In the evening, Austin came home to his entire family to discuss the marriage once more. Austin ran upstairs with anger. He said more than once that he was unwilling to accept such a marriage, but his father felt his attitude was too embarrassing and wrong.
“Don’t you have any manners, Austin? Can’t you see that all the people here are your elders? What is this attitude all about?” His father reprimanded

Chloe found out about this and it made her angrier. She went to Austin’s house to make trouble. Chloe hated me more and more that she even wants to kill me.

“Now that Jack is safe, you can stay by my side with ease. Have you thought about being my girlfriend?” Austin asked again
It happened so suddenly that I haven’t reacted yet. He asked me so suddenly that I couldn’t react immediately. Now I really can’t answer, because my heart is too chaotic, and I just want to see Jack for now. When I got home, I looked at Jack, who was black and blue and I felt so guilty.
Austin came with me since he wanted to see my brother Jack and accompany me in case Chloe pulls another stunt. I can’t refuse him after what he’s done for me and Jack
“Brother Jack, are you all right?”
Jack looked at me and answered gently: “This is nothing since my body is so strong. Who cares about a minor injury?”
“Everything is my fault. If it weren’t for me, Chloe wouldn’t hurt you.”
“No! I am too useless to change anything, and I have to put up with the bullying of others.” Jack quickly retorted my words.
Seeing that he was so seriously injured and still thinking about how to comfort me, I was deeply touched and blamed myself more.
“Brother Jack, do you feel something painful, I will apply the ointment for you.”
Jack forced a smile “It doesn’t hurt. It’s much better now thinking that you’re there to apply my ointment for me.”
There are tears in my eyes. How can it be painless? I just tried to apply Jack’s ointment when Austin pulled me out.
Austin is holding my hand as he said “What are you doing? You can’t apply his ointment.”
“Why not?” I asked.
