Cherry still hugged Marco’s legs. “Mommy, I miss you so much. You’re finally back. Can you make me my favorite dish?”
“Cherry, she is not your mom. She’s your aunt. You can call her aunt Marco,” Yolanda said with a smile.
“Aunt Marco?” Cherry tilted her head, confused. “Grandma, this is mommy.”
“Cherry, she is not your mom. She is your mom’s twin sister. She looks exactly like your mom, right?”
Cherry was even more confused.
“It doesn’t matter. You will get used to it.” Yolanda turned to Ernest. “Ernest, thank you for taking care of Cherry and Blueberry in the past few days. Since now Mar and I are back, you are liberated from taking care of these two little girls.”
“Ms. Yolanda, you don’t need to say that. I am Cherry and Blueberry’s godfather. That’s my duty.”
