damn hands on my partner. I don’t even like the thought of it.
“I just don’t like his scent being all over you,” I tell her the truth. Instead of cussing me out or arguing with me about it, she puts her hands on my face and looks me in the eyes.
“I can understand how you feel about it. I also wouldn’t like another woman’s scent on you either,” she tells me. I shut my eyes in relief.
“I am glad you see things the way I do, “I tell her and she smiles at me.
I slowly lower my face to hers and brush my lips against hers. She pulls me by my shirt’s collar so that our lips come together in a deep hot kiss. She stands on the tips of her toes so that she can adjust to my height. I think it would have been better if she had kept on her heels.
Her hand creeps up my chest to my neck into my hair. She runs her hand through my hair and pulls at it while moaning into my mouth. I know how much she likes pulling at my hair and messing it up.
She pulls moans again into my mouth making my body come to life and harden immediately. She pulls away from the kiss panting for breath. Her lips are glistening and very enticing. I can’t stop myself from giving her another kiss on those lips.
I pull back from our kiss and look her in the eyes. She chews shyly on her lip caresses my neck. Just as I am about to pull that lip between my teeth, there is a knock at the door.
We both jump at the sound and our eyes widening in shock. Who could it be at this hour bothering us? Isn’t the damn party over yet? Or it could be her father. Shit! I am not in the mood of seeing him right now.
“Clara! Are you in there?” a high pitched female voice comes from the other side of the door.
“Oh, it’s Emily. She’s my best friend. There is nothing to worry about,” she tells me. I immediately let out a heavy breath that I had no idea I was holding.
Clara walks to the door and opens the door. I don’t know whether to hide or stay where I am so I just stay she I am since Clara said there is nothing to worry about.
“I just came up here to inform you that Matt and I are leaving so that_,” a skinny brunette walks into the room while bubbling and her speech is cut short when she sees me standing in the room.
“Wait a minute,” she later says after recovering from her shock. She first looks at me and then at Clara with curious probing eyes. Clara just smiles at her confusion.
The brunette’s eyes go wide and her mouth agape when she realizes what she is seeing.
“Don’t tell me that… Oh my god!” she stammers and covers her mouth to stifle her screams.
“So it’s you? You are Damien?” she asks me with a really shocked look on her face. I just nod at her in response.
“I can’t believe it. So you ended up coming to the party? Thanks to whoever told me to come up here and say goodbye otherwise I would have missed this chance of meeting you,” she says.
Clara just grins at her friends excitement. The girl looks really friendly. Does she know that I am a vampire?
“Whoa! You look so hot and really tall. You are a hunk, Dracula,” she says with a bright smile.
“Thank you,” I tell her and she practically fans herself with her hands. Clara is almost dying of laughter. I think she is enjoying the moment.
So she knows that I am a vampire and she is still this excited. I thought werewolves now run a way at the mention of the word Vampire. Maybe I will be able to make some Werewolf friends from now.
“I have heard a lot of good things about you from Clara,” she tells me. I immediately turn and look at Clara gives me a huge grin.
“Have you now?” I ask her without removing my eyes from Clara.
“Trust me,” she responds.
“Anyway, I would really like to stay for some time and get to know you better, but I am sorry I have to go now. I don’t want to keep Matt waiting for too long,” she says while looking really apologetic.
“It’s okay, Em. You can go ahead,” Clara tells her with a friendly smile. She reaches over to her and engulfs her into a bear hug.
“You take care, dear. Tonight was really fun. Don’t hide that hunk anymore. He is worth the strain of the eyes,” Emily says, while whispering out the last words. A huge grin forms on Emily’s face and her eyes land on mine realizing that I heard the whispers.
“I will try my best to do that,” she tells her.
“Good night, dear,” Emily tells Clara and then waves at me.
“Goodbye, Damien,” she says to me and I just give her a small smile.
When she leaves, the grin on Clara’s face hasn’t reduced at all. These two must really be close.
“You two look pretty close yet really different,” I tell her.
“We have been friends like forever. I can’t even remember my life before I met her. We have grown up together and she is like a sister I never had,” she tells me.
“I see. Is that why you told her about me?” I ask her
“Yes. I couldn’t find the audacity to lie to her,” she replies.
“Did you find the audacity to lie to your father?” I inquire from her.
“I was determined to do it but he didn’t ask me. He was too occupied with attending to his guests to remember that you were supposed to be with me on the party,” she replies.
“That’s good,” I tell her.
“I don’t think he will let it slip just like that. The moment he gets time, I will be answerable,” she says.
“Don’t stress yourself on that. Let that moment take care of its own problems. Right now, I am thinking of peeling you out of that dress,” I tell her and she gives me a shy smile.
“What do you think of my plan?” I ask her.
“That plan sounds nice but you gave me a better offer to me this morning, remember?” she tells me.
“How could I forget that? I am the one who made the offer and I was serious about it. And now that you have talked about it, I have vivid plans of what I am going to do to you,” I tell her while caressing her bare shoulders above her dress and playing with the zipper of her dress. She whimpers and closes her eyes.
“Would you like me to continue to carryout my plans?” I whisper against her neck.
“Yes,” her reply is almost inaudible.
“Are you sure we should do this in your father’s house with those guests still downstairs?” I inquire from her.
“Please,” she begs in response. My whole body rejoices in jubilation.
