Ethan’s POV
He saw her passing out in his arms which scared him like hell. He repeated few lines again and again, ‘No, I can’t lose. No, I can’t lose her again, I won’t lose her.’
He immediately took her to the hospital, and told the doctor to admit her. He ordered them to give her ‘THE BEST’ treatment. She was admitted, the doctor told him, “She is very weak and she needs to rest a lot.”
Liam who was standing beside him was seeing Ethan and was worried about him. He has never seen his boss like this, like worried for someone, no, NEVER. He knew the reason why Ethan is so is behaving like this.
Liam got a call, he excused himself to pick the call. Liam came back and gave the phone to Ethan. After hearing few minutes Ethan and Liam went outside the hospital and left with their cars.
‘If it wasn’t for some important business issues in America, I won’t have leave a sight of Emily, even for a second. That bastard was lucky, I wasn’t there with her otherwise I would have make them pay then and there for hurting her.’
‘Although I was not there with her, I had my man with her. I ordered them to see what that bastard, slut and their family will do to my Emily. I got each and every information from my man. My man would have killed them with the one blink of my eyes but won’t that be a small punishment for them. They have to cry and beg with Emily like she did.’
‘I got to know how that bastard slapped her, insult her, dragged her, pulled her hair and forced her to give her kidney to that slut. How her parents shouted at her, slapped her. I got to know about how that slut tried to behave sweet, stabbed herself and blamed my Emily.’
‘Emily was ready to kill herself again. She tried to stab herself with a knife, how helpless she might have feel? When I heard about kidney transplant, it touched my bottom line. She wasn’t ready to give her kidney, they no wait that bastard forced her for that slut.’
‘I went back to hospital and took her with me. I gave them chance to improve their relation with her but what did they do? They broke her even more.’
‘I know my first priority should be Emily and she is, but I had to handle the issues. If Emily was awake she would have ask me to go and handle the situation. After all it was the matter of lives and death, more than of thousand people.’
‘I still remember the first time I saw her. She was, is and will be my light for my darkness. She is my life, if something will happen to her I can’t live. No, no, I can’t let anything happen to her. She is with me now, I won’t allow anyone to hurt her. I will take her pain and I will give my happiness to her. I promise.’
‘I am going crazy, I want to know how did they torture her? What did they do to her? Yesterday when I saw her in her sleep state she was fine but after sometime, I heard some sound of crying. I don’t know my foot automatically went to see her. When I entered the room, my heart stopped beating for a second. Seeing her crying and hiding inside the blanket, broke my heart. She was trembling. I stepped forward and I heard her voice. I froze after hearing her.’
“No, no, don’t come near me. I didn’t do anything, please don’t beat me. I beg you, I beg you please.”
‘Please don’t beat me.’, her words were ringing in my mind. I was not able to move. I was too shocked to see her like this and her words made my heart bleed.’
‘Wait beat her, they used to beat her, and to which extent do they beat her that she is having nightmare.’ She is having nightmare, I need to do something.’
‘I laid on the bed and hugged her. Hah, we were cuddling, I didn’t ask her about marriage and we were cuddling.’
‘She relaxed when I cuddled with her. I was over the mood when I saw her relaxing when I touched her. I was staring at her like a creep. I felt my eyes getting heavy. I gladly welcomed my sleep. We slept with each other, holding in our arms.’
