As the Lotus Restaurant was famous for its ancient style, there was no elevator. Fortunately, it had only five floors.
Serina jumped all the way to the bathroom and then back to the private room.

“No. It was my mother’s idea.” Derek sat on the bed.
“What does your mother mean? Will you do the same if your mother asks you to divorce and then marry Zoe?”
Derek remained silent.

“So, you intend to divorce?”
“It is a business marriage. I don’t love her. But she is the most suitable candidate to be my wife. But Serina, I won’t touch her.”
Derek looked up at Serina seriously.

Derek nodded slightly, “Serina, I can give you whatever you want, except the position of Mrs. Maynard. I can’t betray my oath.”
