Upon regaining consciousness, Emma found herself in a cage. She reached out to touch the metallic bars but recoiled when they burned her fingers. There was wolfs bane on it. All the other bad situations she had faced had been beyond control but this one was only due to her foolishness. Emma cursed herself for being so stupid. How could she have believed that someone could go from hating to liking her in a few hours? In what world does that even happen?
“Curse my stupidity,” she muttered “Who’s there?”
The room was large and empty and it did not look like anywhere she had been before. The ceiling and the walls were cream in color while the floor was made of hardwood. Emma started stomping on the wood in order to get the attention of whoever was in the building. She could sense movement around her but couldn’t sniff out the scents.
Sometime later, the door opened and Michelle walked in. by her side was a man that Emma did not wish to see. They were both grinning when they approached her. Her heartbeat skyrocketed as she stared at her worst nightmare.
“Welcome to hell, Emma Greenfield,” Michelle said.
“Guess who was such a coward he had to use a minion to get to me?” Emma taunted Axel.
“Still a fiery little creature. It’s too bad that I will have to put out that fire.”
“Okay, kill me now and get over with it.”
Michelle chuckled. “Did you really think it would be that easy? We’re going to first make you curse the day you met us before we get rid of you forever. A quick death would be too kind for you.”
“Okay, you can now start doing whatever you want.”
A man walked in with a tray of surgical instruments and placed them on the table. Alongside the instruments was a long dagger. There were some powders in plastic cups. In the corner was a fireplace. Next to it were some rusty blades on the floor.
“What are you going to do?” Emma asked, feeling worried. It seemed like this was going to be the most gruesome torture she had ever experienced. Just the thought of it made her body feel weak. Two more men entered the room and opened the cage, before pulling her out. She tried to resist but it was of no use. The men were extremely strong. Emma screamed out loud as she was dragged towards the wall where there was a poll.
“please I’m sorry for what I did,” Emma opted to try to bed, despite knowing it was not going to work since her captors were some of the most merciless people she had ever met. “Please don’t do this, Michelle. If you want, I’ll leave the pack and never come back.”
“I can’t trust you anymore. You said that before and yet here we are. You can never leave Lucius alone. How could you even believe that I could be friends with someone who is sleeping with my husband with no regard for me? You’re so delusional. You think the world revolves around you but today you will learn otherwise.”
“No, please let me go.” Emma begged as tears ran down her eyes. The men tied her to a pillar. When she saw Axel going to the fireplace, she struggled against the restraints but they were so tight she could barely move. The ropes were laced with wolfs bane and they stung more when she moved. Keeping still was still painful but the pain was less.
Emma watched in horror as Axel picked up a blade that had been heating in the fire and brought it towards her.
“Please don’t do it,” she begged but Axel sunk the blade into the upper right side of her chest. Emma screamed out loud as the pain spread all over her body.
“Ahhhh…”
Michelle was laughing and recoding the incident on her phone. “Keep going Axel. She needs more.”
Axel pulled out the blade and grinned at Emma. “How do you like it now? I spent a lot of time in prison because of you. Do you know the kind of room those bastards gave me? It was smile and tiny, barely enough for me to breath in.” he sunk the blade back into the healing wound. “I’m a fuckin’ alpha king and I had to live like a lab rat.”
“I’m sorry for what I did to you. Let me go and I will never bother you ever again. I have learnt my lessons.”
Axel chuckled and walked back to the fire. He put the long blade back in it. When he was done, he went and dipped the edge in one of the powders. Emma gritted her teeth as she waited for what was coming. This time the pain was more intense because of the herbs. Emma screamed out louder as Axel moved the blade in her body. Blood was pouring out faster.
“I feel like grazing that little heart of yours but you might die and we don’t want that.”
Michelle placed her phone down and picked up a scissor from the tray with surgical instruments. She went and stood on Emma’s side. She lifted her hand and touched Emma’s silky hair. “What soft and pretty hair we have here. Axel, what do you think?”
Axel moved closer and smelled it. “Smells good too. Makes me wanna do something else with this beauty. I feel like I’m wasting it.”
Michelle chuckled. “She’s something, isn’t she?”
“Stop talking like I’m not here.”
“And who are you talking to like that, miss?” Michelle grabbed a chunk of Emma’s red hair and yanked it sending pain all over Emma’s head. She cut off the chunk and let it fall. Emma could feel more tears coming when she saw a big chunk of her hair on the floor.
“Just kill me already,” Emma begged.
“This is just the start,” Michelle said, positioning the scissors near Emma’s ears. “I feel like nipping a little skin, right here.”
“Do it,” Axel said. “I love how she screams in pain.”
