Seeing the photos, I was angry. But I controlled my temper and told myself that I had nothing to do with Robie anymore.
“It has nothing to do with me.”
When I went to visit my friend Mary, I accidentally discovered that her boyfriend William was Robie’s friend. So Robie would learn sooner or later that I’m here.
After the comic book exhibition ended, I won the second prize and flew back to London.
At the airport, I saw Robie standing in the most conspicuous place. I didn’t want to face him. So I pulled Niki and rushed to a taxi, but Robie stopped us somehow.
“What’s wrong with you? You left without saying a word, only to come back and ignore me. Did I do something wrong?”
“You know what you did with Fiona, and I don’t want to see you right now.”
However, he was still so savage that he put me in his car and went back to the villa despite Niki’s presence.
Inside the villa on his room
“Well, can you tell me why you are so angry now?”
I sat on the edge of the bed and thought for a few minutes. I sadly said, “Let’s part ways!”
Robie became furious when he heard this sentence. I couldn’t see what he was thinking. When he had Fiona, why didn’t he let go?
“Don’t even think about it!” Robie roared.
The atmosphere began to calm down, he laid beside me, holding me as I slept. When I woke up, he was still asleep, and I went to school early.
When Robie woke up, I was not beside him anymore. Robie asked the housekeeper in a frantic way. He was relieved to know that I had just gone to school. Robie helped me unpack my luggage and saw the trophy inside, which I won at a comic book exhibition.
His wife surely is a treasured girl.
Time flies so fast, and it’s time to leave school again. I’m afraid to face Robie when I arrive home. I didn’t expect to meet Fiona on the road.
I asked, “What can I do for you?”
“I know you are Robie’s wife now, but I hope you can leave him so as not to embarrass yourself.”
“If you are so affectionate, you shouldn’t be driving me away. Let Robie tell me himself.” I retorted.
Although I already know about them, I just don’t want to appear weak in front of her.
She left me, and I couldn’t calm down for a long time. As I passed by the local library I thought ‘why don’t I study here for a while?’ I took out my book to review, and there was a man behind me watching me all the time.
I’m surprised that this man isn’t reading a book. Why is he staring at me?
He’s not a pervert, is he?
“What can I do for you?” i finally asked
“Hello, Miss, I just thought you are an old friend of mine.”
“You have mistaken me for someone else. Sorry, but I’m not your old friend.”
“Then, can you tell me your name?”
Robie suddenly interrupted before I could speak. It turned out that he didn’t find me when he got home, and he went crazy looking for me and even checked in on my friends to find me. We got on the bus and went back to the villa.
Robie asked me, “Who is that man?”
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t know but you are so happy to chat?”
“It’s just a courtesy smile and tone.” i replied
I don’t want to spend anymore time with him. He explained everything to me endlessly, but the frequent flashes of that video and photos in my mind made me unable to believe him. As we argued, Robie left slamming the door and leaving.
Robie and his friends were drinking at the bar, and his friends were puzzled.
His friend couldn’t help but confront him, “Stop drinking! Have you forgotten that Fiona almost set you up last time?”
“You know that I am drunk. Why did you let her drag me to a room?” He asked.
His friend felt that his kindness was not rewarded and said, “It is obvious that you wanted to go with her and now you blame me?”
“She is no longer the girl she used to be. There is still time to solve the misunderstanding between you and your wife.” His friend said.
Robie’s mind is in a mess.
He was drunk as he went back to the villa. I felt someone holding me. I couldn’t break free from it and fell asleep in his arms.
When I woke up the next day, there was no Robie beside me, but I smelled a strong smell of alcohol.
Did he drink last night?
I changed my clothes and went to school.
As I was walking home I met the guy from the library. He introduced himself as Barton and came here to look for his old friend. He was the one who approached me before and said that I looked like his old friend.
He shared his story with me. Fifteen years ago, a girl bravely saved him when he was being chased. At that time, he promised to marry that girl, but after so many years, he still couldn’t find her.
I lived in France before when I was five years old. I wanted to know about my mother but she didn’t want me in the first place.
………….
The next day Barton looked at the street distractedly, and was suddenly attracted by a girl with a red string on her neck.
Barton chased her, but she didn’t expect that girl to be Megan.
He thinks Megan is the girl he was looking for since she is wearing the Crystal Pendant he gave to the girl fifteen years ago.
Megan listened to him and knew that it was me who he was looking for, and she made her own little plan.
She brought Barton to the villa. I didn’t want to meet Megan but I was interested in why she brought Barton here to meet me, so I let them in.
Barton told me all that he wanted to say after learning that I was the girl he is searching for. I could see why Megan would bring him here, she’s hoping that the presence of Barton would disrupt the relationship between me and Robie.
The housekeeper was angry at the two when they finished their tale, so he forced them to leave.
Barton gave me a business card before the housekeeper dragged him and Megan away.
“No matter how long, I will wait for you and take you away from here!” Barton said before completely disappearing in front of me.
Megan came back and threatened me after they left, but I was no longer afraid of her, and when i was near her, i snatched the Crystal away
I thought about the past, and my heart is touched.
The housekeeper told Robie about the previous events while he was gone. He came to me and hugged me, and was explaining several times.
“I have nothing to do with Fiona. You are the only one I love.” Robie said.
“You have to let me go!” I said.
I struggled desperately to break free from his arms, but he wouldn’t budge.
“Stop pushing me away, I will not leave you!” He said.
After an argument, Robie asked his friend to find out if Fiona had done anything to me.
He went to the company, and when he got off the bus, he met Megan.
Robie is greatly disgusted with her and wants to leave right away, but Megan insisted that they talk.
“I’ll give you only a minute, speak”
Megan told him that Barton had come to see me before and wanted to take me away. The housekeeper had also reported this matter to him but Robie was still somewhat dubious.
If I want to go back to France with Barton, Robie will never agree.
At six o’clock in the afternoon, Robie returned to the villa from the company and asked the housekeeper about Barton that day.
