“Who ‘me’?” She was already agitated.
“I.. I’m Harry”
“Harry?” Arien frowned “Where the hell did you get this number?” Arien was about to hung up.
“Wait wait… I just wanted to ask you something.” Harry sounded polite so she decided to listen.
“Go on?” She said.
“Do you know Ace Corp’s president, Mr Ace?” He asked.
“No. How will I know Ace Corporation’s president?” She shouted.
“But….” Harry was saying something but the call was hung up.
“Who’s that?” Devian pushed open the door. He had no intention to interfere but hearing Ace Corp’s president from her mouth he decided to enter.
“Just… A wrong number.” Arien thought that Devian would misunderstand and get angry if she said it was Harry so she said that.
“Whoever he might be, just blacklist the number and don’t keep any contacts with him.” Devian could guess who the person was. But he chose to not bring up the name.
Arien blacklisted the number right away.
“I’m waiting downstairs. Get ready” he rubbed her head and turned to walk out.
Harry was angered so much that his face turned pale. “She hung the phone on me!”
“Ben keep an eye on her.” Harry ordered.
Arien came down, “I’m done.”
Now the relationship between them was no more a secret so they could go to the company together. Thinking that Arien decided to go with him.
Devian was sitting on the sofa, reading his files with utmost concentration.
As soon as he lifted his head he saw her pretty face and was unable to look away.
“Do I have something on my face?” Arien was confused about why he was looking at her like that since morning.
“Yup” Devian walked to her. “It’s blush” he scratched her nose.
“Go away” Arien knew he was teasing her.
They got in the car. “Where has sister gone? She wasn’t in her room.” Arien asked.
When she woke up Arien first knocked on Julien’s room but there was no response. She entered and saw no one there.

In the Paradise café.
Julien sat happily.
In front was a handsome young man whose looks were enough to make people definitely have a glance.
“Finally you’ve time to have a meal with me.” Julien smile as bright as the sun shining outside.
“I have been trying but you know I’m working under your brother. Even if I’m his friend he doesn’t spare me!” Louis Wayne replied jokingly.
“Yeah yeah, I know my brother!” Julien already knew the reason for him being so busy.
Louis was the only close friend Devian had. Unlike Devian, Louis was a cheerful person. He liked being happy.
Everyone knew Louis Wayne as he was specially appointed by Ace Corp’s president, Devian Ace. He had a very high position in the industry and nobody could offend him.
Louis was older than Devian and even his temperament was same as Devian’s sister that was why Julien was much closer to him than the unapproachable Devian.
But only some knew that Louis was a good friend of him. Except for Devian’s family and the Wayne family no one knew about their friendship.
Devian had never looked down on him even if Louis was working under Devian. Hence Louis also never turned him down be it his works or business.
Julien naturally knew Louis since childhood as their families also were in very good terms.
But she didn’t know if her brother would react rationally if she told him about her feelings for him. So she decided to keep quiet until time comes.
Now that her cold younger brother has married, she could tell her family about her and Louis. But before that she had to present their relationship in a better way in front of them.
“So you’re in such a high position already, what are you planning next?” Julien had not properly confessed her feelings but hinted him.
“You’ll know that soon.” Louis replied.
“Huh?” Julien was left in confusion.
“You’re cute” Seeing her adorable look Louis could not help but pinch her nose.
He then stood up and took out a small box from his pocket.
“What are you doing?” Julien still didn’t understand what he said.
He knelt on one leg and opened the box. “I’m planning to marry” he smiled at her.
“Everyone is watching” Julien’s face was turning red. She never expected that he had known her feelings for him so well.
“Will you be my better half?”
He actually proposed her!
Was she dreaming?
“Say yes”…”say yes” everyone watching in the café started shouting.
“Yes” she placed her hand on his and he put the ring in her finger then planted a kiss on it.
“Yeah!” There were claps.
Julien’s face was flushed red like a ripe tomato.
She agreed!
“But….” Julien wanted to say something.
“Miss Julien, I know… I’ll talk. You don’t worry.” Louis held her hand and coaxed her. He knew that she was worried about the approval from her family.
He had cherished their friendship since young. Now that it was time he wanted to make it to the end.
“Okay” Julien blushed.

When they arrived at the Visight company, Arien felt a little awkward because of yesterday’s incident.
Devian held her hand and nodded, “it’s alright.”
Arien gave a reassuring smile and walked into the lift following Devian.
The lift opened at the 18th floor, the sales department and Arien walked out.
She was much confident after Devian had reassured her.
Everyone saw her coming and stood up just like they do when the CEO comes.
Arien felt wired and turned her head.
Devian was still in the lift. He smiled at her and then he pressed the button to his floor.
Just when she walked over to her desk. Dean came to her and said. “Mrs Lyle, since Manager Andrew was fired, director wants to elect a new manager. He has asked if you want to give your name?”
Arien was stunned for a while but then came back to her senses.
“I’ll have to think. Can I tell after the lunch?” Arien knew that if she gave her name Devian would choose her without a second thought but she didn’t want this to happen. This will be like a shortcut
“Yes Mrs Lyle” Dean walked back.
Arien looked around and didn’t see Madonna as well. She knew that this was done by him.
Some others colleague who criticized her in the party came over to her after she seated herself to apologize.
“Mrs Lyle” they stated with trembling voices “We had no idea about your identity, we apologize for offending you yesterday”
“It’s okay, but even if I wasn’t Mrs Lyle you shouldn’t have believed only on some pictures and blame me for seducing someone. You don’t have the right” Arien said calmly.
Arien decided to forgive them as it was not their fault. It was Madonna who manipulated them. But as they decided to believe such a thing, how could she just forget. So she gave them some polite suggestions.
“We won’t repeat it again” they said.
They were happy that she forgave them. They definitely had to be in good terms with her so as to be in safe zone. They didn’t want to offend their CEO.
Arien looked at them with her signature smile and saw a familiar figure in the bunch of colleague.
