We walked as he questioned me about Shani’s progress.
“They’re resting. Maven said he would be completely healed in two days, but Shani should be good in a couple more hours.”
“Here we are, now let your wolf leash out his anger. I will wait for you right here.”
I didn’t have to wait too long, my wolf was breaking out as he sees more crawlers for him to shreds to pieces. My bones started to crack as I shifted to my wolf form, I could see Ranulf opened the cell door while the crawlers were moving backward until their back hit the wall.
He caressed my wolf as he ushered him into the dungeon. There were shrieking and screaming sounds heard throughout the cell. I was growling and rabidly letting the frustration of my wolf out. Moments later there was nothing but the heavy breathing of my wolf.
“Ssshh… you’re good now. I will find more crawlers for you.” Ranulf pulled my wolf into his embrace, his wings spread and engulf us in his scent. He let the blood of the crawlers smeared onto himself until my wolf finally sighed and started to purr under his embrace.
