The atmosphere slowly returned to normal, and the heat and pressure had disappeared.
Emma’s gaze was somewhat surprised as she swept across Archie’s indifferent and cold face. She held her breath, “You are anxious to have children with me because you want to use the child as an excuse to suppress these doubts and objections?”
Archie looked over with a deep gaze and blocked her line of sight. He nodded noncommittally. “That’s right. That’s what I meant.”
Emma’s breathing became more rapid. She was even a little annoyed. “I can only bear with it if I make a chess piece for you. You can’t push our child out to be a chess piece.”
Archie restrained his brows, and his gaze became even more profound and unfathomable. It was like a vortex that would suck people in.
Emma subconsciously felt a little uneasy. She tightly held onto her lower lip and stubbornly said: “Could it be that what I said is wrong? You want to use our child as a shield.”
“Since it’s my child, how can I let him be in any danger?” Archie was really angered by this woman’s little brain. His handsome face was covered with a layer of frost.
Emma still could not figure it out, so she decided not to think about it. She kept feeling that whatever Archie did, he had his goals.
Couldn’t he be emotional and act on impulse? There were goals in life everywhere. Wasn’t life tiring?
“It’s getting late, I’ll go back first!” Emma was ready to leave. Just as she stood up, a large hand forcefully pulled her back.
This time, she did not fall on the sofa, but directly fell into his arms.
“Accompany me to finish reading these documents and go home together.” A man’s faint voice sounded beside her ear.
Only then did Emma’s gaze look towards the table. There were a few documents and reports piled up there. She could not help but be startled.
Could it be that Archie did not come here because of the Flower Sky Hotel? He also came to work?
“Bring me the documents!” The large palm around her waist loosened, and a man’s tired voice sounded.
After Emma got her freedom, she did not know what was wrong with her. She actually obediently brought the documents over for him.
Archie took the documents and started to read them. As he read, he said faintly, “You haven’t had dinner yet, right?”
“No!” He did not mention it, but Emma did not realize that she was hungry. When he mentioned it, she realized that she was starving.
She had only eaten a few pieces of bread in the afternoon. Now it was time for lunch. How could she not be hungry?
Archie held the documents and stood up with his tall body. He walked straight to the door.
When he opened the door, James smiled and looked at him flirtatiously. “Young master, what’s up?”
Archie looked at him coldly. “Go and prepare dinner.”
James immediately smiled and nodded. “Okay, other than dinner, do I need to prepare anything else?”
They were both men and were very young. Archie was so bored that he actually understood the hidden meaning in James’s ambiguous tone.
“It’s not convenient for her today!” The words of the man, neither light nor heavy, happened to pass into Emma’s ears. Her small face jumped and blushed.
Damn man, what nonsense are you spouting? Such a private message, yet he actually spoke nonsense in front of outsiders.
After closing the door, Archie deliberately glanced at her. Sure enough, this little thing’s face had already turned red to the core of her ears.
Emma stared at him somewhat angrily. She wanted to scold him a few times, but she was shy to say it out loud. She could only go and pick up the wine on the table hatefully.
Before she could say anything, she heard the man’s faint voice, “During the menstruation period, don’t drink. Put it down.”
Emma was stunned for a moment. Since she was young, no one had ever cared about her more than him.
“I am thirsty. I suddenly want to drink.” As if she deliberately wanted to go against him, Emma still took a light sip but she held it in her mouth and did not dare to swallow it.
The man’s gloomy gaze suddenly stared at her. Emma’s heart jumped wildly. Strange, what did she feel guilty about?
“You dare to swallow it and try!” This was a critical period. This woman dared to not cherish her own body?
Emma was frightened by him. The wine was in her mouth and she really did not dare to swallow it.
Suddenly, the man flung the document in his hand and threw it on the table. His tall and domineering body leaned forward and locked her between the sofa and his chest.
On the top of his head, the European crystal lamp emitted a blurry light. Soft halos sprinkled down and landed on their faces.
Emma was shocked. When she opened her eyes again, the man’s face was just inches away from her. His cold aura, however, was shockingly hot, sprinkling on her soft and tender face.
“Not obedient? Hmm?” The man’s tone was dangerous, and his actions were even more dangerous. He was like a lion staring at its pitiful prey with an invasive gaze.
Emma panicked even more and wanted to escape. She wanted to refute, but the wine was in her mouth, forcing her to say nothing.
Until the man sucked her pink lip into his thin lips in an extremely overbearing manner. He also took away the wine in her mouth.
“I’m not drinking anymore, I’m not drinking anymore. Go away!” Emma was completely frightened by his overbearing way of not having any friends. She immediately shouted and pushed him away.
This man was simply a devil. There was nothing he could not do. Only he could think of it.
Seeing that she was honest, Archie then returned to his seat and continued to read the documents seriously.
Emma was secretly driven mad by the side, but she did not have the courage to resist Archie anymore.
When she was bored, she could only take out her phone to look at it.
Suddenly, a short colored letter was sent over. When she opened it, she saw Tasya wearing a theater uniform and pointing at the camera lens. She smiled very happily.
Emma replied with a smiley face and then started to chat with her.
“How is the life of the crew? Did you meet a handsome guy?”
“Besides practicing and memorizing lines, I don’t have time to do anything else. Although it’s tiring, it’s still sweet. It’s worth it.” Tasya was now a person who pursued her dreams. She was currently on the road to becoming a big shot. How could she feel tired?
“Then I really have to congratulate you. Your dreams are about to come true.” Emma sighed with emotion and her beautiful eyes involuntarily drifted towards Archie.
She was tied up by this man. How could there be any dreams to talk about?
“Newlyweds are still sweet, right? Your husband’s fighting ability in bed must be pretty good. Go to hell with your happiness.” The two good sisters who used to talk about everything had nothing to worry about at this moment.
Emma’s small face instantly turned red and the button’s movement became heavier, “That’s all. How good can it be?”
“No way. Archie’s figure looks very good. It’s impossible that he can’t satisfy you.” Tasya was really too bored. That was why she was so gossipy.
Emma was amused by her words and was about to continue chatting when suddenly, the phone was snatched away by a big hand.
“Sigh. . .” Emma, who was unprepared, instantly froze. “Don’t look, return the phone to me.”
Archie’s gaze swept across their chat logs and his handsome face instantly turned cold. “I can’t satisfy you?”
Emma was stunned into a statue. It was over. The result of speaking without any restraint was indeed miserable.
