Serina widened her eyes. Although she did not understand much about sex, she could basically guess what Derek meant by this.
His hand going under Serina’s pajamas, Derek was just about to caress her delicate body.
There was a knock on the door.
Derek frowned, “Who?”
His voice startled Serina.
“Mr. Derek, you might have forgotten that there is a board meeting today. It will start soon.” Henry’s voice came from outside the door.
Derek really forgot about this!
Today’s board meeting was planned when he was in England.
Serina was delighted. Since he needed to go to the meeting, he wouldn’t tortured her, right?
“What are you happy about? You get lucky today, but it won’t happen twice.” Derek roared.
Serina immediately tightened her lips, “Aren’t you going to have a meeting? Hurry up and go.”
Derek really didn’t continue. He had always been a workaholic. He would never be careless at work, especially at this critical time.
He got out of bed and went to the bathroom. Then he went to the cloakroom. When he came out, he had changed into a straight suit.
The well-tailored suit matched his figure even more perfectly. Serina sat on the bed and stared at him.
Recalling that Derek was just about to “eat” her on the bed, some words came to Serina’s mind: a dressed-up beast.
Derek didn’t look at Serina and walked straight towards the door.
“Hey!” Serina blurted out.
Derek stopped and said, “What?”
“Well, I’ve been here for many days. I want to go out for a walk.” Serina said slowly, not daring to anger him.
Serina quietly waited for Derek’s reply.
Derek paused for a few seconds before opening the door and walking out without saying anything!
“What? I’ve never seen such a rude man before!” Serina picked up a pillow and smashed it towards the door.
She lay down again. No matter how big the house was, people would get tired of it after a few days. Moreover, she was born to be active. If she did not go out and have fun, she would be bored to death!
The phone rang.
Serina picked up her phone. It was an unfamiliar number, and she didn’t answer it. It rang again, and Serina pressed the answer button.
“Hey!”
“Serina, why didn’t you answer my phone?” Ernest’s voice came from the phone.
“Oh! It’s you. My nephew!” It was also a good idea to vent her anger on Derek’s nephew.
“Get lost!”
“Be polite. Otherwise, I’ll tell your uncle to teach you a lesson. Call me aunt!” Serina instantly became lively.
“What? Please, I have been injured physically. Please don’t torture me mentally anymore!”
“Mentally and physically? Are you raped by someone?”
“Serina!” Ernest was furious.
“Alright, alright. Go on. I won’t tease you anymore.”
“Derek is really angry this time. He doesn’t allow me to use my cell phone. I snuck out and had to use a pay phone. I’m a celebrity, for god’s sake. What should I do if someone sees me?”
Serina suddenly remembered something. “I’m not much better either. Oh, right. Who is Ms. Lauren?”
“Ms. Lauren?”
“Yes. Henry mentioned the name. Who is she?”
“Oh, that should be my little grandmother.”
“Little grandmother?” Serina felt this address somewhat funny.
“What are you laughing at? She’s Derek’s mother. She’s more than ten years younger than my grandfather. Old man with young wife. You know how this works. If my mother were alive, she wouldn’t be much older than my mother.”
“Oh, I see.”
“Let me tell you, my little grandmother is really something. She is very strict with Derek. I call her witch behind her back. She probably doesn’t know that you and Derek have already married, but you have to be careful.”
