Esmeralda
My eyes flew wide open in surprise and my hand covered my small mouth that wouldn’t stop opening.
How did he know I was Alpha Kade’s mate?
I shifted uncomfortably as his aura caused me to tremble greatly.
His aura screamed so much power, dominance, hatred, anger, pride and other scary things.
Whoever this strange man was, he was up to no good. I could feel it in my bones.
His smirks say it all. They were evil and dark.
And his eyes…they screamed how cruel he was. They didn’t hide how much they hated me.
There was also something sinister about the way he looked at me… with so much disgust as if I had buried myself in a pile of dirt.
He was ferocious, so mean, so evil, even Emerald trembled in my head, despite how unconscious she was.
His evil aura affected her greatly.
Despite being ferocious, he was not as ferocious as Alpha Kade. While Alpha Kade behaved ruthlessly, he still had some good buried deep down in his stony heart.
The strange man was purely evil. Nothing in him was good.
And his evil was annoying, while Kade’s was sexy.
And it was a pity that I had stumbled on his Pack borders. And now, I was kneeling before him with my head bowed slightly.
Not only was I kneeling before him, but I was also thrown into a circle as his Pack members surrounded Selene and me with clubs, arrows, knives and other hunting objects as if we were animals.
I was certain that we had been mistaken for a spy.
And his final pronouncement determined my fate if I would live or die.
The huge man adjusted himself before me, pinning his scary dark eyes into mine. I could tell how much his irate wolf wanted to rip me apart.
The power oozing out of him was enough to make me lay flat on the floor.
As I knelt before him with my head slumped forward, tears gathered in my eyes as I pondered on my unfortunate life.
I had just fled from the frypan into the fire. When I thought I had seen enough in the Blood Moon Pack, I bumped into another Pack.
A Pack where no one knew me, where no one cared about me.
A Pack without mercy.
The scary look on their faces confirmed that they were about to deal with me.
I didn’t know when I started crying.
My life is a series of huge messes.
“Silence!” A terrifying voice thundered. The echo of his powerful voice was felt throughout the open space, silencing every living thing amongst us… almost including my heartbeat.
He reeked of so much power, making it difficult for me to breathe.
Fear clouded me so much that I wasn’t able to look at Selene.
Unlike me, Selene was calm, daring, and brave.
I didn’t know how she managed to look him in the eye without blinking.
“Look into my eyes,” He commanded, pronouncing those words slowly. Even as slowly as he pronounced it, they had some effect on me.
I almost peed my pants.
My heart skipped a beat when his fingers found my chin and he lifted my chin to meet his eyes.
I flinched the moment our eyes came in contact.
I thought I saw a demon in human form staring back at me.
Scars were marred on his face, giving him a scary appearance.
He wore a deep frown that added to his savage look.
I could tell that without those scars plastered on his face, he was a fine man.
But those scars made him look like a savage beast.
“Make her turn around,” He turned to his side to speak with another man.
The other man too reeked of power, but not as the huge man.
While this man was huge, he wasn’t as huge as the savage man.
He had a scar on his nose that almost partitioned it into two.
His looks were threatening and I quickly looked at my feet.
I think he was the Beta while the savage man was the Alpha.
The Beta didn’t waste time grabbing my arm and making me complete a 360-degree before the Alpha and the rest of the hunters.
I felt like a show on display.
“She is a fine thing,” One man muttered, admiring my beauty as his dreamy eyes were lost in my partly exposed body.
The cardigan had slipped off my neck, down to my left shoulder and the swell of my breast was peeking out.
I badly wanted to fix it, but my hands were tied firmly to my back. The ropes bit into my skin and it gave me some bruises.
A glaring look from the Alpha sent the man to his knees as he begged for his life.
“I’m sorry, Alpha, it will never happen again,” He pleaded desperately, “I will never admire her again,”
“Gouge out his eyes,” The Alpha ordered, oozing anger.
Was he just mad because someone stared at me?
This was insane!
The Beta grabbed the man and scooped out his eyes with a spoon-like object.
Horror filled my eyes as I watched that I didn’t know when I threw up close to the Alpha’s feet.
I have never seen anything more horrifying in my life.
