Purohit ji looked at them after calculating the house constellation and matching the horoscope to them creating a suspense.
Alice looked at the screen more anxiously feeling her heart coming out of her chest and throat getting extremely dry.
Adam caressed her hands while Alex caressed her back. Grandma looked at her granddaughter feeling extremely bad for her as she knows she has suffered a lot and only Adam makes her happy now.
She knows very well if the purohit ji also say the same thing she will be shattered. She just silently prayed thinking their purohit ji gives the good news finally.
“According to the horoscope their 34 virtues matches out of 36 and they can surely marry each other as the horoscopes says they are made in heaven couple”, said the purohit ji.
Alice smiled and hugged Adam and Alex due to excitement forgetting about her burnt hand absolutely and hissed in pain. Adam frowned and asked her to sit quietly which she obediently did.
“Purohit ji when should be the date of marriage be then?”, grandma asked with a wide smile.
“The next week Friday is the good day for doing their marriage. And myself will love to do this good thing from my hand and bless you both for being forever together”, he said with a smile and Alice squealed in happiness but kept her butt on couch only seeing Adam glare at her.
“That’s the best thing we could ever wish for. Thankyou purohit ji”, grandma replied.
The purohit ji cut the call looking at Adam signing that he needs to talk with him alone and Adam nodded.
After the call ended Alice was dancing, jumping, screaming with Alex and Addy while Adam and Grandma laughed looking at her. His eyes stared at Lauren who was seething in anger with jaws clenched and hands in a fist.
Adam dragged Alice to dinner table and everyone followed them. Alice was so happy that her appetite was almost full but one glare from Adam made her eat quietly.
He loves her and that’s why he gets strict when she gets careless. And Alice really scares to go against him when he is in his protective, caring mode.
She very well knows that he won’t hear anything or tolerate her any tantrum when it comes to her health or well being. And she loves her every mood or shades of him.
After having dinner and descending to their respective rooms Adam made her sleep. And he called purohit ji to talk what he wants to tell him. “Namastey! Purohit ji!! Tell me what you want to say?”, he asked politely and patiently.
“My child you need to protect her every time and everywhere as her horoscope says her life is in danger as an evil soul is trying to harm her again and again”, he silently listens to him.
“That evil soul will try her best to break this alliance and can even try to kill your love. But remember if you stay with her she won’t lose her life. Just remember one thing that your believe from love should not be any day less or weak”, he continued and Adam hmm.
“Love has the only power to make a person alive or death. It’s the powerful weapon in this world but it depends how one uses it as”, Adam replied saying ‘Yes purohit ji’.
“I bless you and wish that almighty give you the power to protect her with your love”, purohit ji said and bid bye to him before hanging up finally.
Adam turned from the large window sill and looked at Alice who was sleeping with a bug smile plastered on her face. He called Addy and Grandma in his old room where he lived for few days before getting in relationship with Alice.
They came in and he asked to sit on couch with his voice very strong and sharp. They agreed and took their seat while Grandma looked at him with concern.
“I know you both are tensed for me that what if anything happens to Alice. But listen brother and grandma we can’t let Lauren harm her at any cost. The morning incident wouldn’t have happened if we were two minutes earlier near her. But anyways I want you to keep an eye on her and tab her phone”, Adam said and they nodded their head.
“I don’t want any harm cause to her and make sure this one week she don’t gets any chance to harm her. I want her to throw her out before our marriage”, he said with a stern hard stoic face.
“But how Adam? You know Alice cherish her like her own sister and she will never accept this that her bestie is her enemy now”, Addy said.
“Yes and you remember right? When we told Alice to stay in distance with her she refused saying she knows Lauren very well and that girl will die before harming her”, grandma said making Adam sigh.
“I know but we need to come up with something she is harming my Alice. She burnt her hand today and tried to shatter her in pieces saying she can’t be mine as I may die”, Adam said pressing his temple.
“Yes I know. I even tried to send away that priest but before I could Alice already came and Lauren said her this priest is well known one. And we needed to be quiet as you or we don’t want her to be hurt”, grandma said.
“Yeah but I told her that priest was brought by Lauren and she believed means we have chance to make her see Lauren’s stooping low character”, Adam said in a serious tone.
“I wish so bro!!”, Addy exclaimed and grandma nodded.
They have been trying to get her real identity out near Alice but they failed as always Lauren played smart and proofed herself innocent near Alice.
Lauren even tried to snatch her projects by trying to but them. But hopefully they trusted in material, loyalty and Alice works and didn’t got bribed.
Adam tried to confront Alice but she denied saying it’s just his mind misunderstanding. Lauren isn’t like other’s and she herself said she will try to be nice with him and forget everything.
He knew after losing so many people’s she don’t want to lose anyone else. And he knows that but for protecting her he needs to make her see Lauren’s real identity.
They after planning to get her exposed descended to their rooms. When Adam started leaving for his room he saw Alex sitting in balcony and stopped going near him.
Alex seeing him startled first but relaxed and fidget his fingers. Adam kept his hand on his shoulder giving a sign that he can believe him.
“I know you love my sister a lot and I love her too. Like me you can also kill anyone for her and feel so happy that she is finally in safe hands”, he said looking down but then turned and looked at him.
“I always may feel guilty that my monster parents used her whole childhood and I couldn’t save her when she always saved me. But now I will save her from every evil eyes and will not hesitate to kill anyone if it’s needed”, Adam raised his brows to his statement.
“Lauren.. I am taking about Lauren. I noticed after your proposal date she is behaving weird. She even asked me how to forgive you guy’s fully who snatched her everything”, he said and looked down again.
“If her parents did wrong then you guy’s did the same thing too and even snatched her love Jake”, he says sighing.
“What do you mean Alex? Is there something you know?”, he questioned looking at him though he knows what it is.
“I don’t know I just feel like whatever bad tries to appear in Di’s life is all because of her. She was good but now she seems like evil who gives negative vibes”, he says looking at him and took his hands in his.
“Please promise me before she does anything to my sister you will save her. I don’t care if you need to kill me or her or not but all I want is Alice to be happy”, his words made Adam smile genuinely.
“I won’t kill you until you dare to harm my princess. But yes I will keep an eye on her and never ever try to let her harm Alice”, he assured Alex and he smiled bidding bye and good night.
Adam smiles thinking how he is like Alice with a good heart, and genuine lover with truth supporter. He really proves that he is Alice first child as she raised him up and he got all her habits and heart.
No matter what kind of blood runs in your vein if your love and upbringing is more stronger than that.
He went back to her room and see his love is still sleeping like a glass doll looking all fragile but he knows she is enough strong to fight her battle. He removes his shirt and slept beside her caging her in his arms tightly.
She hugged him back tightly snuggling her face toward his neck making his heart skip a beat. He has been with her from so many days now but still whenever she snuggles or pulls any stunt his heart skips a beat.
He leaned his head toward her and kissed her forehead promising himself to always protect her and cherish her like this. And won’t let Lauren or anyone else to harm her at any cost.
Staring at her face he felt asleep eventually and didn’t even realized at all how long he was staring at her.
