Elisa White’s family also compared grades with her from time to time, and Elisa was also a schoolmaster who consistently ranked in the top five in her school throughout the year.
Elisa’s life in the first 20 years was the template of life’s winner. However, her reputation started to collapse when she gave up the quota walking abroad for Brandon Helmes.
Elisa’s parents had a hidden assumption that she was thick minded that reading had damaged her mind. However, Emman and Emily never said anything about their child giving up the opportunity to go abroad. When asked by relatives, they simply took a word and did not blame Elisa at all.
And Elisa was married to William Brich at that time.
William was a good husband to Elisa. Some people, even her family, envy and hate her good luck.
Why did Elisa take all the good things on her?
Allysa was as good as Elisa, and her figure was better than hers. Why did William marry a woman like Elisa White?
Allysa looked at William’s face and thought, if he knew about Elisa and Brandon Helmes, would he still want her?
When that thought flashed through her mind, Allysa was stunned. She didn’t expect herself to have such an idea.
Elisa saw Allysa keeping silent, so she pushed her. “What are you staring at? Are you tired?”
“A little tired.” Allysa answered.
“Then go to the guest room and have a rest. I’ll call you before dinner.”
“Then you can have a good chat.”
With that, Allysa stood up and walked to the guest room.
The guest room was at the innermost corner, and Alyssa Paused when she passed by Elisa’s room.
She hesitated at the door, quietly opened the door of Elisa’s room, and walked in softly.
In the room, Bruce was lying in bed, sleeping. After hearing the slight noise, his little body trembled and opened his eyes with vigilance. His little face was very serious. Allysa didn’t expect herself to open the door and come in to see such a scene. She thought Bruce had fallen asleep.
Bruce stared at her with a pair of dark, sharp eyes that were unlike those of a five-year-old child.
Allysa suddenly panicked.
Bruce looked at the panic flashing on Allysa’s face and showed a sarcastic smile that didn’t match his actual age. Allysa was startled and said in a trembling voice, “I have gone to the wrong room.”
After that, she ran out. Bruce jumped out of bed and closed the door.
With courage, she wanted to brush her sense of existence in front of him, which was so stupid that she had no technical content.
Thinking that his family was related to such a woman, she thought that his family was compelling. It was a miracle that she had been with a fool for so long and had not been infected.

They did not eat at home since Elisa’s two families, together with herself and William, with a total of over forty persons were present at lunch.
Emman and Emily hosted lunch at a nearby five-star hotel that time, during which William was still the focus.
Bruce clinged to Elisa, and from time to time, gave her food to eat. People who did not know Elisa would think Bruce was her child because of his attentive and warm demeanor. She ate a few mouthfuls of food that Bruce gave her, so he didn’t keep busy.
He was still a child, and his chopsticks were not smooth, so it was difficult to clip vegetables. She just felt his care.
Emman and Emily were very satisfied when they saw the interaction between Elisa and Bruce. Initially, after hearing about Bruce’s life experience, they pitied him very much. Seeing that a small child was still so sensible that Bruce’s satisfaction was directly written on his face.
If it weren’t for Bruce’s lack of closeness to people outside William and Elisa, Emily wanted to rush up and hug him and chew a few mouthfuls. Who didn’t like such a lovely and sensible child?
Lunch didn’t end until three o’clock in the afternoon, and the men drank a lot of wine.
William was the center of all, and it was the first time to formally see Elisa White’s two families, which naturally became the object of toast.
But there was no sign of drunkenness in his face.
William didn’t lean on Elisa’s shoulder until everyone was sent out of the box.
Elisa smelled the wine on him. “Do you want to open a room here to rest?”
“Let me lean on you and sleep when I go home.”
“Leaders and businessmen, do you usually talk about business like this?”
“Distressed?”
“There seems to be a little.”
Elisa was a little embarrassed and added. “You must take good care of yourself so that I can have countless money to spend.”
William sniffed and chuckled a few times. “I am rarely drunk in the business field at this level, and I seldom accept most of the usual drinks that are offered to me.”
“Then you have worked hard.”
“I have married you, and occasionally I can deal with how hard it is for your relatives.”
Elisa listened to William’s words, and she smiled a few times and felt he said well and reasonably.
She also had to learn some business etiquette and technology and could not behave too much like a wooden stick when she would meet her relatives with William in the future.
After sitting for a while, Emman and Emily sent the last wave of guests.
William sat up straight and smiled. “Have all the guests gone back?”
“They are all sent back. William, are you alright? Do you want a sobering soup from the hotel?” Emily said with care.
“No, I would sober up after walking for a while.”
“Then let’s walk back slowly. The two families are too happy to have a drink. If you feel troublesome, I’ll remind them.”
“They are also happy for me to marry Elisa, so it is okay.”
They walked home slowly from the hotel.
Back home, William went upstairs to Elisa’s room to wash. Emily went to the kitchen and cooked two sobering soups. One for Emman and one for Elisa to deliver to William upstairs.
When Elisa pushed the door and entered the room, William came out of the bathroom with only a bath towel around his body.
Elisa’s face immediately turned red, and she coughed lightly. “William, are you going to tempt me? Or else.”
“When we get to know each other better, I’ll jump to you if you do this.” Elisa added with a smile, putting the sobering soup on the bedside table.
“Mom boiled it for you. You can sleep after drinking it. Before dinner, I’ll come and call you.”
“Where’s Bruce?” William asked and took the soup bowl and drank it slowly.
“He is playing in the small living room on the second floor.”
“Well, his adaptability is better than I thought.”
“That must be because I am too friendly.” Elisa looked at William and showed off ostentatiously.
“I’m embarrassed to refute if you say so.” William finished drinking the sobering soup.
Elisa put away the soup bowl that William drank. “You have a good rest.” After that, she went out with an empty bowl. William changed his pajamas, lifted the quilt, and lay down.
