“Go deeper inside until you hit the spot.”
Ian snorted and I bit my lip in attempt to control my laughter. Oh yes, apparently minds works in a ridiculously dirty way when bored. Mr. Unfamiliar slapped Ian’s back as a warning and I pressed my lips together fighting the bubbling laughter.
“Make sure they reach there. No more drama. I’ll call the others.” Mr. Unfamiliar said to Alan and walked off.
As soon as he disappeared round the corner, Ian and I burst into laughter.
“Go deeper inside.” Ian repeated walking ahead. “We are all going deeper inside, it’s so huge.”
I laughed even more, clutching my stomach. “Shut up Ian and find the spot.”
“Go right.” Alan said from behind us and I detected masked laughter. I didn’t turn around knowing he wouldn’t want me to notice it. Why was he here? Why was he doing this?
Instead I grabbed a guffawing Ian’s hand pulled him and making a right turn. We soon reached an open space behind a wooden door, there were a few chairs and one big throne like seat. Royal blue in color with huge armrests. I blinked at that, what was this, the Queen Victoria era?
Three hefty men with long guns in their hands stood behind the big seat. Their faces static, void of any emotion. The room was filled in dim light but brighter than the room I was tied in.
A scene right from 80s movie. A place where you could get killed and never be found because your body would be thrown over a cliff or buried alive.
I shuddered at the thought. “This is the spot?” My eyes scanned the various paintings hanging on the wall. A naked girl hiding behind a tree, two women and one man on the bed, a naked girl with hands around her private parts, a smiling king surrounded by pretty women. Nothing spiritual or any landscapes. Just naked women and lusty men. How predictable.
“Yup.” Ian answered, nodding his head in greeting to the three bodyguards.
I grabbed a chair and made myself comfortable on it. The right hefty man stepped ahead, his gun pointed at me but Alan stopped him.
“Meeting.” Was the only word he said and the hefty man nodded, returning to his place.
“Wow they are like tamed dogs.” I snorted, unable to hold that comment. Their eyes darkened but all three stayed quiet. Ian let out a strangled laugh and instantly cleared his throat. “Shut up Joanna.” He ordered trying to sound strict and gangster-like but failing miserably. His failed attempt only made me laugh more.
I drummed my fingers on the chair, looking around for a way to escape. There was only one way the same one that we entered from and something told me that if I even moved an inch near the door, the three trained dogs wouldn’t think twice before shooting me in the head. I stopped when I heard footsteps. Figures came into the room in my sight. Four I mentally counted. First to enter was Mr. Unfamiliar, closely followed my Scar-face or Morgan, then Riyaz and finally Blacky. I almost waved at them cheekily. I scowled at Morgan still not forgiving him for hitting Bryan, bloody jackass.
“Stand up.” Mr. Unfamiliar ordered, gazing at me.
I scowled at him. I wasn’t running away because there seemed to no other escape but then I heard the unmistakable sound of footfalls. Looks like the leader is coming. Reluctantly I got up and stuck out my tongue at him. Immature, I know.
The apparent leader came in sight and took the support of the chair so I wouldn’t faint. “Anastasia!” I whispered in complete horror.
She glanced at me and gave an evil smirk, her eyes twinkling with something send a shiver down my spine and it wasn’t a good kind. “Look who’s here!” She stepped gracefully on the step that led to the throne and sat on it. Her arms resting on the armrests. She looked like a queen, a vile, vicious queen a. k. a a bloody fucking bitch!
“What a pleasure to meet you again.” She sighed haughtily, still looking at me.
I gave a dirty look. “I wish I could say the same.”
She gave a straight smile and snapped her fingers. Immediately Alan and Mr. Unfamiliar were besides me on both sides.
“Nice. Like I could run away with those three fat dogs pointing their guns at me.” I nodded at the hefty body builders.
She smiled sweetly, way too sweetly. “I don’t take risks.”
I couldn’t help but mutter ‘scaredy-cat’
She snarled like a cat but wisely kept quiet. My patience was walking on a thin thread and it was going to trip and fall anytime soon. And then everyone was going to regret touching me and my boyfriend.
Patience has never been my best friend.
“So how was your stay here?” she asked, grinning widely.
“Oh fantastic!” I clapped my hands sarcastically. “It’s like I am staying in a 5 star hotel with nothing but stupid people surrounding me.”
She narrowed her eyes at me. “I don’t take well to insults.”
“Oh, it’s wonderful how you instantly assumed you are the stupid I was talking about. But that’s okay.” I waved her off kindly. “Everyone has the right to be stupid, you just abuse the privilege.”
She snarled and Mr. Unfamiliar touched my shoulder to stop me from saying further.
She flipped her hair. “I heard you set her free her, Ian.” She didn’t even look at Ian, instead she was busy staring at her long red painted nails with white design on it. How the fuck did she get time to do nail art? Maybe she could teach me, on second thoughts, hell no!
“No.” Ian shook his head. “I slept.”
“So she freed herself?”
Ian nodded.
“Wasn’t she tightly tied?” Her face finally facing us.
Ian shrugged. “Morgan had tied her.”
Anastasia turned to Morgan who took a step back in terror. “I -uh tied her prop-properly.” He stammered in panic.
I rolled my eyes. Why were they so afraid of this pesky little thing?
“You did? They how the fuck did she free herself?” Anastasia leaned ahead, her voice boomed making us all stagger back. Her eyes were deadly still and huge, her red lips set in a straight line, her nose flaring and her hands rested on the armchairs clutching the sides tightly. Her stance taut and commanding. She seemed seconds away from killing someone.
Oh now I know why everyone’s so scared of her because she behaved like a Megatron, hating everyone.
I cleared my throat, I was the only one who was not almost pissing in the pants. “I thought you left the gang.”
Anastasia turned to me. “I did. But when I came to know that Ace no longer wants me back so I came back into the gang. No one knew about it except the main leaders. When Ace informed the police about our shipment I was fortunately unwell and safe at home. Morgan, Riyaz, Josh and Alan managed to escape too.” She smirked wickedly. “In fact Alan was with you that time.”
I almost broke her perfectly painted nails.
“I couldn’t believe Ace would do such a thing, betray us.” She continued, not fazed by my anger. “We had given him life and then he cheated us. But I loved him so I was ready to forgive him for what all he did. So I met him. Instead of falling into my arms he threatened me. He said if I didn’t tell where every member was he would call the police on me. He betrayed our love.” Her voice rising at ‘our love’.
