“Huh?” It was all Emily could say. It looked like she didn’t understand his question.
“I mean what’s your answer for my proposal about our marriage?” Ethan asked again with a plain face. It looked like he wasn’t bothered at all even if Emily might say ‘No’ for his proposal.
He knew that even if she won’t agree now, later on she will say yes for their marriage.
As for Emily she looked puzzled. She might still have some questions in her heart, about him.
Ethan could say that by looking at her face.
After thinking for a while Emily was ready answer.
“Ummm, if you don’t mind can I tell my answer tomorrow?” Emily asked softly while looking at her nails. She suddenly noticed that she have perfectly shaped nails, which looked good on her fingers.
She didn’t have courage to look at him. She was scared of him.
She was sure that Ethan will kill her right now or he might throw her out of the house. He gave her one day to think yet she was asking for another day.
A small smile appeared in Ethan’s face. She is getting bold asking for another day. She is new Emily, if she was old one that she will not ask for another day because she used to be afraid.
Well Emily looked cute. Ethan indeed choose a cute little girl just like bunny.
Ethan put his perfectly shaped index finger under her chin and raised her chin, making her look at him.
Emily’s beautiful eyes took in the image of most handsome face in the world, Ethan.
When Ethan saw that she is looking at him, he raised his left eyebrow.
“I do mind Emily. If you have any questions then you can ask right away but don’t think that I will give you any more time. I need my answer Emily, right now.” Ethan said while looking at her.
She needed time to talk to Liam about Ethan. He was the one who could answer her questions.
Ethan knew that she wanted to talk to Liam about him and she will ask some questions to him too. He knew his wife too well.
Wife??
Yeah, wife because he knew that she will be his wife.
“Do you think, Liam will be able to answer every question you ask him about me? It will be waste of time to ask him question, it’s about me better ask me. What do you think?” Ethan asked her with a small smile on his face.
Ethan knew that even if Emily will have a talk with Liam yet she will have some questions for him so it’s better to ask him questions rather than Liam.
Why should she waste her breath?
He knew his would-be-wife too well.
Emily eyes were full of surprises, she was shocked. How did he knew that she will talk to Liam? How did he knew what she was having in her heart?
Is he magician?
No.
He surely used black magic on her. I’m sure about it.
“Do you think you can hide anything from me? I can read you very well so please Emily don’t hide or hold back anything from me. If you want to know anything about me then come and ask me. It’s about me so I don’t think anyone will be able to clear your doubts expect me.” Ethan said while looking into her eyes.
And again they were lost in each other’s eyes.
