Aleena’s POV
.
“Hello, sir!! This is for you.”, I said, forwarding that parcel to an old man.
“What is it, dear?”
“Meatballs and spaghetti, but the salt in it are slightly more than usual. And the look of this food is not presentable like the restaurant.” I already warned him so that he wouldn’t start complaining about it already.
“It’s fine, dear. It is still much better than sleeping with an empty stomach. Thank you again. May God bless you.” he gave a warm smile after saying this.
I couldn’t help but smile back at him. He was of my dad’s age. I wondered what could be the reason he was staying on the road.
“If you don’t mind, what are you staying here on the road? I mean, you might get wet in this rainy season?” I asked softly.
“I don’t have anywhere to go.”, he replied, and tears started brimming in his eyes. “I spent all my life, my saving in building my son’s career, and now when he became the manager of some big company, the first thing he did is to kick me out of his life because he was embarrassed by his father being a janitor.”, he narrated his story.
“Kids nowadays are so selfish after using their parents as their credit card, they leave their parents to pay the bill of it.”, he complained. “Are you married?” he asked. Before I would have answered him, he started on his own, “Don’t marry a man who will ready to leave his parents for any of the reason because the one who can’t belong to the people who spent all their life for me, can never belong to you.”
Once we gave the parcel to all the first five homeless people, Leia commented. ‘We are lucky that our mate is not a jerk like his son.’,
‘Agree. But we should do something for the people like them. Because in the last two observations, I have seen that most of them are older people. And I have a plan as well.’
‘Ahem. Ahem. I’m intrigued.’, She chirped.
I shared my plan with her, and I guess for the first time in her life, she was happy with my planning part. Opening the door of the car, I hopped inside the car and found Stephen using his phone. He quickly locked it, placing on aside before speaking, “Let’s go on an ice cream date now.”, he said, staring at the car.
“Aren’t you mad at me for not leaving the dinner in the middle?”
“Does it matter to you?”
“As…
“Don’t say YES because it would have mattered to you, then you wouldn’t have left the dinner in the middle in the first place.”, he said, cutting me in the middle. He didn’t even hear me, but at the same time, he was right.
I wanted to apologize to him but didn’t know why those three words were too hard for me to speak.
“Even now, you’re feeling guilty and bad for your behavior, but you don’t say it. I guess it’s your habit to regret the things when the time passes.”, he said or taunted. I didn’t know what it was. But I couldn’t leave with one regret. I already missed the chance to say, ‘I love you too, dad. I wasn’t going to repeat the same mistake.
“I’m sorry. I know I hurt you again. So, please tell me, what can I do to make things right?” I finally said it without wasting a second more. A smile broke on his lips, and he looked at me mischievously.
“Well, what can you do to make things right?” he asked.
“Anything that’s in my hand.”
“Anything?” he arched his eyebrow.
“No. I’m not ready for sex.”, I quickly responded before he used my word against me.
‘But I’m ready for it, Aleena. Just say YES, and we four will have a lot of fun together.’ Leia howled happily in my mind.
“It means, except sex, you’re ready for everything, right?” he asked huskily, and his eyes darkened. I adverted my gaze and started looking in the other direction.
‘Yes. It’s a big YES.’, Leia howled like a mad wolf. Poor she, she couldn’t mind linking her mate whenever she wanted. He didn’t ask that question again and stopped the car after driving for a while. When I looked around, I found the ice cream parlor beside the place where Stephen had parked his car.
“Yes, or No, Lina?” he asked again.
“Yes!”, I agreed.
“Yes, what?”, he asked. “Say the complete sentence.”
“Say, everything except sex.”, I agreed and then bit my lips nervously.
“Which flavor?”
I narrowed my eyes before replying, “No flavor at all. It’s a big NO for sex, then how can you ask the flavor of the condom from me?” I snapped.
Suddenly he busted into laughter, hearing me. “I was talking about ice cream, powderpuff.”, he said between his laugh, hitting my head with his fingers.
“I… I… ”
“Chocochips or something?” he asked, still laughing at me… I started looking in my lap, playing with my fingers because of embarrassment.
“Strawberry.”, I whispered.
All of a sudden, he stopped laughing and placed his index finger on my chin, making me look into his eyes. “I will make sure to buy strawberry flavor condom when the time comes.”, he smirked.
“Stephennnn,” I whined, hinting at my chest.
“Okay! Okay! Stay here. I will be right back.”

After a few minutes, he returned with a strawberry cone for Oreo and me and a Cream ice cream tub for himself.
A tub?
‘I didn’t know he likes ice cream so much. Well, I know nothing about him, to be exact. Maybe he would have bought a tub for all the family members?’
He started driving the car immediately after hoping inside.
“Won’t you eat your ice cream now?”,
“No. I don’t have a habit of eating ice cream from the tub.”, he responded. “Instead of that, I like to place it somewhere and then lick it and roll my tongue all over the area wherever even a slight amount of ice cream is left out.”, he explained.
I knew he was talking about the ice cream, but I turned out with the thought of him rolling his tongue over my body and licking the ice cream which was on my lips. Controlling my perverted thought, I concentrated my mind on eating my ice cream before it melted down. At the same time, I was observing him from the corner of my eyes. He was controlling his emotions, and I could sense and feel it. He was trying his best to hide it from me, but why?
