Dylan’s POV
I dressed up quickly.
“Hmm…” I trailed while checking myself out
No wonder Tessa tries so hard
Look at me… Damn
I turned to the side to further my self-admiration, ignoring the continuous buzzing of my phone
“Look at that ass” I smirked, impressed by myself
“What the hell, Dylan” my wolf frowned
I rolled my eyes then grabbed my car keys and left to school
Finally gonna talk to Avery today
I miss driving her to school

The drive to school was long and boring without Avery
I parked my car but remained in my car
“What an I gonna say to her?” I asked my wolf
“Hey?” He suggested
“After being a dick to her?”
“You can just start with an apology”
“Hmm”
With that suggestion, I got out of the car then strolled to the school’s main door
Soon I took a step in someone bumped into me, sounded to me like she was mumbling curse words
She took a step back, looking up at me with a bored expression
“Avery?” Her name slipped off my tongue
Her expression immediately turned aggressive
I rose an eyebrow not understanding what was going on
She ignored me then walked out, letting our shoulders hit
I stood there, feeling my courage to talk to her die slowly
Is this about me waking her up?
I stepped into the building
No one was in the hall, everyone was having class
Someone must’ve pissed her off in class
A teacher rushed out a few seconds later. She looked angry as hell
I smirked when I saw who it was

Avery and I got to class early
“I heard a we’re getting a new biology teacher” Avery turned to me
I shrugged, not really caring
Biology class will forever be boring, no matter the teacher
Someone walked in minutes later
I didn’t know her so I was guessing she was new
I turned to Avery to read her expression
She looked irritated “I can’t believe the security let her in. Look at what she’s wearing”
I rolled my eyes then turned my attention back to our new, half nude teacher “She looks great” I smiled, enjoying the view
“Of course” she rolled her eyes
“Good day class… My name is Ms. Dobstar” she began the class
“What kinda name is that?” Avery mumbled
“Excuse me Miss? You said something?” Ms. Dobstar turned the class’s attention to Avery
I smirked knowing things were about to get interesting
“You heard me the first time” she frowned
“Stand up” Ms. Dobstar frowned

Avery’s always been such a trouble maker
I grinned enjoying the drama
”Excuse me?” The lady growled

Ms. Dobstar walked up to Avery, attempting to pull her out by her ear but I caught her hand before she could

“I don’t think that’s necessary” I slightly smiled, trying not to be too rude
I just don’t want her touching Avery
She immediately recognized me as the next Beta
“Sorry” she slightly bowed then headed back to the front of the class
“As I said, my name is Ms. Dobstar”
I turned to Avery who was just starring at the lady
I chuckled when I saw how annoyed she looked
She turned her attention to me then smiled
“I’ll get to know each of your names shortly… But I know the red head at the backs name’s gonna be as bad as her character” we heard Ms. Dobstar say
Before I could stop her, Avery spoke up “Ms. Dumpster? You talking? I knew your name would be as bad as your face as soon as I saw you” she spoke up, laughing
The class followed
Ms. Dobstar growled
Not wanting things to get physical, I walked Avery out after laughing for a while

She stopped when she got in front of me “Good day…” She slightly bowed, hiding her bad mood
“What happened to Avery?”
“She barged out of class”
”Why?”
“I don’t know.”
“Hmm” I said then let her leave
Liam would know what pissed her
I walked myself to class
The teacher was shocked to see me
I always skip this class to be with Avery
Liam was surprised as well
I walked up to him, ignoring the stares people passed
I took my sit next to him
“What happened to Avery?” I whispered to Liam as soon as I sat
“She was in a good mood this morning” he shrugged “Cause you called… I guess”
I smiled
“Why’re you asking?” Liam asked
“She just left school… She looked pissed”
“What?!” He frowned
The bell ring for break
Immediately, he got up then ran out
I wanted to follow him but a few people stopped me on my way
“Dude. Yesterday wasn’t cool… I know it’s not my business but still bruh” Kevin shook his head
“Honestly though” Theodore backed him up
”You guys don’t understand” I rubbed my forehead
“No bro… You don’t”
“Your girl-” I didn’t let Kevin complete his statement
“Just call her Tessa” I corrected him
“Okay… Tessa walked up to Avery that morning and started acting bitchy and all… But Avery wasn’t really reacting… Tessa got a bit to rude and shit but Avery didn’t do shit… Tessa started getting a bit physical by holding Avery’s chin. She started telling her shit like she’s her Luna blabla… Then shit got real when she talked crap bout Avery’s mom” Kevin explain
I didn’t say anything after seconds… Still trying to understand what he was saying
When the realization hit me, my hope for Avery’s forgiveness died completely
I took some breathes, trying to calm myself down “She said what about Avery’s mom?”
“She asked if Avery thought you would reject her like Avery’s pathetic mom did”
As soon as I heard that… Guilt took over
My heart ached with fear that Avery would never be able to forgive me for actually taking Tessa’s side
Fuck. This is all Tessa’s-
I growled, letting my wolf take over… I wanted to go for a run but I realized I could to something more satisfying
“Excuse me” I said then walked out on the boys standing in front of me
Headed straight to Tessa’s class
I barged in, letting the door slam the wall
I sighted Tessa immediately… Her hair was in a pony tail… It looked horrible on her though
She was surrounded by a group of girls
“-then he sank his teeth into my neck and boom” she pointed at her neck, completing her story
They all turned to me
“Baby…” Tessa had a nervous smile on
I let out a growl
“Hungry for me already?” She smirked
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
I closed my eyes, breathing slowly, trying my best to calm down to avoid beating her
I opened my eyes when I felt okay
She was already standing in front of me
I noticed a mark on her neck
“What’s that?” I rose an eyebrow
“Our mark” she smiled them twitched a bit, signalling me to play along
I face palmed “I’m not sick enough to do that”
The girls watching giggled, figuring out she was lying
That’s probably the story she completed when I walked in
She tied her hair into a ponytail to show off her fake mark
“Wipe that marker off your neck” I said figuring out it was just a drawing
“Do you know how embarrassing it is to have a mate and not mark her as soon as possible?! It makes your look like a whimp!” She whisper-yelled
“Do you know how embarrassing it is to be called your mate” I rolled my eyes
She smirked “Whatever… I don’t care if they know they truth. As long as I got to see Avery pissed because of me”
I listened, knowing she would explain herself
“That’s right… I told Avery and she got pissed when I showed her… As pathetic as her mom” she laughed
I felt horrible cause I told Tessa everything she knew… I told her cause she was my mate and she had to know everything about me… Though it linked to Avery. I didn’t know she was such a bitch
“I, Dylan Arthur. Rejects you, Tessa. As my mate and Luna” I said plainly
Gasps filled the room
“WHAT?!” she growled “Cause of that bitch?!” She stomped her feet, furiously
Instead of replying. I shifted to my wolf then went for the run I needed. Ignoring her irritating screams of complaints

I got a mind link from my dad as soon as I got to the forest
“How’s it going?” He asked
“Forget about Avery forgiving me dad” I sighed
“What?”
I ignored then continued my run, hoping to bump into a rouge or two… Yeah, I’m looking for a fight
At Least that would try to calm me down
