Leo had been keeping a close eye on Black Vixen, and when she made her move, he swiftly tackled Arlene to the ground.
**Bang!**
A gunshot rang out but missed Arlene.
The remaining ten people by the conference table rushed in, joined by Rosemary and her two juniors. The room filled with the sounds of a brawl.
“Grandpa, leave here!” Arlene shouted to Godfery.
Her cry brought Black Vixen’s attention to Godfery. She turned her gun towards him.
A glimmer of silver, and Leo flicked a silver needle toward Black Vixen.
Black Vixen, an entry-level martial cultivator, reacted quickly, dodging Leo’s flying needle.
However, Leo’s needle was merely a feint. His real attack followed.
After a flash of purple light, Black Vixen couldn’t manage a second shot and fell backward.
Leo retracted Purple Radiance and helped Arlene to her feet. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
As she watched Black Vixen lying lifeless on the ground, Arlene’s eyes filled with astonishment. She had only noticed Leo’s right hand moving, and then Black Vixen fell down.
The purple light, Godfery saw, emanated from Leo’s body.
As the purple light passed through Black Vixen’s body, she fell to the ground.
This scene left Godfery, who had seen many extraordinary things, stunned in his tracks.
Godfery had speculated before that Leo had some combating skills, but he could never have imagined that Leo was this formidable. Such abilities were beyond what an ordinary person could possess!
Could Leo be a martial cultivator?
This thought crossed Godfery’s mind.
Soon, Rosemary and her disciples managed to handle Black Vixen’s henchmen.
“Arlene, Mr. Dan, are you both okay?” Rosemary, with blood stains on her, asked.
“Rosemary, we’re fine,” Arlene replied.
Rosemary nodded and approached Black Vixen’s lifeless body, her face displaying a complex expression.
During the fight, she had also noticed a flash of purple light. It was that very purple light that had caused Black Vixen to collapse, lifeless.
She hadn’t seen where the purple light had come from, so she didn’t know it was Leo.
Taking her gaze away from Black Vixen’s body, Rosemary walked up to Godfery, a puzzled look on her face. “Mr. Dan, how did Black Vixen die?”
Godfery was about to respond when Arlene pointed to Leo. “It was him.”
“Him?” Rosemary turned, looking at Leo with disbelief. “What was that purple light just now?”
“It’s called Purple Radiance, my hidden weapon,” Leo replied.
“Purple Radiance? Can I take a closer look?” Rosemary was fascinated by hidden weaponry and couldn’t help but inquire about the purple light that had flashed so quickly.
Leo handed her the Purple Radiance dagger, and she examined it closely. “This dagger is quite unusual, but it couldn’t possibly move at that speed. How did you do it?”
Rosemary was passionate about hidden weapons, and the purple light’s incredible speed had piqued her curiosity.
Leo took back the Purple Radiance dagger and smiled. “Miss Rosemary, that’s my secret, and I can’t tell you.”
“Are you a martial cultivator? No, I don’t sense any martial aura from you.”
Leo didn’t want to explain, so he approached Godfery. “Mr. Dan, is everything alright now?”
“We’re fine. Thank you, Leo!” Godfery expressed his gratitude.
Leo waved his hand. “Since everything is fine, I’ll be on my way. I have to pick up my wife from work.”
With that, Leo left the hall, leaving Arlene and the others with only his departing silhouette.
It was only after Leo disappeared that Arlene couldn’t help but say excitedly, “Grandpa, I always thought Leo was just good at medicine, but I never expected him to be such a fighter!”
“I didn’t think Leo would handle Black Vixen so effortlessly. Initially, I brought him here just in case someone got injured, and he could help with treatment. But now, it seems we owe Leo a great favor.”
“Grandpa, do you think Leo might be a martial cultivator?” Arlene curiously speculated.
Godfery shook his head. “I don’t know. Anyway, let’s not talk about this. Let Arfei and the others come to clean up the scene. Today’s events should not be revealed to anyone.”
Godfery had already made up his mind that he would do everything possible to befriend Leo.
Thinking about how Leo had saved her life when he tackled her to the ground, Arlene’s face turned slightly rosy. She playfully counted on her fingers, “Grandpa, Leo is really amazing. You know, he not only has incredible medical skills and formidable combat abilities but also possesses a pair of expert eyes for appraising treasures. He seems almost superhuman!”
Godfery recalled how Leo had effortlessly revealed the secrets of those four precious items, and indeed, it was impossible for an ordinary person to do that.
Godfery looked at his granddaughter with a smile. “Arlene, since you’re so interested in him, why don’t we try to make Leo your future husband?”
Hearing this, Arlene blushed even more. “Grandpa, you’re joking! Leo is already married, and I would never steal someone else’s husband.”
“In this day and age, why are you more old-fashioned than me? Even if he’s married, he can get a divorce. As long as you want it, I’ll help you win him over,” Godfery teased.
“Grandpa, you’re talking nonsense! I’m ignoring you!” Arlene said with a blush before running off.
Rosemary remained standing in her spot, her mind still on that purple light.
If only her skills in hidden weaponry could reach that level, it would be wonderful…

Leo arrived at the underground parking lot of the Golden Leaf Shopping Plaza to pick up Sophia. Then, he headed home to fetch Jessica and Martin. The four of them went to the Golden Coast Villa area.
The Golden Coast was a recently built upscale villa community, with an average home price around 90 million dollars. In contrast, the Sunshine and Happiness Villas, where they were living now, had an average price of around 40 million dollars.
In other words, one villa here could buy two in the Sunshine and Happiness Villas, with money to spare.
When Leo, Sophia, Jessica, and Martin entered Jeffrey’s villa, there were already several guests in the living room. For Leo, all these faces were unfamiliar.
Jeffrey checked the time and smiled at Martin, “Martin, we agreed on 6 o’clock, but you’re late. You’ll have to drink three extra glasses of wine during dinner!”