My eyes met the man who was jerking on the floor, screaming in pain in a pool of his blood. His eyes were placed next to him.
It was only a matter of time before he gave up the ghost.
Why is this Alpha’s heart so full of evil?
Another punishment could do, maybe whipping, but not pulling out his eyes while he was alive.
I couldn’t imagine the amount of pain he was going through while the rest of them moved on as if he didn’t matter to them at all.
Fear gripped me when I reminded myself of how I stumbled into the Pack.
“Sorry,” I muttered, looking away from my vomit.
My ears rang as if large loud bells were in them.
Disgusted by my behaviour, the Alpha slapped me thrice on my face, almost ruining my hearing for minutes.
A deafening scream erupted from Selene and me as I fell to the ground.
It was like a heavy load was thrown at me.
I sobbed quietly, afraid to let him hear my voice.
I didn’t want him to pluck out my tongue.
He was full of evil surprises.
“Try that again, you will end up like that bastard over there,” He spat on my face while I crinkle my nose as his saliva smelt of strong alcohol.
“To think that the bastard Kade was enjoying this to himself with his new toy,” He gritted. A frown sat on my face when his large hands found my breast, squeezing them lightly.
But I was too scared to do anything. I could barely hear what he said.
The ringing in my ear hasn’t stopped.
His sandpaper hands found my chin again as he lifted his eyes to meet mine. I couldn’t miss the way his eyes switched colours as his wolf fought to take over.
Chills ran down my spine.
Chills of death.
What would he do to me this time?
I maintained my eyes on him, even if it was very difficult. I didn’t want him to gouge out my eyes.
One wrong move from him could end my life since I knew the kind of man he was.
And despite my life being a series of bad luck, I didn’t want to die.
“What are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be in your mate’s Pack?” He queried, boring those cold eyes into my skin.
My skin burned under his intense stare.
How did he know all this?
What would I say?
Lying wasn’t an option since he would sniff out the truth from me in a second and punish me severely.
I dreaded his punishment.
His eyes ran over my face as if studying me, “You ran away. Interesting,” He confirmed, scoffing afterwards.
How did he know I ran away?
Who was this guy?!
A mind reader?
Well, he wasn’t an Alpha if he can’t sense the truth.
“Alpha, I suggest you put her to death. She might be a spy from his Pack and even worse. That is the last thing we want,” The man I figured out to be the Beta spoke, eyeing me with disgust.
Hatred oozed out of him as he stared at me like I was the devil.
“This one is no spy,” The Alpha replied, roaming his monstrous eyes on my body.
Despite being clothed, I felt naked under his intense stare.
It made me feel uncomfortable.
“But how can you tell?” The Beta question, earning a warning growl from the Alpha.
“Kade would never send his mate to us knowing what I will do to her. Anyone, but her,” She replied with his eyes still on me.
I knew he wanted to know the reason I ran.
My heart throbbed as he continued to stare at me. Different thoughts roamed freely in my head.
What would he do to me? What would he do to me?
“I don’t know why you ran away, but when I’m done with you, you will smell like me, not him,” He smirked, leaning away from me.
I lowered my head quickly. I didn’t want him to see how scared I was. He might use it against me.
“Who are you?” I managed to ask.
“Alpha Aphelion, the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack. Kade’s worst nightmare,” He spewed in pride, “Did Kade not tell you about me? Or he was busy fucking your brains out?”
I cringed at his raw words.
Goddess! What have I gotten myself into?
Jade, Amelia and Madam Dora probably think I’m in the human world. They didn’t know I was in hell.
Regret filled me.
Why did I run?
I should have stayed behind. At least, Alpha Kade was better than this monstrous Aphelion guy.
“Take her to my room and chain her to the bed,” He ordered, walking away from me.
“And the other?” The Beta asked.
“Let the servants take care of that one. She belongs there. The other one belongs in my bedroom,”
My heart sank at his words.
I had been many things all my life but not a sex slave.
What have I gotten myself into?!
Tears resumed flowing from my eyes as the Beta dragged me away.
I wish some superhero could vanish before me and help me and Selene escape from the hands of this monster. But this was no fairytale.
This was the fucking reality.
I was now the sex slave of the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack!
My horrifying fate had just begun!
