I just finished preparing the breakfast for her. I made her favorite chocolate shake with some sandwiches. I made sure to write my message on the top of the sandwich bread neatly so that she can read it without any difficulty.
I went upstairs and saw Daniel and Soaf sitting on the bed. Soaf was clutching her stomach by her one hand while pressing the other on her forehead. I knew she would have a headache since it was the first time she got drunk. She still didn’t tell me why. But I’ll make sure to find the reason. She’s not a girl who will do such things under influence. It has to have a good reason behind her getting drunk.
I saw him tugging a strand of her hair behind her ear. I felt like something is pinching me.
I went inside and sat beside her.
“Good morning princess.” I greeted her while placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
I completely ignored the presence of Daniel and continued.
“How are you feeling now?” I asked in a very gentle tone.
She lifted her gaze up shyly. I saw her cheeks turning into a shade of light pink. She was blushing or atleast it seems so.
She blinked her eyes and then answered
“I’m having a headache”
“Umm…. I have the medicine but before that you should have some breakfast” I said giving her a small smile.
“Okay then. Let’s go Kim. I’ll prepare some breakfast and I also have the medicine. Let’s go to my house.” Daniel said holding her hands while helping her to stand up. Anger and annoyance was displayed wide and loud on his face.
Soaf nodded. I clenched my fist and glared at him while he was smirking.
No. Not again. This is the second time my plan got ruined. I cannot let that happen. I have to ask her. Now. All this cannot go in vain.
Soaf and Daniel were already stepping down the stairs by the time I came into my senses. I rushed towards them and said “princess, I already prepared breakfast for you” I was panting by the time.
“Thanks but we don’t need that” Daniel replied with a stern look on his face. He was clearly irritated.
Soaf turned towards him and whispered something to him. She finally faced me and smiled.
“I’ll have it, Ray.”
I sighed in relief.
Thank god. I still have a chance.
“I’ll wait for you outside. Okay?” Daniel asked Soaf while she nodded in reply.
I asked her to wait in the dining room while I went to the kitchen to get her the breakfast.
As soon as I started walking towards the dining room I realized I was sweating. My hands were cold and my heart skipped beats.
Come on man. You can do this. Why are you so nervous? It’s nothing new. You can do this.
I reached the dining hall and placed the tray on the table and then waited for her to say something.
She finally looked down and saw what I wrote on the sandwiches.
She lifted her head slowly and finally her gaze met mine.
She was………… confused?
She furrowed her eyebrows together and tensed her forehead. Okay, so now I can tell she’s clearly confused.
She took a deep breath and again read it. Then finally she said
“You want me to be your girlfriend?”
