“Oh my god! Push it harder.” I groaned.
“I am trying.” Bryan said breathlessly.
“Try harder and do it fast.”
“Why don’t you move and help me too?” He huffed, trying to push it deeper.
I smiled slickly, spreading my legs wider on the bed. “Because this is the guy’s job.”
He gritted his teeth and with one last push it finally reached inside. We both exhaled in contentment. “Finally.”
“I told you it was too big to enter.” Bryan said smugly.
I just rolled my eyes. “But it did right?”
“Thank god you two finally managed to push the damn box inside the drawer.” Logan remarked, entering the room.
I stuck out my tongue. “The guest bed and couch are in place?”
He nodded. “Yeah though Alan and Ian did most of it. Since my leg is still unfit.” He grinned haughtily.
“Please it’s been almost two years since that incident and we all know you can run a marathon now.” I snorted, smacking his back.
Logan smirked. “Hey don’t hit an ex-patient. Anyways my wheelchair is in the basement and my stuff in the room.”
“Why?” Ace scowled at Logan.
Logan looked at me in surprise and then at Ace uncomfortably. I shifted on my heels nervously.
Ace looked between us. “What are you two not telling me?”
Logan pleaded me with his eyes for me to break the news. Taking a deep breath I said the sentence in one breath. “YouseeLoganisstayingwithusforafewmonths.”
It took a few seconds for Ace to actually comprehend and when he did, the volcano erupted. “WHAT? He is staying here? With us? Like with you and me? In this house? Now? Why? And when was this decided? Why am I hearing of it now? Where is he sleeping?”
I blinked at the million questions, finally answering the only one I understood. “Um in the guest room?” I replied, playing with my fingers.
He groaned. “Just when I thought we had the whole house to ourselves and no interruptions.” Without waiting for a reply he stepped out of the room, going downstairs, making sure to shut the door behind him with a bang. The universal sign to say I am so pissed and I can’t punch you so let the door endure my anger.
I glanced at Logan ruefully. “Sorry I forgot to tell him.”
Logan sighed. “I can stay in the hostel you know.”
I instantly shook my head. “Nah I promised Connor you would stay with us until Alan and Ian too come here and you three buy a separate house. I don’t break promises.”
“But Bryan?”
I shrugged, waving it off. “He’ll get over it.” I mentally added, I hope so.
We stood there silently until Logan opened his filthy mouth. “I am sure your stock of vanilla condoms will be consumed less since I am here.”
I glared at him. “I think you are better staying at hostel.” I pushed him aside, opening the door and walking downstairs.
Logan followed me. “Chill I’ll make sure I am here only to sleep and maybe eat.”
“Whatever as long as you don’t bring your one night stands here.”
“Bryan would kill me.” Logan grumbled.
“And I wouldn’t stop him.”
“Hey guys! Great house.” Alicia complimented, coming inside. “I am so glad your parents finally allowed you all to get a house and stay on your own.”
“Thanks.” I greeted her by hugging. Our equation had changed drastically since Logan’s accident. We had become close almost good friends. Felt weird for a few months but we have both decided to not let the past affect us.
Whom am I kidding? We still taunt each other.
She hugged back and then went to kiss Ian. That had to be one of the most surprising event, Ian had finally got over Andrea and Alicia over Kian, now they had been dating since six months and seemed perfectly happy. Apparently Alicia was the Arcturus in his sky and had almost blinded him.
“That top kind of makes your nose look smaller.”
I gave Alicia a tight smile. “Yeah you should stop wearing those pants, can barely see your butt.”
Yep, all was good.
Alicia rolled her eyes and went back to kissing Ian. And although I might always mock her, I was really happy for both of them.
The best kind of love is with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.
“Hey the kitchen’s ready.” Janice said, followed by Brittany.
I turned to face them. “Thanks.”
Janice winked at me. “Why is Bryan in a foul mood?”
“I just told him Logan is staying here.”
“You told him now?” Brittany hissed.
“I forgot it in the stress of this new house and arranging all the things.” I lied. I was just too scared about his reaction and he hadn’t disappointed my expectations.
Alan came from behind, patting my back. “He’s just pissed because he can’t have hard and long sensual sex.”
I spurted out air. “Shut up Alan.” I shouted, resisting the urge to break his tongue. He simply laughed at my expense.
The rest of the day went pretty much the same way. Dylan and Janice were caught three times kissing in the hallway. Although they had been dating for almost 1. 5 years they still acted like teenagers feeling boobs for the first time.
On the other hand Brittany and Max had dated for a short period and even though they still liked each other they were too adamant to admit it. So Brittany was dating some German guy in her college and Max was dating an Asian girl in his. And this had only resulted in more problems in their relation.
Alicia and Ian went early because they had some ‘work’ to do. We all knew that work included them naked and under sheets. Alan who had just broken up a few days back with some girl was happily single and Logan who had sworn he wouldn’t date until the wheelchair left his ass was finally searching for a girlfriend and had apparently found someone but refused to tell us. ‘Let me first know if it’s more than wham bam or even thank you ma’am and then I’ll tell you guys.’ Were his exact words.
Connor had proposed June two months back on a deserted beach with candles and sand and even played guitar for her. She had obviously said yes and cried at the sweet proposal. I almost scoffed when I first heard my brother did all this, from when had he become so cheesy and romantic? But apparently he had shot it all in a pretty good camera, it was a pleasant surprise to know my brother could be so loving.
