Aleena’s POV

“It seems like you have learned a lot of things in the future.”, He said, crying and grinning happily.
“I…I’m not from the future.”, I lied bluntly.
“Sweetheart, I’m not that intelligent like you, but at least don’t think me dumb.”, he joked, on which I bit my inner cheeks to stop myself from admitting it. “Your hair… “, he paused before continuing, “… is now longer than the Aleena who just went on a date.”
He observed that?
“Well, it wasn’t just Stephen, but I was also observing you went you were walking toward him. It was just that there was a time that you were not able to walk properly without help, and your legs used to tremble while walking, and today you were taking long and confident steps.”, he added. “On the top, I know the power of Eva.”
I tried not to cry but started crying, “Yes, I’m from the future. And I had to say a lot of things to you.”, I cried, hugging him tightly in my arms.”

In between this, Stephen had asked dad to hand over all my weapons to the person he had said, and for a while, he had to leave his study room.
‘Aleena, we need to leave.’ Eva’s mind linked me.
‘Won’t you meet dad too?’
‘No. I won’t let him go if I will. So, let’s go. NOW.’
‘Fine.’
“Dad, I need to leave.”, I said reluctantly. We talked about a lot of things that we had never done in years, but neither did he ask me about the future nor did I tell him anything till then. “Dad, I want to tell you that you…”
“I don’t want to know about anything, Princess.”, Dad cut me in between. “I want to enjoy this moment rather than worrying about tomorrow. And I’m glad that we finally talked and cleared our issues. Just make me proud.”
“I love you, dad.”
“I love you too, Princess.” I was about to leave when I sensed something.
‘Eva, stop.’
‘What now?’
‘I quickly left the study room in search of mom because I couldn’t sense her presence. And this could be possible only when someone used perfume to hide the scent. There was just a moment before dad’s death. I hid near the stair where no one could see me until someone especially looked for me and my eyes widened when I saw Mom with Julia; I couldn’t smell the scent of both of them.
This was how no one came to know that a vampire was in the pack.
Because Mom helped her in sneaking inside the pack as well as the packhouse.
“You can Francis inside.”, She said, giving a dagger similar to mine. “And this dagger is similar to Aleena, used this to kill Francis, and I will use this dagger to trap her in such a web from which she won’t be able to save herself. She will be blamed for killing her own parents.
“I have never seen someone as unlucky as her, in which her own mother wanted to kill her.”, Julia said, taking the dagger from Mom. “By the way, you want me to kill you, too?”
“No. I have planned something else about that part. I won’t mind ending my own life, but before that, I would have to complete the web that I’m preparing.”
Do hell with this, MOM. Let me teach her a lesson, or I would regret that I never taught a lesson.

Stephen’s POV
.
“How much time are they going to take?” I said, walking to and forth. How could she leave without at least letting me know? Eva informed her mate that she was going in the past, in the same way she would also have done that. It was not that I stopped her from taking any decision.
“I don’t know, Bro!! But will you please stop walking in front of me? It is giving me a headache now. On the other side, no one can move an inch while you have completed a few kilometers in these hours.”, Daniel said, rubbing his head.
“I’m worried, Dan.”
“But why are you worried? You are okay whenever she is in the field or between other men during training but are you getting worried when she just went to meet her dad? I don’t understand; what is the fact you’re getting more worried about?”
“That she loves her dad the most in this world, and her dad loves her too.”
“And I don’t see that any problem.”, Daniel said, narrowing his eyes. “Every daughter’s first love and the first hero is her dad.”
“What if she decides to stay with her dad and create another timeline rather than returning back to me?”
“Really, Stephen? Of course, she will come. I don’t think that Eva loves her dad any less, but that doesn’t mean she will leave me or our pup.”
“That’s because she knows that someone in her life is there to love her, and someone in her life is the creation of her love, but things are the same in my case.”, I muttered. He raised his eyebrow to explain the situation. That was when I spoke, “I haven’t told Lina that I love her yet.”
“What?”
“I know I should have shared my feelings with her a long ago, but I was waiting for the right moment. I mean, her birthday is in the next week, so I thought…” I stopped speaking when he shook his head with a disappointed look.
Before I would say anything else, Francis made some sound, and we both looked at him, knowing that he had started to awake from his sleep and there was a high chance that he would look for his mother. And in the next moment, he started wailing loudly. Moon Goddess, our ears! We both tried to calm him down, but he was not ready to listen. He was crying, opening his whole mouth, and not just that his white skin had started changing color from white to pink.
“Francis!! Baby!! My Prince Charming.”
“Aaaaaaaaaa”
And all of a sudden, Eva appeared in front of us, scaring both of us first, and then took him from Daniel’s arms. She took him to the bed with her.
‘Where is our mate?’ Thunder asked, sensing Lina was not with her. I was about to ask her when my nose hit with the smell of milk. I needed to see what she was doing because I could already smell it. So, I left the room for a while, keeping my mouth shut.
‘Our mate really left us or what?’ Thunder asked me as if I knew that question. ‘If your fear comes out to be true, then it’s all your mistake for taking so long to share our feeling with us. She even apologized to us during the alpha ceremony in front of everyone going on her knee, and she would have rubbed her nose in the ground as well. It was just we stopped her from doing that.’
‘I remember that, Thunder.’
‘And in the past one month, she also tried to change a few of her habits because of us.’
‘You don’t have to remind me even that, Thunder. I know and remember everything. And I promise you that just like the previous time, I wouldn’t let her go. It was Leia because which we stopped her last time and this time we want both of them. Of course, no one can love her as much as her father did, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love her.’

