Elisa stuffed two boxes of things into the cupboard and saw all kinds of ingredients and New Year’s goods stored in it. She called her mother, “Mom, why did you buy so many things? We can’t eat all of this food.”
Emily rolled his eyes. “Give a part to William’s family. Your father and I will take it back when we go back to your grandfather’s house for the New Year. We can’t go empty-handed when we go back to your grandmother’s house on the second day.”
Elisa patted her forehead. “Mom, you should train me quickly. I will see other relatives of the Brich family this New Year. How can I give them a gift when they go back? How much is the right return?”
“Our family is different from William’s family, and I don’t know. At that time, you should be smart and ask your mother-in-law if you don’t know.”

Bruce leaned against Elisa’s arms and narrowed his eyes for a lunch break.
Elisa looked out of the window, and her mood was similar to that of the first time she went to the operating table.
William looked at her side face and said, “Don’t be nervous. They are all family members. With Bruce and me standing behind you, no one dares to find you unhappy.”
Elisa listened the corners of his mouth and said, “Are you comforting me?”
“Hmm.”
Elisa asked, “Who else is there in the family besides parents to spent the new year?”
“Grandparents, my fourth aunt, and your sister-in-law.”
“Sister-in-law?” Elisa looked at William in surprise.
“My sister.”
“Never heard of you having a sister?”
“Before I took over the Brich Group, the outside world did not know that the Brich family had people other than my eldest brother and me.” William chuckled, “We are not stars, and we don’t need to announce everything to the media.”
“Ooh.”
William raised his chin. “I have photos of Gwen Brich and my grandparents on my mobile phone. You should recognize their faces first.”
Elisa took William’s mobile phone from the storage compartment next to the driver’s seat and opened the photo album.
