Chapter 448 Adding Some Chips

At this moment, the Extensive Martial Arts Training Center was strangely quiet. Leo wore a faint smile on his face as he took out a small pill bottle and poured out a black pill, offering it to the patient. “This is the Vitality Pill. Take it back and soak it in hot water. Your condition will improve.”
The patient quickly sat up and then knelt in front of Leo, expressing his gratitude. “Thank you, Dr. Bloomer. Thank you!”
Leo reached out and helped him up.
After giving the Vitality Pill to the patient, Leo turned and walked toward Hamilton Robert. He fixed him with a sharp gaze and said, “I’ve won. Now, it’s time for your performance.”
Hamilton Robert knew what Leo meant. According to their bet, he had to kneel on the ground and bark like a dog.
“I think you’ve just been lucky to cure this patient. It doesn’t count as your win,” Hamilton Robert said brazenly.
Hamilton Robert’s words made Fabian Alick blush for a moment, but he didn’t say anything.
Hamilton Robert avoided Leo’s gaze and pointed to another patient on the ground. “Today, we brought two patients. You’ve just cured one with your good fortune, which doesn’t count for much. If you can also cure this second patient, I’ll willingly admit defeat.”
Theodore, who stood next to August, had a hot temper and couldn’t help but clench his fists and step forward, sternly saying, “You’re being unfair!”
Theodore’s outburst encouraged others in the Extensive Martial Arts Training Center, and they started to protest as well.
August remained silent, watching it all without intervening. He knew Leo’s medical skills were extraordinary, and no matter how many times they competed, Hamilton Robert was bound to lose.
Jack, on the other hand, was fuming, and he didn’t care if Hamilton Robert was being unfair. He just wanted them to compete once more. At least a tie would be a satisfactory outcome, as he couldn’t bear to lose face.
Regardless of whether Hamilton Robert could win, if they had another round, there might be a chance. So, Jack looked at Fabian Alick and asked, “Mr. Browne, Hamilton Robert is your top disciple. Do you think it’s necessary for them to compete again?”
In Fabian Alick’s opinion, he had lost face, but he saw Leo’s calm demeanor and felt helpless.
He couldn’t allow this waste to win so easily.
After some contemplation, Fabian Alick turned to August and said, “August, in a medical competition, it’s important for both parties to acknowledge each other’s skills. If we decide the outcome in one round, there might be an element of luck involved. I think it’s necessary to have another round. What do you think?”
While he said these words, Fabian Alick, who had been practicing medicine for decades, was well aware that this freeloading son-in-law, whom he had underestimated, possessed incredible medical skills. Diseases like Guillain-Barré syndrome would be challenging for Fabian Alick to cure in such a short time, let alone allow the patient to regain full mobility. Yet this son-in-law, whom he had looked down upon, had accomplished it.
August smiled and said with a playful tone, “Mr. Browne, we all saw what happened earlier. I don’t think there’s a need to continue.”
As August spoke, Leo calmly added, “Mr. Browne, since someone is willing to gamble and unwilling to accept defeat, insisting that I press their faces against the ground, I don’t mind satisfying them. But I need to add a few stakes…”
Leo glanced at Hamilton Robert as he spoke.
Hamilton Robert extended his neck, adopting a bold stance, and challenged, “What stake?”
“In the next round of the competition, whoever loses has to crawl under the winner!” Leo stated firmly, his imposing aura intimidating everyone present.
This declaration shocked everyone. Crawling under someone was a grave humiliation!
For a man, crawling under someone else would likely make them lose face forever.
Hamilton Robert was stunned for a while by Leo’s proposed wager. He felt uneasy, but it was he who refused to accept defeat and had suggested a second round of competition. Now he had put himself in a difficult position.
Hamilton Robert had no choice but to turn to his master, Fabian Alick.
Leo’s gaze also fell upon Fabian Alick, and he continued, “If I win, not only will your disciple crawl under my legs, but you, as his master, will have to do the same. Inadequate teaching reflects on the teacher. Are you up for it?”
Leo’s words enraged Fabian Alick, who threatened, “You arrogant brat! You will pay dearly for your actions!”
Although Fabian Alick had no confidence in winning the next round, he couldn’t afford to back down in terms of his pride.
Leo sneered, “No need to waste your breath. Just tell me, are you willing to accept the challenge? If you don’t, you can simply admit defeat and crawl under like a dog!”
Hamilton Robert clenched his fists so tightly that his fingernails dug into his palm. He glared at Leo, teeth gritted, and said, “You piece of garbage! Were you raised on crap? How dare you be so arrogant in front of me! When you crawl under my legs later, I hope you’ll still be this arrogant!”
A sharp slap from Leo interrupted Hamilton Robert’s rant. He stood frozen for a moment, then charged at Leo, attempting to assault him.
However, before Hamilton Robert could even get close to Leo, he was kicked away with a swift and powerful blow.
Fabian Alick exclaimed, “Leo Bloomer, you dare to use violence!”
Leo turned and stared at Fabian Alick with an intimidating look. “Old man, if you keep babbling, I’ll hit you too!”
Fabian Alick was momentarily taken aback by Leo’s overwhelming aura and unconsciously took two steps back.
After Hamilton Robert got back on his feet, Leo asked coldly, “Do you want to continue the competition, or will you crawl on the ground and bark like a dog? Your choice.”
Holding his stomach, Hamilton Robert knew he couldn’t match Leo’s strength and reluctantly chose the former.
Limping over to the second patient, Hamilton Robert began a thorough examination, carefully inspecting each detail in the hope of defeating Leo.
Leo watched him with interest, waiting for the examination to conclude. When Hamilton Robert was finished, Leo asked with a teasing tone, “Have you examined everything? How is the patient’s condition?”
With confidence, Hamilton Robert replied, “Based on my thorough examination, I can conclude that the patient has food poisoning, and I…”
Hamilton Robert was about to continue, but then he suddenly realized something. “Wait, you’re trying to make me reveal the patient’s symptoms so you can treat them. I won’t fall for it!”
“I must say, you’re a truly bad doctor,” Leo shook his head and sighed softly.
This comment infuriated Hamilton Robert, who yelled at Leo, “Leo Bloomer, screw you! You son of a…”