Finally, when I sensed that the breastfeeding was done. I walked inside the room.
“Where is Lina, Eva?”
“Just… just not talk about that bitch.”, Eva hissed in a low tone. I looked at lil Francis; he had already slept. How much do these pups sleep, by the way?
“Excuse me?” I asked in shock, knowing that Eva wasn’t someone who could use these words for her sister, not until she would have done really, really horrible things.
“She killed Mom and Julia before Julia would have killed dad. And because of this, she has created a big mess and another timeline.”
“What! What!”, Both Daniel and I shouted in shock, and again Francis started making faces as if he would start crying anything, but thankfully Eva calmed him down and glared at us.
“Now what?” I asked in tension.
“She will be punished for killing Luna, and the pack members of that timeline will assume her as an imposter. Even though dad knows the truth but I don’t that the Aleena of that timeline will understand that; she is the same old bitch, and she wouldn’t leave Aleena of this timeline not until she would kill end up beheading the….”
“Stop” I tried to speak as low as I could. “Please take me to that time period so that I could bring her back.”
“No. I clearly told her not to mess with the timeline. Now, that created that problem on her own; let her solve it on her own.”
“How.. how can you say like that? She is in problem, and instead of helping her, you saying leaving her hand in this situation?” I asked, not believing that she was saying something like that for that sister whom she loved a lot. She didn’t answer anything and ignored my question.
“Fine! If you don’t want to help. I won’t ask you to but at least drop me in the same timeline. I will help my mate on my own.”
Again she ignored me. My jaws tightened, I wished I could mindlink my mate or feel something related to it, but I couldn’t. I looked at Daniel so that he could help to deal with his mate. I couldn’t understand why she was behaving like this?
Was there something like post-pregnancy mood swings?
Because whatever the reason was, she wasn’t behaving like an old Eva. Eva, I knew, was ready to save Lina, even if she knew that she was wrong.
“Angel!!”
“Why does he even want to go there? For that, mate? Really? I can bring Diana, his fated mate, from another dimension if that is what he is thinking about losing his chosen mate then.”
“But I don’t want Diana anymore.”, I responded. “I want my current mate in my life. And even Thunder wants Lina and Leia.”
“Why?”
“Isn’t it obvious that I love her?”
“And how can you say that you love Aleena, not Diana?”
“Really, Eva? My mate is in danger, and you are interrogating me?”
“What I just asked a simple question how do you know that you love her? Answer me, and I will take you to her.
“Because nothing makes sense without you.”, I admitted, getting irritated. “Now, take me to her.”
“Without Leia or Aleena?”
“Both. I love Lina no less than Leia.”, I replied annoyingly.
She chuckled before speaking, “I told you. He loves you.”, She was looking at me when she said so, on which I frowned until I saw her shifting her eyes behind me. I turned around and found Aleena leaning against the door, crossing her arms around her chest, in the same red dress which she had worn on date night.
I furrowed my eyebrow looking at her and then looked at Eva, who had a sly smile on her lips.
“Did you both play along?”
“Not just we both, even your brother.”, Eva replied, on which I glared at Daniel.
“What? Don’t glare at me like that; it was your mate’s plan to Deceive my Beta, I mean former Beta.”
“So, it means the story you had cooked….”
“That would have come true if I wouldn’t stop this stupid at the right moment.”, Eva responded. And then I looked at the girl who almost gave me a heart attack to me while she kept smiling at me like an idiot.
“Eva, you can unfreeze others, and I’m taking this idiot with me.”, I mumbled before grabbing Aleena’s arms and dragging her out of there.
After a while, everyone resumed their task, which had been paused for a few hours.
“You had dragged me in the same way to the cell in the same pack around two months before.”, I heard her speaking. I stopped walking and looked at her, pushing her against the wall. She hissed when her head hit the wall with force accidentally.
“And even at that time, you were successful in deceiving me, and you did the same thing today.”, I growled at her.
“Don’t you know everything is fair in love and war?”, She asked, sensually touching my lips with her thumb. “The war was called off at the moment when you gave a new life, and I won’t mind deceiving you again and again and again and again to listen to those three words from your mouth which you haven’t said to me directly, looking straight into my eyes.”, She said and licked her lips with the tips of the tongue, touching my chin which her thumb.
Damn this woman!!
I slammed my lips over her, pouring all my feelings for her into that passionate kiss. After a few minutes, we broke the kiss, panting slowly and resting my forehead against her.
“I love you, Lina. And I’m not saying this for Leia. I’m admitting it because I love your badass side and your bad side way more than the fake good side. You speak bitter, you aren’t friendly, you don’t like gathering, you’re ambitious, you are blunt, and there are many more things that are different from others, but I love the way you are.”
Tears started brimming in her eyes after hearing my words. “I love you too, Stephen. I love you so much.”
“Let’s go home, Mate. Now, it’s time for your punishment.”, Thunder said in a serious tone. “How dare you elope with Eva.”
“Wait! Wait…”
“No.”
“At least listen to me out, that the stock of condoms is finished; I guess we need that before any punishment.”, I suggested with a wink.
“Youuuu,” I just grinned, seeing him getting frustrated.

Third Person’s POV
.
‘Did you listen to him, Leia? He said that he loves me.’ Aleena asked her wolf to remind her of something that her wolf had said to her once.
‘I heard that.’
‘You had once said that I don’t have any quality because of which anyone can love me. But here, I have now the one person who loves me for me and loves my bad side as well. You.. you were wrong, Leia.’, She said proudly.
‘Guess what? I’m happy to be wrong, Aleena.’, Leia said happily.
