Chapter 96

Book:MATED TO THE BLOOD ALPHA Published:2024-6-3

Esmeralda
The blazing sun shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows that were cast on the floor. Beneath the huge trees was a woman clad in green robes from head to toe without sparing a bit of her body, except her amber eyes and tiny strands of her blonde hair that peeked beneath her green scarf.
A powerful mysterious woman.
Quietly, she sat ignoring the merciless midday sun that caused her green robes to even shine brighter. Like sparkles under the brightness of the sun.
Suddenly, the wind blew ferociously, sending everything within its reach to fly around. Every Tom, Dick and Harry ran into safety, except the strange woman who sat, humming as if meditating, unbothered by the whirlwind twirling around her.
Slowly, the full moon replaced the sun in the sky, glowing in all its glory as the strange woman rose from where she sat in her majesty.
Eyes on the moon, neck tilted, and hair blew up in the wind, the strange woman let out deafening howls at the moon at several intervals.
Her scarf fell back a little, exposing a few strands of her sleek strawberry-coloured hair peeked out of the scarf while her eyes shone green, Emerald green that didn’t leave the moon before her mouth opened letting out another howl.
“Let me out, Esmeralda!” She bellowed.
My eyes were the first to fly open, followed by my mouth. I let out a loud gasp as I sat up, resting my back at the edge of my bed.
My eyes darted around the room, searching for this strange woman in green as I panted hard before it dawned on me.
It was a fucking dream.
A dream that scared the hell out of me.
I heaved a sigh of relief, partly closing my eyes as my hand held my chest for a while, trying to regulate my harsh breathing.
Something about this dream caused fear to flood my body.
It was so vivid, it was like I was in there.
Why did the woman have a striking resemblance to me?
Why did she have my hair and eyes colour? Why was she clad in the same green robes that Alpha Kade talked about?
Let me out, Esmeralda?
What did she mean by that?
Several questions filled my head, causing my head to throb.
Several questions I couldn’t answer.
Maybe tomorrow when Alpha Kade was back, I would tell him about my dream.
I laid back in bed, turning to my side and closing my eyes. I tried to sleep, but sleep eluded me.
I repeated the process, struggling to clear my head this time for concentration, but sleep vanished from my eyes completely.
Thanks to the strange dream for freaking me out. Now I was going to be up all night and when Alpha Kade returned home from his journey to the Crescent Moon Pack, I would be asleep, unable to satisfy my mate.
Great!
His absence pulled my body into a state of restlessness.
I had grown too attached to him over the months.
It wasn’t my fault. He was the third person that loved me, aside from my mum and Selene.
The third person that loved me for who I was.
An Omega.
I couldn’t wait for him to be back, to have me wrapped in his arms without attending to his Alpha duties.
I wanted his undiluted attention.
I couldn’t wait to explore my sexual fantasies with him.
For a couple of days, I have been doing research about how to satisfy a guy recently and I stumbled upon a novel by Oluwaseun Oyogho that instructs women to suck a guy’s balls dick and nipples to turn him on and drive him crazy.
It’s been crazy how I started practising with a large cucumber since his dick was not the size of a banana.
Jade, Selene and Amelia knew how I went to the garden to pluck a large size of cucumber every day, but none of them knew what I was up to.
Silly me.
I couldn’t wait for us to have mad sex all night.
The thought of him made my core throb in excitement.
I already missed the feeling of being consumed by my orgasm.
I missed all of him.
His overprotectiveness, the way he treats me like a child, his playful side that no one gets to see aside from me, his care…
A part of me disapproved of it while a part of me found it sexy.
I kinda like it when Alpha Kade treats me like a baby. His baby.
I snuggled closer to the pillow, hugging it and wishing it was Alpha Kade.
I was lonely and it was driving me crazy.
Why did he even leave?
Despite telling him to let bygones be bygones, he wouldn’t budge.
He was so bent on making Garry pay for maltreating me.
My confession ignited a rage within him that wouldn’t quench until he was done executing everyone that had a hand in torturing me when I was in the Crescent Moon Pack.
Though I agreed that Karma could be a bitch and it would always come back to hurt you, but deep within me, I couldn’t help this strange feeling.
I felt like he shouldn’t go to the Pack.
Something wasn’t right. I could feel it in my bones.
But until tomorrow. Until his arrival, before I would know if everything went well.
Distance chatters jerked me from where I sat, making me swiftly glance around the room.
Who was talking at this time of the night?
Paying close attention, I could make out Selene’s voice, Vanessa’s loud voice, Amelia’s voice and Jade’s voice.
Since it became an open secret that I was Luna, Vanessa tried to apologize to me for being rude when she didn’t know my status. And for some strange reason, she tried to make friends with Selene.
I was sure those fake apologies and her crocodile tears meant nothing.
And I hated that she wanted to be close to my best friend by all means.
Green snake.
To my surprise, Amelia got better and better as the days went by. Her social life was improving and so was every aspect of her life.
She was no longer the full, half-dead, abandoned, dangerous lonely girl in the North wing.
And for the first time since the incident, She recognized Alpha Kade as her brother.
Her memories were patching together.
Another burst of laughter erupted from a distance, causing me to hiss loudly.
What were they talking about that was very amusing?
But why did I hiss?
Why was I so mad at them for having fun?
For the past few days, my body felt strange.
My temper fluctuated swiftly, and so was my irritation. Things irritated me easily, making me snap.
My hearing got sharper, unlike before, my speed increased rapidly, my sense of smell got stronger and my sight got sharper.
It was so strong that I could see a needle even in pitch darkness.
All of the changes made me a little cranky.
It left me with an uneasy feeling that I couldn’t explain.
I walked lazily to my window, placing my hand on the sill and allowing my eyes to rest on the full moon that hung in the sky.
It was the full moon when wolves connected to the Moon goddess, fuelling their energy and charging them with power.
Werewolves were the strongest during this time.
Faint howls from afar filled my ears.
A strange feeling washed through my body, making me tense.
A lot of things were going on inside of me, a lot of things I couldn’t comprehend.
Before I knew it, I dashed out of my room at a great speed, letting things that come my way crash to the floor while I allowed my legs to carry me wherever they went.
I didn’t care.
It was like a foreign figure took over my body, directing every part of it.
It was like I was not in control of my body, despite struggling for control.
This was strange.
My movement was impeded as pains shot through my joints as they snapped causing me to scream loud, while I fell to the floor, growling like an angry animal.
Fuck!
I think it was happening.
I couldn’t believe it.
I was going to have my first shift!
