Nicole woke up the next morning to feel strong arms around her. Her head was on something hard, yet comfortable and slowly rising and falling with a heartbeat.
She lifted her head to discover that it had been on Gabriel’s chest, who was still fast asleep.
Nicole was surprised to find them in such an intimate position.
How did they end up like this?
Nicole couldn’t help but blush, as she thought about last night’s dinner and the current position they are in. It felt like they were a real couple.
She carefully untangled herself from his arms, so as not to wake him up.
She wanted to remain in this position but also desperately needed to empty her bladder. She successfully got out of bed without waking him up and hurried into the bathroom to do her business.
Nicole came out of the bathroom and went back to bed since it was a Saturday. She couldn’t help but stare at Gabriel’s face.
He was incredibly handsome, with his full eyebrows, pointed nose and those eyes, when opened are a distraction for Nicole. She could gaze into his eyes all day and not get tired of those brown orbs.
He looked so peaceful in his sleep. Any woman would feel lucky to have him in their life.
His lips were really beautiful and does wonders when he uses it to kiss.
Nicole couldn’t help her mind from wondering back to last night for the second time.
God help her!
She was falling deeply in love with Gabriel as the days goes by. She can’t help it.
Gabriel slowly started to stir in his sleep, making Nicole to quickly shut her eyes, pretending to be asleep when she felt his arm around her waist.
It seems he was in need of some cuddles all of a sudden. So, she placed her arm on his big, strong one, gently stroking it, as she felt her eyes getting heavy once again .
Nicole woke up for the second time to an empty bed, she was sad about it, but decided against getting used to sleeping in the position she had found them in when she woke up earlier.
She sat up and noticed something on her nightstand. It was a bouquet of red roses and a box of chocolate with a note, which read,
‘Thanks for last night’s dinner. I really enjoyed it.’
Nicole couldn’t help the smile that appeared on her face.
Gabriel is really sweet.
She took out a bar of chocolate from the box and was about placing it in her mouth on her way to the bathroom, when she saw a giant teddy bear in the room.
She squealed in excitement and ran to the teddy, giving it a tight hug.
Why wouldn’t she fall all the more in love with Gabriel.
After cuddling up with the teddy bear, she went into the closet to pick out a dress before going into the bathroom to freshen up.
When she was done in the bathroom, she came out and got dressed in the grey midi dress she picked out, applied some makeup and hurriedly left the room to go find Gabriel.
Nicole went into his study, but couldn’t find him there. She wondered where he could be if not his study. So, she went to the house administrator to ask if he had any idea about Gabriel’s whereabouts.
He told her that Gabriel was presently at the indoor gym. She thanked him before hurriedly running to the gym.
When she got there, she saw Gabriel drinking from his water bottle. His white t-shirt hugged his body, as he was all sweaty.
So this is how he keeps fit.
She hugged him tightly from behind, ignoring his sweatiness, taking Gabriel by surprise.
“Thank you.” She said
Gabriel was surprised to feel Nicole’s small arms around his torso.
He didn’t imagine she would get this excited with the gift he got her.
How did she find out he was here?
Nicole pulled away and walked round, now standing in front of him.
“So, this is what you do during the weekends… you know, I’ve always wondered how you look this fit when all you do is work, work and work.” She said, her eyes taking a tour of the gym.
“How did you know I was here?” he asked
“You wanted to keep it a secret from me? Well, too bad cos I now know your.. little secret.” She replied, ignoring Gabriel’s question.
Gabriel rolled his eyes at her reply, then he remembered her promise.
“You promised, you were going to work out every pound you gained while eating those junk foods.” He said with an evil smirk.
Nicole’s eyes went wide at his statement. She slowly took steps back, but Gabriel took a step forward as she took one step back, the smirk still on his face.
“But, I haven’t gained any extra pound” she nervously replied
“You sure about that?” he asked with a devilish smile.
“I, um, I. Yes I’m sure.” She replied, regretting why she was in a hurry to go look for him. She could’ve patiently waited till he was done with his work out.
Their faces were now only inches apart from sharing a kiss.
“What if I told you, I want you to do a little exercise right now?” Gabriel said.
Nicole could feel his minty breath fanning her face.
She tried to keep a little distance between them by placing her hand on his chest to get him to move away because she was no longer thinking clearly due to his closeness.
“What are you two love birds doing here. I was looking all over for you.” Helen said, startling them from their little moment.
“Your engagement party is tonight and you both are here having fun. You can carry on with your make out sessions later tonight, after the party.” She continued, making Nicole embarrassed.
“Mom, we weren’t doing any of that. You know it.” Gabriel said in defense.
But you were about to kiss. Honey, it makes no difference” she replied, pulling Nicole by the hand.
“Come on, love. Let’s go get you ready.” Helen said, guiding Nicole out of the gym.
Nicole had totally forgotten about the engagement party. She did notice that the maid’s were busy when she woke up, she had no idea it was because of the engagement party.
Now that she was in the living room, did she realize that some changes and decorations had been done. It looked really beautiful, not like the room wasn’t always beautiful, but the decorations gave it a different touch.
“Where are we going?” she asked Helen as she noticed that they were heading for the front door of the mansion.
“We are going to get you some body treatment and a new make over.” Helen excitedly replied.
“I thought we did that yesterday?” Nicole complained.
“This is for your engagement party. You don’t plan on looking like this tonight, do you?”
Nicole shook her head in reply. She didn’t think any make over or hair do she would do by herself will meet up that of the guests they would be expecting, nor will it be good enough for the occasion. So, she decided to let Helen do her thing.
