Leo had somehow positioned himself in front of Sophia, shielding her. His expression was stern, his gaze sharp, radiating a powerful aura.

Over a dozen thugs behind Mignon swiftly surrounded Leo, pulling out their knives.

Leo picked up a knife from the ground and walked towards the moaning Mignon.
Soon, Mignon felt a foot pressing on his chest.
Looking up, Mignon saw Leo’s ice-cold expression and a knife glinting with cold light.
Leo waved his right hand, and the knife descended towards Mignon’s neck.
Almost instinctively, Mignon let out a scream resembling that of a woman.
Having roamed the Green Spring roads for so long, Mignon, for the first time, vividly felt the terror of death.
After a crisp sound, Mignon slowly opened his eyes, expecting the pain of the knife on his neck.
To his surprise, Leo’s knife hadn’t pierced his neck; instead, it was against his ear, embedded in the cement floor beside his head.
The hard cement floor seemed like soft soil under Leo’s knife, with the entire knife handle exposed, and the blade buried in the cement.
“I spare your life today, for killing you would dirty my hands. Don’t let me see you again, or you’ll die a miserable death!” Leo declared, standing up and heading towards Sophia.
Although Sophia knew Leo could handle this situation, the speed at which he resolved it left her dazed and astonished.
The current Leo had grown powerful beyond her estimation.
“Sophia, let’s get in the car,” Leo said, pulling Sophia’s hand.
Sophia snapped out of her stupor and followed Leo back to the car.
Jessica witnessed everything that happened, and she couldn’t believe how fierce Leo could be.
Jessica was not a magnanimous person but someone who sought revenge for the slightest offense. Since Leo had already settled the matter, not venting her anger would be a disservice to herself.
As Mignon struggled to sit up, Jessica rushed to him, delivering a harsh slap to his face. One slap wasn’t enough for Jessica; she followed it with another, then spat on Mignon.
“You piece of trash, dare to hit me? Don’t let me see you again, or I’ll make you regret it!” Jessica said viciously, kicking Mignon to the ground.
Poor Mignon was left bewildered and dazed after the assault.
Satisfied with her outburst, Jessica returned to the car, letting Martin drive.
As Jessica fastened her seatbelt, she menacingly remarked, “Just a piece of garbage daring to act up in front of me. If I weren’t magnanimous, he’d be a wreck today.”
