Leo returned to the couch and helped Coral sit up. He asked, “How are you feeling? Are you able to walk?”
Coral shook her head. Although she had regained some strength, walking was still difficult.
Suddenly, Coral realized something and called out to Leo, “Leo, go quickly to room 608 on the sixth floor. That’s where my secretary is.”
Leo lifted Coral like a princess and left the Violet Pavilion private room.
Sixth floor, room 608.
Manager Ted, with a big beer belly, looked at Coral’s secretary, who was deeply asleep due to alcohol. He couldn’t help but rub his hands together and lick his lips.
Manager Ted trembled as he removed the secretary’s black-framed glasses, revealing her face, which was even more beautiful.
“Sweetie, sleep tight. I’ll give you a good dream later,” Manager Ted said with eagerness.
He undid his shirt, letting his beer belly hang freely. Manager Ted then took out a previously prepared Indian aphrodisiac from his pocket, prepared a glass of water, and swallowed two pills.
Just as he finished taking the pills, Manager Ted was about to make his move when the room door suddenly swung open.
Startled, he turned his head to see Leo carrying Coral and appearing at the door.
Seeing what was happening inside the room, Leo was momentarily taken aback. He had thought that only Coral’s secretary was in the room.
“Why are you here?” Manager Ted’s face changed drastically, and he felt a chill run down his spine, especially after seeing Leo carrying Coral in his arms.
Leo took a quick look at the secretary, who lay unconscious on the bed, and then turned his gaze to Manager Ted. Immediately, he understood what had happened.
After placing Coral on the bed, Leo wasted no time and delivered a swift kick to Manager Ted’s beer belly.
“Bang!”
Manager Ted’s obese body was launched into the air, crashing onto a wooden table behind.
The table shattered upon impact, and the small bottle of medicine Manager Ted had been holding rolled to the side.
Upon seeing the tiny bottle, Leo’s expression darkened. He picked it up from the floor.
Manager Ted had already been terrified by Leo’s strength and, upon seeing Leo’s actions, he stammered, “What are you going to do?”
“You wanted to take this, right? Well, I’ll feed it to you.” Leo crouched in front of Manager Ted, opened the bottle, grabbed his face, and poured the entire contents into his mouth.
Then, Leo’s hand lifted Manager Ted’s chin and roared, “Swallow it!”
Manager Ted remained still as Leo stood up and placed his foot on Manager Ted’s shin. Leo threatened, “If you don’t swallow it, I’ll break your leg!” Feeling the increasing pain in his shin, Manager Ted forced himself to swallow all the pills in his mouth.
After all the pills were ingested, Leo lifted his foot from Manager Ted’s leg.
With all the drugs now inside him, Manager Ted had a fearful look in his eyes.
With so many pills, the potency must be extremely strong. If they weren’t allowed to take effect, they could explode within him.
But the situation didn’t end there. Leo grabbed Manager Ted by the collar, dragging him out of the room and back into the Violet Pavilion near Antony.
Leo quickly sliced the back of Antony’s neck, rendering him unconscious.
“Mr. William!” Manager Ted cried out in a hurry.
Having taken so many pills, Manager Ted’s body quickly started to react.
Leo didn’t pay any more attention to the two men. He locked the door to the Violet Pavilion private room. What was about to happen inside was definitely not suitable for children.
Up on the sixth floor, Coral had regained enough strength to walk on her own. Leo had used acupuncture to help her secretary sober up and then left Azure Sky Hotel with both of them.
After dropping Coral and her secretary off at home, Leo returned to the arena. Fortunately, the concert hadn’t ended yet, but it was getting close to the finale.
Leo took his seat once more.
After the concert ended, the three of them met at the agreed spot outside the venue.
On the way back, Sophia was still in high spirits, seemingly not yet recovered from the excitement of the concert.
By the time they reached the Cloud Dream Mountain Villa No. 9, it was already 11:30 at night.
As soon as they entered the living room, they saw Jessica sitting on the couch with a stern expression, not watching TV and seemingly deep in thought.
Sophia couldn’t figure out what was bothering her mother. She approached and asked, “Mom, we’re back. It’s so late. Why aren’t you sleeping?”
Jessica huffed and used a somewhat sarcastic tone, saying, “Young lady, you’re aware of the time, but you seem to be getting more and more unlike yourself lately, especially with Leo. At this rate, are you planning not to come back home?”
Sophia, taken aback, responded, “Mom, how can you say that? If I’m coming back late, it’s definitely for a reason. Besides, with Leo by my side, I’ll be safe.”
Jessica retorted, “I’m your mother; I’m just concerned about you! A guy like Leo, you actually expect him to protect you? If you run into danger, I bet he’d be the first to run!”
Sophia had no words. Her mother’s temper seemed to flare up every few days. It seemed like she wasn’t happy unless they argued.
“Mom, don’t create a scene here. Please, go upstairs and rest,” Sophia said, exasperated.
“Why would I rest? I intentionally waited here for you,” Jessica grumbled and then added, “In a few days, my relatives are coming to visit our family, and then you make sure Leo behaves himself in front of them.”
This statement left Sophia puzzled for a moment. She then asked, “Why are they coming for no reason? I know, you must have told them that we’ve moved into the Cloud Dream Mountain Villa and want to show off, right?”
Seeing that Sophia had pierced through this charade, Jessica’s face turned awkward, and she said, “Sweetie, what do you mean by that? Can’t I let my relatives know that I’ve moved into the Cloud Dream Mountain Villa?”
“And besides, is there anything wrong with them knowing that my daughter is so successful?” Jessica said self-righteously.
Sophia was about to retort, but Leo lightly tugged at her sleeve, gesturing that there was no point in arguing with Jessica.
“Sophia, if it’s your mom’s relatives coming, we should naturally welcome them,” Leo smoothed things over.
However, Jessica remained ungrateful and glared at Leo, warning, “Leo, put away your act. When my relatives arrive, it’s best for you to behave yourself, or else don’t blame me for not being polite to you.”
Since the mother-in-law wasn’t respecting him, Leo decided to give her a cold look in return. “Mom, when your relatives come, it’s best for them to behave themselves. Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to throw them out of the Cloud Dream Mountain Villa area.”
