Serina looked desperate.
Her clothes were bought from the stalls. She couldn’t help it because she had broken off with the Norrises and hadn’t been paid!
She was prepared to be mocked.
‘Laugh at me!’
The crowd burst into laughter.
This is what she had expected.
Only a few booth goods were hanging in Serina’s wardrobe.
Gloria took one out, “What brand is this? Serina’s clothes are so different. We have never seen this brand before!”
Everyone laughed together with Gloria.
“Stop touching it. They are brand-name exclusive to Serina!” Kamora echoed.
The crowd let loose with a loud guffaw.
Clara snickered. Serina was down and out after leaving Sammy and Derek.
She did not even have a decent piece of clothing!
“Serina, you said that you have many clothes, but I can tell they’re far from enough. How about my assistant sending some clothes to you tomorrow?”
Clara hurriedly said.
Serina rolled her eyes at her. “I don’t need it. I have enough clothes.”
“That’s right, Clara. She had costly clothes!” Gloria guffawed.
“Serina, I know you are not rich. We are sisters.”
Serina wanted to take off her hypocritical mask in front of everyone. At this time, Clara acted like they were sisters, but did she forget how she criticize her at the press conference?
“Thank you!” Serina sneered at her.
She turned to the crowd, “Are you done visiting? If you are, please leave me alone.”
They had laughed at her. It was time to leave.
Serina rolled her eyes.
“Well, I just had look at only one wardrobe, and there are others!”
Gloria moved to the other side.
The wardrobe of the hotel was a combination. The left and right ones were single-door while the middle one was a double-door large wardrobe with two drawers.
Gloria had just opened a single-door wardrobe.
To save trouble, Serina just used only one wardrobe and hadn’t even opened the others.
Gloria gazed at the opened largest wardrobe in the middle, wide-eyed.
The others were curious because they couldn’t see what’s inside the wardrobe from where they stood.
“Gloria, what’s inside? It can’t be empty, right?”
“Let us have a look! Don’t snigger alone!”
They gabbled, ready to mock Serina again.
Gloria came back to her senses and showed others the wardrobe. The brand new clothes inside were neatly hung up.
Clara was startled.
The clothes were of light colors, bright and dazzling.
They looked rather expensive.
Serina was also stunned. ‘The waiter tells me the wrong room number? The clothes are not mine!’
Everyone was shocked at the clothes which were different from the stall goods just now.
Kamora coughed, “Serina tricked us. What’s the brand? Let me see.”
Kamora pulled Gloria away, took out the clothes from the wardrobe, and looked at the logo.
“S. R. G?” Kamora had never heard of this brand before, “What brand is S. R. G? Have you heard of that?
Many of them shook their head.
Serina remembered that Derek had a lot of suits of S. R, but what the hell was this S. R. G? She vaguely felt that they were related.
“I’ve only heard of S. R, but who has ever heard of S. R. G?”
“That’s right. Maybe S. R. G is a small workshop making fake clothes with such a fake brand name.”
“Booth goods again? Is Serina a booth goods collector?” Gloria laughed.
Jessica, who had been silent, frowned. “I heard that Mr. David, the most famous designer under S. R, had specially designed a series of clothes for young women. It was named S. R. G. G represented the meaning of girl.”
The crowd was stunned.
What’s S. R?
That was the world’s top luxury brand.
David was said to be the most famous designer in S. R. He’s good at designing formal dresses. The royal family of the UK had even invited him!
“I know the S. R. G you mentioned, but David only designed a few series and stopped selling them later.” One of the small stars agreed.
“That’s right. David is capricious. He later became the design consultant for S. R. Since then, every one of his designs was an orphan work, and it’s scarce.”
After Jessica said that, the others looked at the wardrobe.
Were Serina’s clothes really S. R. G?
Kamora wore a faint sneer.
“Serina is just a scriptwriter. How can she afford David’s clothes? Besides, David’s clothes are not something that can be bought with money.”
“That’s right. They must be fake and knock-offs.” Gloria also echoed.
“The knock-offs are in high quality. Somebody made those clothes must be genius.”
Kamora looked at one of the girls, Eva. “Eva, I heard that your father is also a designer and has been to S. R before. Come and see if these dresses are real or fake.”
“My father told me how to tell whether the clothes of S. R are real or fake, but I can’t guarantee it,” Eva said as she walked up.
Eva modestly picked up one and flipped through some labels inside. Her face darkened.
She flipped through all the clothes.
“Judging from Eva’s expression, these dresses must be fake ones,” Gloria said with confidence.
Eva was sweating. She wiped her sweat and took a deep breath.
“Eva, real or fake?” Kamora asked anxiously.
“I’ve used all the methods my dad taught me. These clothes are … real.”
The others looked at each other in dismay upon hearing that.
Serina had orphan works of brand-name in her wardrobe!
“Alright, it’s getting late. We should go.” Clara said as she walked out.
The crowd shut their mouths. It seemed that Serina was underestimated.
