The first to get out of the car was a weather-worn and charming man in his fifties.
He then opened the door, and a woman got off.
She was wearing a black female suit, paired with a white shirt, and a black professional dress.

She was Yolanda Gill, the president of the Benevolence and Justice Society in S City.
The man who got off the car first smiled brightly at Serina as he saw her. He was Ryker Bailey, Yolanda’s right-hand man.
Serina raised her head and looked at the person she hadn’t seen for a long time before a smile appeared on her face.
Derek was sent to the hospital. Serina was anxiously waiting outside the emergency room.

She sat at the carved red wooden table with a cold look. In front of her was a set of antique tea set with peony.

Yolanda then let out a sigh of relief. She poked Serina on the head. “You always cause troubles for me!”
Serina suddenly had a brainwave. She moved her wooden stool closer to Yolanda and held her mother’s arm. “And I could act like a spoiled child with on my beautiful and noble mother.”
“I don’t buy it!”
Serina immediately released her hand. It seemed that it was not the right time.
“Mom, don’t be angry. Now Sammy and Clara are married, so am I. This is a happy ending. When your son-in-law is discharged from the hospital, I will introduce him to you.”
“What? You want to stay the rest of your life with him?”
“Yes, he was almost beaten to death for me today. That must be true love for me. Mom, he is very handsome, tall and mighty. He will definitely not disgrace you!”
Yolanda did not see Derek’s appearance because he had blacked out with his face covered with blood.
