Writer’s POV
Anna paced around the room as the thought of what happened between her and Meredith flooding inside her head.
“How dare she challenge me? I picked her up from the dirt and made her who she is. Who does she think she is? If she dares me, i’m gonna do to her what i did to the rest” she grunted angrily.
While Anna was thinking of what do do next, Meredith was also thinking of the next step to take.
“She thought i won’t find out she was responsible for the death of my parents and siblings. Well i’m definitely gonna pay her pack in her own coins” She smiled sheepishly before heading to the Alpha’s Chamber.
“What brings my love to my chamber?” The Alpha asked as he saw Meredith walking in sadly.
“Nothing Alpha king, i just wanna spend some time with my love the Alpha king” she bowed a little.
“But i can tell something is wrong by mere looking in your eyes. Make it my pleasure by telling me what is bothering my love?”
“Nothing, just tired” she pecked him before heading out.
Vanessa’s POV
“Are we gonna stay here forever?”
“Why did you ask, don’t you like it here?” Nathan replied munching his chicken wing.
“Staying in a cave? I don’t i can stay in this cave for another one day. Don’t you have another house like somewhere we can stay that is not a cave?”
“Lemme think… Yes i have another house but, i don’t think you can with the people over there”.
“Why did you say so, are they bad people? I asked cause I’m really tired of meeting bad people in my life.
“You are free to put it anyhow you want but i just wanna let you know you should avoid them as possible as you can” he warned.
“Okay, i got that. When are we leaving?”
“Today, we got to start arranging our things”.
For the few days i got to spend with Nathan, i got to find out how good and kind he is. No matter how i insult or shout at him, he never retaliate back.
He’s always ready to listen and correct my mistakes without nagging at me like my mom always does and i’m starting to like him for that.
“Are you through packing and arranging your things?” He shouted from outside.
“”Give me some minutes and i will be ready” i replied and continue pressing my clothes into my bag.
After arranging our things we were ready to leave.
We came out of the cave the same way we entered without being noticed by those patrolling guards.
We have been walking some hours nonstop and i’m already weak and tired and also hungry but Nathan seems not to be showing any sign of weakness nor hunger as he kept walking without looking back.
I just wish i could be like him in this situation.
“Aren’t you tired and hungry cause i’m not moving any further without eating” I shouted loud enough for him to hear me cause he seems like he’s already forgotten about me.
“Can we just walk a little farther before we eat. Spending any second here is very risky as the guards also patrols to this side.
“Are you serious, what would they be looking for in a place like this?.
“Rogues” As soon as he said that word i was frozen for a second.
I totally forgot there was anything as a rogues cause it’s been very long i saw them.
“Do they still exist?” My lips said even before i could realize it was a very silly question to ask.
“That question is very dumb but i would answer anyway. Rogues exist as long as wolves exist”.
“Thanks for the answer”.
“Would you mind walking a bit fast, you don’t wanna sleep on the road do you?
“Are we still far from our destination?”
“Few hours to go and we will be there. You just have to walk fast cause you can’t keep walking like a snail and expect us to get there on time” he coed.
“With the way you’re sounding, i think we’re gonna spend our night on the road cause i don’t think i can walk for another hour”
“That means you’re gonna find your way to my house as soon as you wake up”.
“What do you mean?”
“I can’t sleep on the road with you, as soon as you slept off i would be gone”.
“Now you sound like a heartless zombie”
“You could have just said a zombie cause there’s nothing as heartless zombie cause they have no heart in the first place” he corrected me proudly.
“You are just a proud peacock”.
Writer’s POV
Crescent Moon Pack
Since the disappearance of Vanessa, Anna has not been herself.
“How many days have you been searching for her without any trace?” She barked at the guards who were assembled and shivering for fear of their heads being cut off by the angry Luna’s sister as they thought her to be.
“we’re sorry for being unable to find her” The head of the guards spoke out.
“Sorry for yourself” Just make sure you bring her to me if you want to avoid my wrath” her voice coed in every corner of the mansion.
Even the guards could feel the anger in her voice as her face was squeezed in anger.
“Go out there and find that b*tch” she roared and walked out of the castle.
Writer’s POV
Silver Moon Pack
Vanessa’s mom laid on the bed weakly as her husband massaged her sore feet.
“Have you heard from my daughter?” she asked weakly.
“Don’t worry Vanessa will come back at the right time”. Carson assured.
“I’m tired of hearing that, i need to see my daughter”. She cried.
“You’re gonna see her when the time is right stop stressing yourself, Vanessa is fine where ever she is, you just have to focus on yourself”
“stop telling me that, i just wanna see my daughter right now” one could feel the sadness in her voice.
Vanessa’s POV
After the long endless walk, we finally got to his house or should i say a mansion cause what i’m seeing here is a paradise.
“Are you just gonna stand there or you’re gonna come in?” He asked with sarcasm in his voice.
We walked in to the maids running helter skelter with different delicacies of food. The aroma from the kitchen hit my nose making me realize how hungry i was.
A girl walked up to deliberately colliding with me.
“What the hell is wrong with you, are you so blind that you can’t see? She asked with venom in her voice.
Well i’m too hungry to reply back and besides this is my first day in the mansion.
Why do i keep having enemies everywhere i go?
“Don’t worry about what she said, that has been her character, always acting like a boss when she is nothing compared to one. Let’s just go in and drop our things, i bet you don’t wanna miss this food.
I quietly left with him to avoid all those stares boring holes on my body.
New place, New enemy and i’m definitely gonna overcome them like i always do.
