I head off to VIP as I always do where I find Jenni, Tristan and Mason.

Jenni ~”Do you want a round of JDs?”
Becca ~”That is a stupid question.”
Jenni ~”You want to walk with me to the bar?”
Tristan ~”There is a bottle here baby.”
Jenni ~”Shut up Tristan, I am going to the bar.”
Becca ~”What’s up?”
Jenni ~”What’s up with you?”
Becca ~”Nothing.”
Jenni ~”It is something.”
Becca ~”It’s nothing.”
Jenni ~”Then why the not so slutty outfit?”

Jenni ~”Then why not sit on Mason’s lap.”

We have our round of JDs and head back to the table. I sit near Mason, but not near enough for him to be all over me.
Mason ~”Are you okay baby?”
Becca ~”Yes, I just don’t feel so well tonight.”
Mason ~”Do you want to go home?”
Becca ~”No I just got here.”
Mason ~”Boss said you are going to run Spangles?”
Becca ~”I am still thinking about it.”
Mason ~”I can ask him if I can help you there.”
Becca ~”He said he does not want you there.”
Mason ~”He did? Why?”
Becca ~”You will constantly try to fuck me.”
Mason ~”What is wrong with that?”
Luckily just then Josh shows up at the table so that I don’t have to answer his stupid ass question.
Josh ~”Sorry ladies but can I steal these two dumb asses.”
I can see Josh staring at me.
Josh ~”Becca do you think we can talk about that business proposal I made.”
Becca ~”You make it sound so formal, but yes.”
Off goes Mason and Tristan to Josh’s office leaving me with butterflies in my stomach. After all the shit we have been through he still has that effect on me.
Jenni ~”Oh I see now what is going on.”
Becca ~”What?”
Jenni ~”It is Josh.”
Becca ~”What about Josh?”
Jenni ~”You want him back.”
Becca ~”No I don’t.”
Jenni ~”I saw the way you two just looked at each other.”
Becca ~”I always look at him that way.”
Jenni ~”No you don’t.”

Becca ~”He want me to run Spangles.”
Jenni ~”Serious?”

Jenni ~”Thank fuck. I don’t want Tristan there.”

Jenni ~”I will dump Mason and you dump Tristan.”

Jenni ~”Yes, it’s a great plan though.”
With that the two of them return to the table.
Mason ~”Boss wants to see you baby.”
I get up and head for Josh’s office, those damn butterflies still messing around in my stomach.

Becca ~”Hey yourself.”
Josh ~”You look beautiful tonight. I hope it’s for me and not Mason.”
Becca ~”You wish.”
Josh ~”I thought you were going to dump his ass?”
Becca ~”Still trying to figure that one out.”
Josh ~”You don’t know how to do you?”
Becca ~”I am glad you find it amusing.”
Josh ~”I have a way out for you.”
Becca ~”What is that?”
Josh ~”Run Spangles for me.”
Becca ~”How is that going to help?”
Josh ~”I don’t approve of employees having relationships with each other.”
Becca ~”So you are kind of bribing me?”
Josh ~”No.”
Becca ~”Yes.”
Josh ~”No I am not.”
Becca ~”Yes you are.”
Josh ~”Okay I am.”
Becca ~”Why?”
Josh ~”I don’t like you being with him.”
Becca ~”Why?”

Becca ~”Run Spangles for you.”

Becca ~”Yes I am. Now break up with Mason for me.”

I turn around to leave his office but he calls me back.
Josh ~”It’s love not like.”
Becca ~”What is?”
Josh ~”Figure it out.”
I know exactly what he means, it’s just something I don’t like to hear because I cannot say it myself.

We spend much of the evening drinking JDs and tequila and in between some dancing as well. What nobody really notice is that for once I am not trashed. I don’t feel like being that trashy girl that dances on the table tonight.
The night starts to wind down and it comes for us to leave.
Mason ~”Must I follow you home baby?”
Becca ~”Not tonight. I really do not feel well.”
Mason ~”You sure? I can grab you something from the store?”
Becca ~”No I will be fine. I think I should just get into bed.”
Mason ~”Will I see you tomorrow?”
Becca ~”Yes I will be here.”
I reluctantly give Mason a hug just as Josh gets into his car and leaves.

I get in my car and I head home.
I can’t stop thinking about him tonight and the butterflies that he still makes me feel.
Finally I get home and unlock my door, I step in and kick my shoes off.
Josh ~”What are you doing here?”
