Draven was pacing outside the room with stress to accompany him, waiting for Ozrain as usual. It seems that ‘pacing’ is their family’s trademark.
“So?” he asked once the white-haired man came out.
“Well, she had eaten and regained her strength. I have said what I wanted to say. There is nothing more left for me, here. I’m leaving for the Samrat Kingdom. It’s time for me to face my responsibilities and even the accounts. Could you arrange a motorboat for me, please?” Draven nodded to Ozrain’s request.
Back in the room, Selena’s wailing of pain hasn’t subsided
“She didn’t die from an accident, Zaden. It was a suicide. It was a fucking suicide to save me!!!” Zaden couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything to contain her agony. She needs this, a much needed moment to expel her pain
“Let it all out, baby girl… When you are done, I will be here” he rocked her back and forth. It took her a whole, solid 30 minutes for her to finally calm down, still letting out a tiny sob as drops of tears fall down once in a while.
Zaden returned to the room with a glass of water. Selena took a few sips out of the cup.
“The worst has passed, Selena. Ozrain is done packing, he is not taking you away.” Zaden said with a smile. Selena’s eye snapped up from the rim of her glass with an unrecognized fierce.
“We have been worrying for no reason all this while…” he sighed out in relief, but it didn’t last long.
Selena shot up from her bed in a flash and walked out of the room. Zaden followed her in a hurry. She climbed down the stairs in a hunch, towards a living hall she remembered passing a few days ago. There, Ozrain was saying his farewells as he released Draven from his hug. Selena strode directly to him and grabbed his collar in her fist.
“And where do you think you are going?” She asked in anger. Ozrain, who was never had been treated in such a way, stood there shocked, glaring at Selena but his feet remained steadily anchored to the floor.
“You think you can walk in here, confess to me that you and your lover are behind all my pain, then just walk out from here casually?” By now Zaden has hugged her from behind, not in love, but to restrain her into his cage of embrace. She had to let go of his collar but her anger still fuming.
“Elisa’s death is the reason behind all this. She reincarnated as me because her life ended in the most painful way imaginable. My mother paid the debt to protect me. Elisa’s death and your failure to protect her is the root cause of my life turning upside down. You owe me!!! You owe me big time and you are not going anywhere.” She shouted at Ozrain, next to Draven, who is also shocked by their little Luna’s fury.
Her struggle in Zaden’s hands subsided just a tad as she relaxed her shoulders and looked up at his, huffing a breath.
“You said you were looking for me the past 200 years, right?” She seemed to have toned down and Ozrain nodded, still glaring at her
“Now you have found me. What you have brought for your long-lost child?” she cocked her eyebrows, challenging the King himself. Ozrain thrust his hands into his pant pockets and chinned up, still glaring under his eyes.
“I’m standing in front of you as a millionaire, my dear angel. I can buy you the whole world. What you want?” he asked, resulting in a smirk on Selena’s lips. A smirk out of place, shots chills down one’s spine.
“Elisa’s murderer. Can you bring him for me?” Zaden snapped his head to Selena. She is blowing and feeding the fire that has resided. Ozrain huffed a breath by his nose and smirked
“With pleasure”
