Aleena’s POV

At Night!!
I shared everything with Mom from last night till now. I didn’t get a chance to share everything with her because last night, I was hell busy wiping the evidence against me. And then, one couldn’t mind link or use his or her wolf’s strength in anyways in the cell and when I came out of it. I started with another drama, one after another; it kept going on. Now that I was finally free from every drama, I could tell her everything that had happened.
‘Mom?’
‘Aleena? Thank god you contacted me back. I thought something happened to you because I was not able to contact you since Morning.’, Mom said in a worried tone.
‘I’m fine, Mom. Don’t worry.’
‘How the hell I wouldn’t worry? Where the hell were you? Neither I was able to call you nor mindlink you.’, She yelled. ‘I didn’t receive any update of that bitch’s death, and then all of a sudden, you disappear. I didn’t want to think, but my mind kept imagining your death. But then I talked with that bitch over the call; she was absolutely fine and fed me the story that you went on shopping with some Nora and Paige and lost your phone and blah blah blah.’, She kept speaking, not really giving me a window to speak.
She ranted for a few minutes, and I didn’t give any attention to it. “Will you speak anything? Or do you think I’m stupid who’s speaking since then like an idiot?’, She growled.
‘I can speak only when you will stop. Moon Goddess! Mom, you are not ready to stop till a moment before. Just tell me once you’re ready.’
‘Fine! Just tell me everything that happened in the last twenty-four hours and also the fact that how that bitch is still alive?”
‘Yeah. I’m coming to that topic. But before that, tell me, when did you last try to mind link me?”
“In the evening. I don’t remember the time.”
“Oh, okay. Now listen to me carefully and just don’t disturb me in the middle of the conversation.’ I warned and started narrating everything since last yesterday till now.
‘I knew that something was wrong with you. My heart was telling me that. See, mom’s sixth sense never goes wrong.’, She started again. ‘And that bitch. How dare she lied to me? Let me call her and take her class.’
‘Stop that, Mom. Those days are long gone when you used to scold her unnecessarily, and no one used to know about her. Now that she has a possessive and caring mate and a caring family. I doubt that doing that will be a great idea. By the way, did you miss to listen that she is a hybrid? A fucking hybrid.’
‘Yeah! I heard that. Even I’m having a hard time believing that my mate had hidden such a big secret from me, from us. But your father is not a hybrid, then how the hell did she was born as a hybrid.’
‘Maybe her mother would be?’
‘Impossible she would have died because of disease like a weak human if she would have been a hybrid.’, Mother pointed out.
Well, that was the truth.
‘Is it possible that Eva is not dad’s child?’ I asked, not sure about my question.
‘I don’t know. I don’t think that can be true. Why will he love and care for Eva so much if she won’t be his? Will I have to get Clara’s background checked before commenting on anything? And until then, try not to plot anything against that hybrid. Because if she is half-vampire, then it means that she will have a vampire’s gift as well. And who knows it can be of reading mind or seeing future or anything that can work in against for you.’, Mom warned
‘Don’t worry. I was thinking the same thing. It will be better to attack her after knowing everything about her. And she told me on her own that she will share everything about her tomorrow.’
‘Better because I doubt that your father will open your mouth about her.’
‘I couldn’t agree more on that part.,’ I said, recalling my father’s undying love for Eva. In case I found out that Eva was not his pup and I would surely lose my mind because he had no right to share his love with someone who was not even his.
‘Update me if you will find anything about Clara’s (Eva’s mother’s) past, and I will update you when she will tell me everything about her. Because all I knew was that two days had already been passed, and Daniel had announced that the Luna ceremony would be in five to six days. What if I couldn’t get a chance to stop everything? Then I might lose Daniel forever.’
‘That won’t happen. Don’t worry about it. Your mother is alive.’
‘Let’s see. I can take the risk, so I need to prepare with my Plan B as well. And I doubt I can do that from here, so you will have to do that from your end.’
‘That’s like my girl. Always prepared and always ready for the new challenge. I’m so proud of you.’
‘Good Night, Mom. I had a long day today.’
‘Good night, sweetheart. I can’t thank Moon Goddess more for saving you today.’

Next Morning!!
I didn’t have the habit of waking up in the Morning, so by the time I woke up, it was already eleven. I barely had any clothes in good condition because most of them had been either cut or torn. I made a mental tone to go the shopping today to get some clothes for myself because there was no way I was going to wear these clothes which were not going to match my undergarments. I knew that no one was going to see what I was wearing inside, and it never mattered to anyone.
