Chapter 84 Position to Play the Ball

Book:Dearest Wife Published:2024-5-1

The word eat in Archie’s mouth immediately colored the air with a few ambiguous meanings.
The underlying meaning of men eating women was far too obvious.
Yoseph’s face was also covered in frost. He lowered his head and splattered his rage onto the billiard pole. The ball did not move with a single swing, and dust flew everywhere.
Emma’s small face was also unusually warm. She had no idea which scripture was problematic. Archie’s words always made her recall the scene of him eating in various poses last night. Her heart was trembling as well. It was extremely humiliating.
Archie cast a sidelong glance at Emma, whose little face was already flushed. “Didn’t you want to learn?” he asked gently.
Emma had been so preoccupied with fighting Luisa that she had forgotten to learn how to play billiards. She walked over lightly after Archie reminded her.
“Hold the pole and slightly lower your waist!” Archie’s large palm encircled her small hand.
Emma was distracted for a moment by the overlapping posture.
“Your waist posture is incorrect!” Archie’s large palm landed unexpectedly on her slim waist.
He patted her gently, making her bend a little more as he followed her graceful curves.
“Also, the swinging posture is incorrect!” Archie was strict in the way that a strict teacher is strict. He advised Emma on every detail.
“Can we start playing now?” Emma was already in the position that Archie desired, but she was a little tired from holding the pole, so she could only ask him quietly.
“Swing it out!” Archie gave the command, and Emma swung the pole down, but only wiped the ball’s edge. The ball rolled across the board for more than three meters without making eye contact with her.
Luisa couldn’t stop laughing, but Yoseph’s eyes were dull and lacked radiance. His hands were on the pole, and he looked at Archie, who was teaching Emma how to play again.
“Don’t be discouraged; all beginners are like this!” Archie remained silent in the face of Luisa’s mockery, instead patiently comforting Emma.
Despite Emma’s embarrassment, the man standing behind her was her most steadfast supporter. It was up to her whether the ball could be played well or not.
Second, she needed a dependable embrace, similar to the one Archie had given her.
Emma’s hands were sore after a dozen or so strokes, but she still managed to hit a decent ball.
Her tiny face was flushed red, and her snow-white brow was drenched in sweat.
“Drink some water!” Yoseph came over and handed Emma a bottle of water as she was wiping the sweat from her brow and watching Archie swing the ball.
Emma was stunned for a moment and looked guiltily at Archie. “Young Master Yoseph’s water, why aren’t you picking it up?” Archie asked lightly.
Emma had no choice but to reach out and take it. “Thank you,” she said softly as she held it in her palm.
Yoseph returned to his cart and sat down to drink some water. Archie also stowed the cue stick and took the water from Emma’s grasp. Before passing it to Emma, he unscrewed it and drank two mouthfuls.
His seemingly innocuous action hinted at his and Emma’s close relationship.
Luisa’s teeth were aching from rage, but there was nothing she could do. What was her name? Is Emma now Archie’s wife?
However, she would eventually drive this woman out of the Grafton Family.
Furthermore, she would only look good if Archie told her to leave.
Luisa smiled proudly and ruthlessly as she imagined this scene.
The court progressed, with each player finding their own ball and preparing to play to the finish line.
After a round of friendly competition, everyone’s ball was not far from the cave’s entrance.
Despite the fact that the previous atmosphere resembled a smokeless battlefield, each of them had their own thoughts.
However, when it came time to reveal who had won and who had lost, everyone calmly accepted the challenge.
Yoseph was in terrible shape today. As a result, he was a little out of control. The ball brushed past the hole after the last ball was thrown out. With a sigh of disappointment, he tossed the ball and sat back in the cart to drink water.
Luisa, understandably, did not want to put on too much of a show in front of Emma, so she responded calmly.
Archie, who was standing to the side, had already thrown the ball into the hole when she swung the second ball.
“Alright. Nobody, no one, was in the mood to keep playing today’s ball. It was better to leave right away. Let’s meet again another time!” Archie spoke softly.
Emma had been admiring Archie’s style of play the entire game. A knowing smile appeared on her face when she saw his ball enter the hole.
And this smile was especially dazzling in Yoseph’s eyes.
She didn’t dare to mention the incident that occurred in his office yesterday, or the words that Yoseph had said.
Although he admitted to having ulterior motives for Emma, he still had to consider Archie’s relationship with his brother.
He had no choice but to wait, just like Luisa.
Wait for Emma and Archie to split up. Only when she was single again could he openly pursue her.
He could only look at her from a distance now. It was just that this sensation was extremely unpleasant.
