While perusing the paperwork, Mr. Brich took the contract and glanced at his assistant, and inquired. “Has the cause of the accident been investigated?”
“The lighting division at the Anderson division was malfunctioning.”
“Are they all temporary workers?” William Brich questioned, frowning.
“This…”
“I will give you time to research, and I’ll give you an hour to tell me everything.”
“Yes.”
His assistant was ready to leave when he noticed him stop and answer his phone. “Is there anything else?” He inquired.
“I just got a call from the front desk indicating that a woman named Allysa would like to see you. She claimed to be a cousin of Dr. Elisa. ”
William Brich’s face remained still. “Allow her to come in.”
“Okay.”
His assistant was well-versed in the art of tea making and went out to fix it.
Following the perusal of the compensation contract, William Brich looked at numerous places.
Brigitte Wayne was one of the few professional ladies he admired, and the contract that could be presented to him should be flawless. Was that a self-evident error, was she deliberately making it, or was it beyond her control?
William was contemplating it when he heard numerous knocks from the office.
“Please come in.”
Allysa was escorted inside the office by his assistant.
William signed and sealed the paper, stating, “Allow Gayle Forest to contact me within one hour. You may return this paper. ”
“Absolutely, sir.”
After pouring a cup of tea for Ms. Allysa, his assistant gathered up the papers and left.
William Brich had his eyes set on Allysa.
Allyssa showed a shy smile to William, and unconsciously stood up her proud chest. “I apologize for disturbing your work.”
“That’s okay. Why did you come over? I did not hear from Elisa. ”
“My cousin forgot. I told her that I would visit her. Didn’t she mention anything about it? ” Allysa hurriedly said. “My cousin was busy at work and may have forgotten.”
Without a doubt, she made up those words.
One option was to brush her existence in front of William. To sully her reputation in front of William. At the same time, she had the potential to earn favor with William.
“What’s wrong? Why did you come here today?” William Brich wondered.
Allysa’s cheeks were flushed with shyness. “After a year, my postgraduate internship began, and I studied business administration. I’d like to apply for an internship with your company. I’m not sure whether I can. ”
“Did you bring your resume?”
“Yes.”
“If you give my assistant your resumé, he will enter your information into the company’s Human Resources system and then propose to you a position that matches your specialization. Can I organize it this way? ”
William had received a resumé from Allysa. When she heard that, her face flushed, but she still smiled and handed in the resumé. “All right, please cousin-in-law.”
“Our firm, on the other hand, is interested in attracting a diverse range of talent, which benefits both sides.” In the lower right corner of his notes, William glanced at the clock. “In 10 minutes, I have a meeting scheduled. You should first speak with my assistant, who will introduce you to the HR department of Brich’s Group. I’ll have lunch with Elisa at noon. Come along if you have time. ”
“Very excellent. I haven’t seen my cousin in a long time, and I miss her. ” Allysa was pleasantly pleased, and she went out with her resume, reluctant to disturb William again.
Allysa couldn’t help but peek up in the direction of William as she closed the office door.
William’s gaze had already been drawn to the notebook screen. Calm temperament, great looks, high-end custom-made suits, and even every hair tip was gorgeous and amazing, to name a few characteristics. The man was so near to her that she appeared to be within his grasp.
She wanted to stand next to him and let him see her in his eyes!
William sneered as he glanced at the stock market trend chart on his computer screen.
Anderson’s stock market value had plummeted by several hundred million dollars in the half-hour since the market opened.

They could arrange an emergency meeting in the morning rather than in the afternoon to explore coping strategies. And he was not going to give them another opportunity! When he thought about it, William Brich’s eyes became like a deep lake, deep and frigid, with no warmth.
Elisa attended a meeting on Daniel Burton’s follow-up treatment plan that was held by the dean in addition to ward rounds one morning. She was only an observer at that level of discussion.
She was listening to the dean and the director as they examined all elements of Daniel’s body injury, as well as the prognosis of postoperative signs and recovery, and developed thorough treatment plans to address any unexpected needs.
She felt her head begin to burn simply by listening, and she dared not be a little distracted. She was wearier after coming down one morning than she was going to the operating table for surgery.
Back at the office, Annie had been carrying a little bag, her face beaming with excitement as she awaited Elisa.
Elisa changed her clothing as well and followed her to the hospital gate. They had hardly stopped for a minute before William’s vehicle approached. Elisa raised her hand to him.
William stopped and went to open the door for them.
Annie knelt and sat in the back seat. When she spotted Allysa, she was taken aback and assumed she was William’s assistant. She grinned and said, “Hello.”
“Allysa?” Elisa said as she glanced around the back of the car.
“Cousin,” Allysa said, poking her head out and smiled, “I went to William’s company today for an interview.”
“Really? Was your interview a success? ”
When Allysa heard it, she was somewhat upset. What did she mean, was the interview a success?
She was, at the very least, a graduate student, and she had difficulties coping with a brief interview.
Was Elisa looking down so much on her?
Despite what she’s thinking, Allysa added with a smile, “It depends on the Interviewee. William did not speak, and so I am not permitted to say anything. ”
Elisa entered the car through the door that William had opened for her. “William must not lose your skills.”
William re-entered the car and inquired of Elisa, “Have you decided what to eat later?”
Elisa thought that it was expensive going out to eat. She explained with a smile. “Could you perhaps find somewhere else to eat?” William’s grin had vanished.
“Eating out is difficult, costly, and not in keeping with your taste.”
“That is true. I will take you to a private Restaurant located nearby. After eating, you may return to work after lunch. ”
“Mm-hm, thank you, William.”
Allysa listened to the two converse, and her heart swelled with contempt. She appeared to have a favorable opinion of Elisa. She wasn’t expecting him to be that shallow.
Annie thought Elisa and William’s conversation was adorable, and a cloud of powder bubbles formed in the air around them.
The Private restaurant was quite close, and the journey took only 10 minutes. It was a tiny highway adjacent to the river, named for the many Ficus micro carpa planted beside the route and river.
