I don’t know what I am doing anymore…I feel my life is totally out of control…Maybe I should move back home…Things between me and Josh are a total mess and I don’t think that a normal relationship is possible at all anymore…I really do miss him…guess there goes another failed plan.

Becca ~”Sammy I am leaving now, will see you in a couple of hours.”
I am on my way home for Sammy’s big reveal…At least I know this time that Josh won’t be there…
After a long slow drive I finally pull up to my home…I am spending some time with my parents while I am up here.
Becca ~”Hey Mom, Hey Dad.”
Becca’s Dad ~”Hey pumpkin.”
I know Dad has called me that since I was about six, now I just hate the word.
Becca’s Mom ~”Hey honey.”
Becca’s Dad ~”How was the drive?”
Becca ~”Good Dad, nothing interesting.”
Becca’s Mom ~”Where is Josh?”
Becca ~”Mom! What did I tell you about that?”
Becca’s Mom ~”I thought that maybe you would have changed your mind.”
We head inside and I go up to my room to unpack…I phone Sammy.
Becca ~”Hey Sammy.”
Sammy ~”Hey Babe. Are you here?”
Becca ~”Just got here. So what are the plans?”
Sammy ~”Having a get-together later. Bring your stuff over and we can get ready here.”
It put my phone down and quickly pack what I need…then I get a message.
Josh ~”Becca I love you…I cannot do this anymore…you are slowly killing me inside…you are not giving us a chance…you don’t want to listen to me…you are dooming our relationship before it has even started… I will always care about you…please take care…I love you pumpkin…I am going to miss your “urgh”…I am sorry for the message but you refuse to call or see me.”
I burst into tears and throw my head into the pillows on the bed…I shout as load as I can and let all my pain out…he is right…I blew it…Why the f*ck do I have to be so bloody stubborn…I love him and now I have lost him…nice going Becca!
I text Sammy.
Becca ~”How much time do we have?”
Sammy ~”Plenty. Why?”
Becca ~”I am on my way.”
On my way to Sammy, I quickly stop at the store to pick up a few things.
Sammy ~”Hey Babe.”
Becca ~”Hey Sammy.”
I run and give Sammy a big hug.
Becca ~”Oh I have missed you so much!”
Sammy ~”Are you okay? You look like you have been crying.”
Becca ~”Ag that is nothing. Just boy trouble.”
Sammy ~”Mr Stephens?”
We both laugh and I head upstairs to Sammy’s room.
Sammy ~”So what was the emergency?”
I pull out the things I have bought from the store.
Sammy ~”Are you serious? Did Mr Stephens change is preferences in women?”
Becca ~”Josh does not want me anymore.”
I hand her my phone and she reads Josh’s message.
Sammy ~”So what is this going to help you?”
Becca ~”I just need a change.”
Sammy ~”Oh Becca. Let’s do this!”
A few hours later I am ready for my own reveal.
Becca ~”I have always preferred being a blonde.”
Sammy ~”Honey you look gorgeous. Josh is an idiot. I don’t even think he would recognize you.”
Becca ~”So what do we wear?”
Sammy ~ “Something white and a bathing suit. Come Johno is waiting outside.”
We get to the pool and there are quite a few people here…what is Sammy going to reveal that is so important…she never hides things from me.
Becca ~”Johno! Hey babe!”
Johno looks at me funny and then looks at Sammy…Sammy bursts out laughing.
Sammy ~”Johno it is Becca.”
Johno ~”Hey babe. F*ck you look good, I had no idea it was you!”
Sammy ~”She has always been a blonde.”
Becca ~”So come on guys what is going on here?”
Sammy ~”Was my Mom’s idea…”
Becca ~”But why invite half the city?”
Sammy ~”It is only people that are coming to the wedding that are here.”
Becca ~”I am going to grab a drink, you want one babe?”
Sammy ~”No I am still good with this one.”
Becca ~”Sammy what is going on? This is not you…you don’t do grand. We have never had secrets from each other.”
Sammy ~”Becca I am so scared. A year ago I never thought I will get married and now I am getting married in a month’s time. I love Johno but I am really scared.”
Becca ~”But this is not what all this is about?”
Sammy ~”No babe. My Mom is making a big deal out of this for nothing.”
Becca ~”Your Mom has always been a bit over the top.”
Sammy ~”Becca I am…”
Just then Sammy’s Mom calls for everyone’s attention.
Sammy’s Mom ~”Thank you all for joining us today, we thought we would have this little get together to announce two important bits of news…Johno you would like to continue.”
Johno ~”Thanks Becca’s Mom for putting me on the spot.”
Everybody bursts out laughing but Sammy is dead quiet…I hold her hand tight as I stand next to her.