Yoseph bet everything on Luisa. He had a feeling this woman would show up and cause a commotion. She also had a slew of tricks up her sleeve. He wished for her to demolish Archie’s marriage. It was the most fitting. Originally, she was supposed to be Archie’s wife. Aside from marrying into the Grafton family, no other man would dare to have any negative thoughts about her.
After all, she was born with the intention of becoming Mrs. Grafton.
Yoseph splashed cold water on his face, hoping to wash away that greedy desire.
Fortunately, the Sandford Family’s second daughter, whom he was about to marry, had vanished.
Otherwise, he would have been doomed to the same fate as Archie.
They drove their cars away after leaving the golf course.
There were three cars on the downhill road, neither far nor close. Luisa’s eyes were filled with rage as she stared at the massive off-road vehicle. The more she thought about it, the more she despised it. She would hate to tear Emma apart as long as she imagined Emma sitting in Archie’s passenger seat as gentle as water.
That seat had once belonged to her, but Emma had taken everything from her.
Yoseph’s car was parked in front of us. She could see the two people smiling and talking in the rear view. Their feelings of rage could not be expressed. When did he become so out of control?
And was it all because he liked that woman?
Love has the power to obliterate a person’s mind. Maybe it was all right. The days he was currently living were all heavy.
The sky gradually darkened on the way back. Emma leaned back in her seat, feeling a little tired.
Archie looked at her and said quietly, “If you’re tired, go to bed for a while. You still have more than a half-hour before you leave the house.”
Emma shook her head and said, “I’m not exhausted. Simply lean on it.”
“Yoseph appears to be kind to you.” Archie was unconcerned.
Emma’s body stiffened as a result of his words, and she awoke completely.
“Oh, no… Is that correct? I’m not feeling it.” As she answered, Emma subconsciously sat up straight and reached for a Coke.
Someone who is guilty, like Emma, will feel weak and want to grab something in their hands.
And these people were usually of a pure and honest nature. A truly evil person would not have a guilty conscience that others could see.
“What are you worried about? He was kind to you, which made me feel relieved.” Emma had no idea what Archie was thinking.
“Why?” Emma was taken aback. Is Archie’s heart really that big? His brother was considerate to his wife. How could he be so at ease?
“I also hope that Yoseph will accept you, because our brotherhood has grown since we were children. It will be extremely difficult for me if he does not accept you.” Archie’s words compelled Emma to pay attention to him. Why did he have the impression that he was gay?
“Would you like to tell me that Yoseph is your good brother and that he means a lot to you?”
Emma made every effort to comprehend the distorted image in her mind.
She used to enjoy watching anime when she was 15 or 16 years old. The majority of the time in anime, it was love between two handsome men. That kind of lovely, romantic, and even melodramatic romance had always stayed with her.
Archie’s words had ignited her boiling blood at this precise moment.
Actually, if Archie and Yoseph had that kind of male relationship, they’d be the most beautiful couple. Their appearances were excellent, their families were compatible, their figures were attractive, and they had strong feelings for each other.
“What are you staring at, Emma?” Suddenly, Archie yelled her name, his face flushed with rage.
Emma shivered and jerked awake “What?” she asked, her face blank.
“You’re preoccupied. What are you contemplating?” Archie asked her in an obnoxious tone.
“I… I don’t think about anything.” Emma’s face had turned pale from fear. She quickly squeezing the seat beneath her. She must have gone insane.
“Did you hear what I was saying just now?” Archie had just responded to her, but she had completely ignored him.
“You said you and Yoseph are good brothers, good brothers, good brothers.” Emma responded right away.
“No!” Archie’s voice sank and cut her off.
Emma was completely taken aback. What was it if it wasn’t this sentence?
“Sorry, I was distracted by something else. Can you repeat that? I orange definitely give it my full attention.” Emma’s face was flushed with embarrassment.
Archie abruptly pulled over to the side of the road, and his ink-black eyes swept across her face. “Can you tell me what you’re thinking?”
“I just wanted… Yoseph to marry. Will you also include the name of the woman he marries?”
Emma’s mind quickly changed and she found a topic to discuss. Oseoh
“Of course!” says one. Archie responded immediately.
“Then why are you concerned that Yoseph dislikes me?” Emma was completely perplexed.
“Because I have a disagreement with him and the Sandfords. Luisa had a positive relationship with him since she was a child.? I didn’t marry Luisa, but I did marry you. I am afraid he will be dissatisfied with you.” Archie’s response cleared Emma’s doubts and helped her understand.
“Yoseph was injured for me when I was seventeen years old. He’d been stabbed in the back and required seven stitches. I decided then and there that I would be his brother for the rest of my life.” Archie’s voice grew low and a little sad.
Emma was taken aback. No way, no how. Was there such a melodramatic plot?
