Bruce smiled slightly at the corners of his mouth and slowly cut open the gift box with a knife.
Bruce looked at the jersey and football mini field with delightfully sparkling eyes and a full face of joy.
“Bruce, how about let’s play it sometimes. Your father and I will play with you in our spare time.”
Bruce nodded heavily.
Elisa secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The gift for Bruce is the most expensive shopping that day. After swiping the card, she was still uneasy, and she was afraid Bruce didn’t like it.
Maybe after participating in games or things together, Bruce might open up to her, even a little.
William opened the paper bag and saw the tie inside, and his mouth hooked up.

After a happy meal, the family chatted for a while and digested the food. William took Elisa and Bruce back to the manor.
They also specially put Bruce’s football field fit into the trunk.
After Elisa sat on the Bentley Continent newly changed by William, she said in hindsight, “William, I am sorry, I forgot to buy gifts for your parents today.”
“There are sour products and cakes put by your mother in the trunk. These gifts are more innovative than others.”
“But I didn’t do that.”
“There are plenty of opportunities to send in the future, don’t worry about this time.” William answered.
After the car started, Bruce climbed onto Elisa White’s leg and pillowed his little head in her neck socket.
Elisa patted his little back and let him lean on it.

After driving for more than an hour, the car drove into Round Mountain.
They were already near the manor. Elisa glanced out of the window and found a figure wearing a pink coat and white dress by the roadside.
That dress was very familiar, just like the woman she saw on the wedding day.
Elisa turned to William.
William had no expression on his face. He stepped on the accelerator and galloped away from Natalie Anderson.
Elisa, seeing Natalie’s figure, stiffened, turned away and no longer looked out of the window.
Natalie looked at the disappearance of Bentley Continent, her hands trembling and clenched into fists, and she continued to go in the direction of William.

When the car drove into the yard, Edward and Rebecca were still waiting for them in the yard as last time.
William got out of the car to help Elisa with the door. His parents were very happy to see Bruce sitting on Elisa’s lap.
“Is your lap doing fine?”
“Thank you for your concern, they are alright.” Elisa said, very embarrassed. “I was supposed to bring you gifts but the thought fleets my mind with recent happenings.”
“Not a problem, you being here is a wonderful gift altogether.”
Bruce took out the mini pad and wrote on it: “Mommy bought me a gift too big, that’s why she didn’t buy anything else.”
Seeing that Bruce took the initiative to defend Elisa, William smiled and said, “Grandparents didn’t blame your mommy. Our family doesn’t want anything else. They are satisfied when we often come back to stay.”
William opened the trunk. “Mom and Dad, the in-laws thought they prepared gifts for you two. The cakes were specially made by my mother-in-law today and they are still hot.”
Rebecca couldn’t help complaining. “You child, you also stuffed cakes into the trunk. Will it not reek of gasoline?”
“It comes in a box, and it’s okay it won’t fumigate it.” William said indifferently, moving down all the big boxes of things.
Bruce ran to the side to guard his football field. His servant came and moved twice before moving everything into the house.
Elisa asked Rebecca, “Mom, have you started preparing dinner?”
“Don’t worry about dinner, let William and his father prepare. We women will accompany each other for our girl’s day out.”
Elisa White smiled and said, “Mom, tell me how you tamed them and let me know.”
“Well to be honest both of them are socialites. Though when they come back in the house, it’s like the kitchen’s their fortress of solitude. Where they play and tease each other. I happen to love the scenery of their leisurely fun. And it’s also a blessing that they are comfortable with each other.”
Elisa nodded.
Rebecca took Elisa White’s hand. “The plum blossoms planted last year are blooming. I will show you.”
“Good.” Elisa turned to Bruce, who circled around the football field, and said, “Baby, will you go to see plum blossoms with your mommy and grandmother?”
Bruce crooked his head for a moment, trotted to put his chubby little hand into Elisa’s hand, and looked at Elisa with black and bright eyes.
Elisa gently pinched his little meat hand. “Mom, please lead the way.”
Rebecca looked at the interaction between the two and was very happy. Bruce’s love for Elisa completely exceeded their expectations.
Three of them got out of the main house, they were about to go to the backyard when Natalie Anderson also walked to the yard gate.
Natalie wailed, “Aunt Rebecca.”
Rebecca’s body paused, she embarrassedly looked at Elisa White, and then turned to Natalie, “Natalie, why are you here?”
Natalie didn’t set her eyes on Elisa and went straight to Rebecca. “My parents planted some fresh cosmos, let me send them to you and my uncle for a taste.”
Rebecca did not reach out to pick it up. “William and I also planted it. I won’t bother you to send it again in the future. Besides, walking back and forth is not good for your health.”
Natalie handed over the basket frozen in the air, and it was neither handed over nor taken back.
The atmosphere became rigid for a while.
Elisa saw the tears in Natalie’s eyes, felt that Natalie’s temper was a bit like Ellen’s, and didn’t want to embarrass her. She stretched out her hand and took the basket from Natalie’s hand. “Thank you for sending it here. Mom, Bruce and I will go to the backyard first, and you can talk to this lady.”

Rebecca sighed helplessly and looked at Natalie, “Begone child, William has already made a choice. What’s the point of you doing this?”
“Rebecca, I don’t want to give up.”
“I don’t say who was right and who was wrong before. Things have come to this step. I want to stand on my son’s side. Whoever he chooses will be biased towards. Things have been great for my son. I’ll be standing up for my son no matter what it takes! As to whoever he chooses I’ll respect the latter.”
Natalie’s face was green and white, and her lips trembled violently.
She can’t wait to disappear into the world at that moment.
Rebecca continued, “You don’t have to worry that we will stop cooperating with your family because William got married. You saved Bruce and me, and William’s banquet gave priority to your family on business.”
“I’m not afraid of this. I just …”
Rebecca patted her on the shoulder gently. “I didn’t blame you, and I like you very much. But William has made a choice. I hope you can come out early. You are still young, and there are still many days to come. Don’t spoil your good days. You still have a choice. As long as you can let go of William, everything will come.”