Johno ~”As you all know that me and Sammy are getting married but what you don’t know is that is now happening in exactly a month from now…so no pressure. As of yesterday, officially we are happy to announce that in seven or so months we will bring the heir of all of this fanciness into the world.”
Sammy bursts out crying.
Becca ~”Sammy. OMG you are pregnant!”
Sammy is busy crying her heart out…I am not sure if it is because she is happy or sad…All I know is that she is scared.
I can’t believe that she has not told me about this…I feel a little hurt…but this is not about me…this is about her.
Becca ~”Babe is there anything I can get you?”
Sammy ~”My Mom said I can have one glass of wine today. I think I will take it now.”
I head off to the bar to get myself a drink and Sammy her wine.
Johno is standing off by the side surrounded by a bunch of guys…I recognise two of them from Teazers…I smile at Johno…He looks so happy.
Becca ~”Here you go babe.”
Sammy ~”Thanks Becca. Can we talk later about why I never told you. I don’t want to cry again now.”
Becca ~”Of course babe. I still don’t understand why Becca’s Mom has made such a big deal about all of this.”
Sammy ~”I don’t know, I know she is up to something else.”
Becca ~”But nobody dares to ask?”
Sammy ~”Exactly!”
Becca ~”So how are you feeling about all of this?”
Sammy ~”I was over the moon when Johno asked me to marry him. And now we having a baby. I am shit scared. I can’t even go to the toilet then my Mom is there. She is driving me insane!”
Becca ~”But the wedding in a month’s time? Wait it is your Mom’s idea?”
Sammy ~”Exactly!”
Becca ~”And Johno’s stripper buddies? Don’t tell me you are having your bachelorette tonight as well?”
We both burst out laughing.
Sammy ~”Babe I don’t want the wedding so soon but my Mom does not want to listen.”
Becca ~”I guess she is thinking that you are going to be too big later.”
Sammy ~”Just hold on there! How big am I going to get?”
Becca ~”I am not going to answer that. Do you miss the city?”
Sammy ~”Yes! I swear if I have another tea party then I am going to lose my nuts! Honestly, Johno is not really happy here. I feel bad I dragged him out of his life into this.”
Becca ~”F*ck we have come a long way in this past year!”
Sammy ~”Come lets got to the bar for some cocktails. Enough morbid shit for now.”
Becca ~”Please don’t tell me there is a slumber party later?”
Sammy ~”I told my Mom I would kill her if she dared!”
Becca ~”You never said why the yummy boys are here?”
Sammy ~”They are Johno’s best men.”
Sammy ~”My Mom thought it would be nice to invite them.”
Becca ~”So all these people here are going to be at the wedding.”
Sammy ~”Yup all of these. I have something nice planned for me, you, Bev and Johno’s sister.”
Becca ~”Johno has a sister?”
Sammy ~”Yes a very pretty girl, she is here somewhere. She is only nineteen.”
You look at Johno talking to his friends…OMG the one is Damon, the other I have not seen before…this is going to be interesting…
Sammy ~”Becca! Becca! Becca, are you listening to me?”
Becca ~”Sorry, yes.”
Sammy ~”Are you drooling?”
Becca ~”Just admiring the view that is Damon.”
Sammy ~”You know Damon?”
Becca ~”Yes kind of.”
Sammy ~”OMG don’t tell me!”
Becca ~”No!”
Sammy ~”I want the details later!”
Becca ~”You might not like it!”
Then there is a pretty young girl that joins us.
Sammy ~”Becca this is Donna, Johno’s sister.”
Becca ~”Hey Donna.”
Donna ~”Hey Becca. I have heard a lot about you.”
Becca ~”Why would Johno talk about me?”
Donna ~”No it is his boss. Mark Stephens I think.”
Becca ~”Oh that one is definitely a creep.”
You can vaguely hear Johno’s conversation but do not really pay attention to it.
Damon ~”The one perk of being a best man is the bridesmaids.”
Johno ~”Dude if you love your hands you keep them off my sister.”
Damon ~”The blonde is not off limits, is she?”
Johno ~”She is a feisty one, you going to have to work for it.”
Josh ~”She is damn hot! I would love to pin her against a wall with her legs wrapped around my waist.”
Damon ~”I can think of a few other things I want do to her.”
Josh ~”She has one tight hot ass on her…wonder what else is so tight.”
Johno ~”Boys stop drooling, I will go introduce you.”
You stand next to Sammy at the bar not noticing Johno and his group come over.
Johno ~”Ladies, these boys are drooling. Now my lady is taken. And I break the kneecaps of the one that touches my sister. Babe it only leaves you.”
Becca ~”Urgh! Johno! I am not a prostitute!”
