Sammy was silent.
There were some things that he couldn’t control, such as what happened that night.
Serina sneered, “It seems men are all controlled by their dick. I have been blind for 22 years not to know you!”
She looked at Sammy and Clara who were holding hands. They looked so sweet and meant to be.
“Sammy, Clara, don’t make up the drunk-sex-story anymore. That is not the first time that you two sleep under my nose, right?”
Sammy suddenly looked up, saying, “Why would you say that? Serina, you know my feelings for you all these years.”
“Right! I used to know that, but now I find I’m a fucking idiot!” Serina said.
“Serina!”
Sammy could tolerate Serina mocking him, but he couldn’t bear Serina suspecting that he had cheated long ago. He had only loved her these past few years!
“Sammy, stop!” Clara pulled Sammy’s arm, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Serina turned away. The look on Clara’s face was the last thing she wanted to see.
“Sammy, after all, we did what we shouldn’t have done. We hurt Serina. We should not get married. The baby’s little, and I will have an abortion. We should not be together. You go back to Serina.”
“What are you talking about?” Serina couldn’t believe her ears, “You’re having a baby?”
Clara bit her lips and said, “Yes, I’m pregnant. Just one month. It’s okay. Abortion is so common now. It doesn’t matter.”
Hearing what Clara said, Sammy’s heart melted.
“Stop, Clara!” Sammy turned to look at Serina. “Serina, Clara is pregnant. I’m the baby’s father. That’s why we must get married immediately. Anyway, things just happened. If you want to blame me or beat me, go ahead.”
Serina stared at the stubborn Sammy. She suddenly felt that Sammy, whom she had known for 22 years, was now so unfamiliar to her.
Clara was pregnant. Sammy was going to be a father.
After all, she had become an outsider.
“Fine.” Serina turned around and left.
“Serina!” Clara took two steps forward. She staggered and almost fell. Sammy immediately stepped forward to support her and said, “Watch out!”
“Don’t mind me! Go chase Serina!” Clara was worried.
“You’re pregnant now. Don’t do dangerous things,” Sammy stared at Serina’s back, “Don’t worry. Serina has always been an independent girl. She’ll be fine.”
Due to the interruption, they no longer had the mood to choose a wedding dress. Sammy helped Clara to the parking lot.
“Sammy, will Serina go home? If possible, I hope she can attend our wedding. I only have one sister.”
“If she were to attend the wedding, she would definitely upset the ceremony. I know her too well. I’ll apologize to her when there’s a chance.”
Sammy’s eyes were filled with sorrow.
One was the woman pregnant with his baby after a stupid drunk sex, and the other was the woman he had loved for so many years since childhood.
He was also heartbroken and overwhelmed.
After they walked to the car, they suddenly found Serina standing beside their car.
“Serina?”