But to me, even a small thing from top to bottom matters a lot.
‘People think that I dress up like a barbie doll to impress others or to seduce others, and there they go wrong about me. I don’t have to wear the small dresses and act like a whore to get someone’s attention; a simple SLAP on the face can do that work too. I do everything for myself. I feel confident after my makeup and my wearing my choice of clothes with matching pieces of jewelry and matching heels.’
When I walked out of the room after freshening up, I felt like a big part of me was missing knowing that I didn’t have applied to make up today. There was no use in asking about all things with Eva because she was all pain.
“Good Morning, Everyone.”
“Good Morning!! Good Morning Aleena. Good Morning!!”, Four different voices greeted me, overlapping one another.
“Nora, Paige! Can I borrow your makeup for today?”
“But why do you need makeup? You look beautiful even without it?” Paige asked, on which I furrowed my eyebrow.
“Don’t mind her. Using makeup or staying plain, that’s an individual choice.”, Nora said, hitting her head. “I have some. Come with me.” I followed her, and I found that she had just Kajal, eyeliner Lipstick, and foundation. That was it.
“You don’t have face primer, Liquid foundation, concealer, setting powder, Blush, Contour, Highlighter, Eyeshadow palette, Eyebrow pencil, Mascara, setting spray, makeup tools like
a. Foundation and concealer brush
b. Powder brush – for setting powder and blush
c. Highlighter brush
d. Fluffy crease brush for your eyeshadow crease shade
e. Flat eyeshadow brush for your eyelid shade
f. Small, dense blending brush for the outer corner of your eyelid.”
Nora opened her mouth and then closed it, looking at me warily like I was insane or had spoken some foreign language, unable to find any words to respond.”
“Damn it! I need to shop all these things as well.”, I grumbled, knowing that I wasn’t going to get my thing until my stay at this place.
“I’m sorry.”, She apologized.
“It’s fine. Not everyone has the collection of makeup that I have.”, I said truthfully and applied whatever I found with her.
“No one can believe that this barbie doll look-alike woman can be a vampire hunter.”
I chuckled at her excitement. “Well, I will take that as a compliment.”, I spoke. “And that’s why people say don’t judge the book by its cover.”, I added before leaving from there.
Once I was out, I noticed that Eva’s scent was very faint over here. As if she wasn’t here in the house for a while. Not just her but even Daniel’s scent was not here.
“Where is Eva?” I asked, mentally cursing myself for not observing this fact before.
“She went out with a Daniel.”, Chloe responded.
“Where?”
“No one knows about it except Stephen.”, Emma said.
“When? Eva didn’t share anything about me?”
“Early in the Morning. Maybe around four or five. And I don’t think even Eva has even idea about Daniel’s plans. So, because of that, she didn’t get a chance to tell you anything.”
“Oh! I hope nothing goes wrong this time.”, I said, with a smile on my lips. Only I knew how frustrated I was feeling after learning this piece of information. “I had to the shopping. Is there any spare car in the garage? I have to purchase a lot of things that were both snatched from my belongings or destroyed while checking my luggage.” I kind of complained about the deeds of both Alpha and Beta.
“Well, I have an idea to make them suffer for the loss.”, Paige said with an evil smile.
“What is it?” Emma asked her daughter.
“Since Big B is not here. We can ask Stephen to join her in the shopping with Aleena and pay for all the things that will that she will purchase.”, She chirped. I thought for a while on that part, and to be honest, I liked that idea. Daniel and Eva weren’t here, and I didn’t have any other thing to do. So, why not play with the Beta?
“I liked it.”, Nora said with a big grin on her face.
“Well, I can’t agree more. He has to reap what he has sowed.”, Chloe said and mind linked to the Beta. “He’s coming here. I haven’t informed him of the reason why I’m calling him here.”
Before Stephen, his scent reached my nose. Just like thunder before the lightning. “Yes, Mother!”, And there he was.
“You will take Aleena to the shopping today and bear all her expenses for the shopping. Dare you leave her alone over there and run away.”
“But why me?”, He asked with a scowl on his face.
“You should have thought about it before laying your hand on her luggage and taking all her cosmetics to the foreign department, and now because of you, Daniel forbid to return her things to her till her stay here in this pack.”
“Then she can gladly leave. It’s not her pack anyway.”, He responded bluntly, without caring that I might feel bad about it.
That was a different story; I never felt bad for anything.
“Stephen.”, Chloe warned him without saying anything.
“Fine!” he grumbled and then looked at me, narrowing his eyes. This was going to be fun. I had already planned how to torture him throughout the day.
