Master Jennifer took a key from her person and unlocked the courtyard gate, entering the enchanting garden where flower petals fell like snow. One of the female disciples closed the door behind her.
Beside the hot spring, Master Jennifer’s white gown slid off her body, and her lovely, bare feet dipped into the water.
Even though Leo was sound asleep, his senses remained sharp. When he heard the sound of water, his eyes snapped open.
Due to the irregular shape of the hot spring, Leo happened to be leaning against a corner stone. This allowed him to discreetly peer over the rock’s edge to see who was approaching.
What he saw left Leo dumbfounded. A graceful, slender figure stood serenely in the water. Flowing strands of dark hair spread across the water’s surface, and creamy shoulders were exposed above the water. Delicate, snow-white arms gently caressed the water.
Leo subconsciously swallowed, his eyes fixed on the breathtaking sight before him. “How is there a woman here for a bath?”
Although the woman was facing away from Leo, he could vaguely see her profile. It didn’t take him long to recognize who she was.
Master Jennifer!
Leo’s face shifted, his mind racing. He hadn’t expected Master Jennifer to be bathing at this time. Now, he knew he couldn’t make a sound. He hadn’t seen anything important, but if she noticed him, he’d be in trouble.
Leo found solace in the fact that he was hidden behind the stone at the corner of the hot spring. “Thank goodness I’m concealed here.”
He tried to control his breathing, but his eyes couldn’t help but sneak glances at the figure in front of him. He endured this painful torture for half an hour until Master Jennifer finally rose from the water.
In that moment, Leo might have glimpsed something he shouldn’t have. When he came to his senses, Master Jennifer was already dressed in her white gown.
Leo heaved a sigh of relief when she walked away. “At last, she’s gone.”
“Who’s there!?”
Leo had just relaxed when suddenly Master Jennifer’s voice echoed.
Despite her initial departure, Master Jennifer’s demeanor abruptly changed, and a short sword appeared in her hand. She lightly stepped on the water’s surface, closing the distance in the blink of an eye.
The next moment, she pointed her sword towards the stone where Leo was hiding.
Unfortunate timing, Leo thought wryly. He had been spotted. There was no choice but to face the situation. “Don’t come any closer. It’s me, Leo!”
“Leo?” Master Jennifer’s expression changed dramatically. With a graceful twist, she landed beside the hot spring.
“Here is a place specially designated for female disciples to bathe in the sect. Why are you here? Are you intentionally peeping…” Master Jennifer’s voice trailed off.
Master Jennifer’s words left Leo with mixed feelings. He had only just realized that while the Seven Stars Sword Sect had few female disciples, it didn’t mean there were none.
That’s why there were two separate courtyards for bathing. The first one he saw must have been for male disciples, and the hidden courtyard was for female disciples.
Leo lamented, “How was I supposed to know that the hot springs were separated?”
“Did you see everything just now?” Master Jennifer bit her silver teeth, her gaze turning frigid as she looked at Leo in the hot spring.
“What did I see?” Leo could only play dumb. “I fell asleep in the hot spring and didn’t see a thing.”
“Are you sure you didn’t see anything?” Master Jennifer raised a delicate eyebrow, and a coldness began to gather on her pretty face. She pointed her short sword at Leo.
In Master Jennifer’s eyes, Leo had come to the female disciples’ bathing area and claimed he’d fallen asleep without seeing anything. Who would believe that?
Leo knew he couldn’t fool Master Jennifer, so he reluctantly confessed, “Okay, I admit it. I saw a little…”
“Leo, you filthy pervert! I’m going to kill you!” Master Jennifer’s lovely face had now turned completely icy. She was genuinely embarrassed. At just over twenty years of age and still a young woman, her pure body had been ogled by Leo.
Fuelled by anger, Master Jennifer stepped on the water’s surface, sword in hand, and made another move toward Leo.
“Wait a minute! Let me get dressed!” Panic was evident in Leo’s expression as he swiftly sprang from the hot spring. Like a fish, he swam to the shore to hurriedly put on his clothes.
As Leo emerged from the hot spring, Master Jennifer closed her eyes and retracted her sword. She turned away, waiting for Leo to finish dressing. Then, she snapped, “Seven Stars Flying Sword!”
Shoo! The sword in her hand released a cold streak of light, flying toward Leo.
“What the heck, are you serious!?” Leo quickly summoned his Violet Radiance Dagger, deflecting Master Jennifer’s sword.
With a wave of her hand, Master Jennifer’s sword flew back into her grasp.
Seeing Leo’s innocent expression, Master Jennifer blushed with embarrassment. She gritted her teeth and said, “You, you pervert! I should have never trusted you!”
“I swear, I had no idea this was for female disciples only. I was completely new to this place, and I just wanted a bath.” Leo’s lips twitched as he frantically explained.
“I don’t believe your lies. Even if you’re telling the truth, the fact remains that you saw my body. I won’t let you off the hook today, no matter what!” Master Jennifer’s cheeks flushed with anger as she held her sword.
Leo, knowing he was in the wrong, had no choice. He concentrated his Spiritual Power in his legs and dashed out from the hot spring, flying through the garden.
But Master Jennifer had no intention of letting him escape. She immediately chased after him.
The two figures quickly flew out of the hot spring courtyard, covered in blossoms.
“Is that the sect leader? Is there an attack?” Judy and Stacey, two female disciples who were originally guarding the courtyard’s entrance, saw the two figures exit the courtyard one after the other. They exchanged a glance, and their pretty faces changed.
“Judy, we should go help the sect leader!” Stacey shouted as she drew her sword.
“Wait a minute, isn’t that the Honorary Sect Leader in the front?” Judy’s face looked puzzled.
“Why would the Honorary Sect Leader be here?”
“I don’t know, but let’s follow them.”
In the bamboo forest ahead, Master Jennifer had a cold expression, holding her short sword and sending sword energy through the thickets.
Crack! Several emerald bamboo trees were cut clean through, the cuts as smooth as if they had been sliced with a knife, showing the power of her strikes.
“Master Jennifer, please stop! I swear I didn’t mean to!” Leo managed to dodge a few sword energy attacks and desperately called out.
But Master Jennifer wasn’t buying it. She grit her silver teeth and coldly snorted, “Leo, you, as the Honorary Sect Leader, shamelessly sneaked into the female disciples’ hot spring to peep. I’m going to cleanse the sect of your impurity!”
