“We all know how capable Derek is. He can release me at any time if he really wants to let me go.” Marco smiled coldly.
Yolanda sighed. “But, Mar, you kidnapped Serina and wanted to replace Serina. You were wrong.”
Yolanda’s voice was very light as she was afraid that she would make Marco sad, and there was no hint of reproach in her tone.
Marco raised her head and looked at Yolanda with sharp eyes. “Mom, am I wrong? Is there anything wrong with your arrangement? Everyone is happy if Serina marries Ernest and Derek married me.”
“But, I asked Serina and she said that it was impossible for them to be together. They are just good friends. she loves Derek.”
Yolanda tried her best to persuade Marco. Although she knew that Marco was wrong this time, she still wanted her daughter to repent.
“What about me? Who is responsible for what I’m suffering? Is it wrong for me to take back everything that belongs to me?”

Marco lowered his head, and his eyes were still filled with hatred.
Yolanda realized that what she said was too harsh.
Yolanda’s tone softened. “Mar, you’re not listed as wanted now. You can go out now. Why don’t you stay with me?”
“Mom, do you think Serina and Derek will let me go?” Marco smiled.
“They will. Serina will listen to me. Since she gave birth to a baby, she has become much more sensitive than before. She will listen to me.”
Yolanda was very pleased with this.
“I’m afraid that they remove me from the wanted list because they want me to show up. They want me to think that I’m safe. They might have set a trap.”

“I should hide now. After a few days, I will leave.”
“You don’t want to live with me?” Yolanda looked at Marco with a kind gaze.
“I won’t cause you any trouble. After all, I’m a criminal now. It won’t be good for you if they know that I’m here.”
Marco picked up a fork and started eating again.
“I don’t mean that,” Yolanda hurried to explain. “It doesn’t matter if you stay here. Anyway, I’m capable to support you.”
“I can’t let you take care of me for the rest of my life. I’ll leave after a few days. I won’t starve to death no matter where I go,” Marco said firmly.
“If you insist on leaving, I will not stop you. I will give you a sum of money. You can go to a city you want to go to. Buy a shop and do some business. Remember to contact me.”
Marco raised his head and smiled. “Mom, don’t worry. In this world, you’re the only person who is kind to me. I’ll definitely contact you. I want to go back to the place I went to when I was a child. It’s a beautiful place.”
Yolanda hurriedly nodded. “Great.”
As long as she could turn over a new leaf, everything was fine.
A week later, Serina was discharged from the hospital.
The wound on her body had recovered. Her foot injury was relatively serious. The doctor wanted her to stay in the hospital so that they could observe her injury for a few more days. However, Serina had been staying cooped up and was already about to go crazy. Derek failed to persuade her, so he had to let her leave the hospital.

Blueberry and Cherry were sitting on the floor, piecing together a picture. When they heard Serina’s voice, Blueberry raised her head.
“Mommy, do you want to drink water or juice?”

“Do you want to work on the jigsaw puzzle with us?”
“It is so childish.”
Blueberry stood up, took out a large jigsaw puzzle from the cabinet, and handed it to Serina.
“Dad said that if you think our jigsaw puzzle is too childish, you can do this one.”
Serina looked at the jigsaw puzzle that Blueberry had thrown into her arms, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
Derek treated her like a child.
Cherry’s eyes lit up when she saw the big jigsaw puzzle. “Mommy, let’s do this big jigsaw puzzle together, okay?”
“I’m not interested in it.” Serina was lying on the sofa.
Suddenly, she sat up.
“Cherry, Blueberry, let’s make something delicious and go to see Ernest in the afternoon, okay?”
“Okay!” Cherry immediately applauded in support.
“But Daddy said he won’t let you go out. You can’t go out now.” Serina’s enthusiasm was dampened.
Serina stared at the Blueberry and stroke her little head. “You shouldn’t always listen to your daddy. I will go.”
“I’ll call Dad first and ask if he allows you to go out.”
“Come on!” Serina stood with arms akimbo. “Don’t you understand what I’m saying? Let’s go out secretly and not let him know. We will come back before he comes back.”
“Mommy! Daddy will be angry if he knows it,” Blueberry said.
“We’ll take a car. I won’t drive. Let the driver take us there. He can take us there, and then come to pick up the nanny. What do you think?”
“And the bodyguards.”
“Alright, I’ll listen to you! Your father isn’t here. You’re the one in charge now. I’ll listen to you, Miss Blueberry.”

Serina limped into the kitchen. Ernest loved to eat the dishes she cooked the most.
It was not the time to eat, so she decided to make him some snacks.
