Damon’s POV
I wonder what’s taking that nerd too long. I already told her to go here after her class and look at her, she’s already one minute late!
I heaved a sigh as I stood up from my swivel chair. I took my coat and wore it before reaching for my phone and put it inside my pocket. “Edward. Just tell Jenny to put all the papers above my desk. I’ll check it all tomorrow.”
“I understand, Mr. Furlord.”
I went straight to my car as soon as I got to step out of my company building. She’s really dead now. I’ll ask her to buy me ice cream.
‘Oh my God!’
‘Is that Damon Furlord?’
‘That’s Damon! For sure he’s here again to meet his girlfriend!’
Everyone started mumbling again as soon as I stepped out of my car. I looked at the group of students standing at the entrance of their University and smiled at them.
‘Ah! He smiled at me! Damon smiled at me!”
‘Are you blind?! He was looking at me!’
Now, where is that nerd again? Does she think she can just ignore my orders like that?!
“Hahaha! You really are so funny, Jake!”
“Why? I’m just stating the fact! Hahaha!”
When I heard that familiar laugh, I immediately turned around and there I saw nerdy laughing her lungs out with her friend and that asshole who went to Eris’ wedding. I balled into a fist as I walked towards them. Oh, so this is why she’s taking too long whenever I ask her to go to my company after her class, huh?
“Hey babe!” I yelled and they all shifted their attention to me. Nerdy got surprised upon seeing me.
“D-Damon…”
“Looks like you’re having so much fun with your friends, huh? You even forget that we have a date today.” I said with gritted teeth.
“D-Date?”
I glared at her. “I already told you about that this morning, right?”
“But I don’t—
“Let’s go now.” I said as I grabbed her hand.
“D-Damon wait—B-Bye Natalie, Bye Jake!”
“Bye Sunny and Damon!”
She even waved goodbye to that man. I glanced once more at him and I just realized that he was glaring at me too. What’s the problem with that asshole?
“So that’ the reason why you didn’t go to my company after your class?” I said to her when we’re finally inside my car.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t remember.” she just replied.
“You didn’t remember or because you’re having too much fun with that man?”
She looked at me. “What did you say?”
“Nothing. Just make sure you’ll have enough money to treat me some food.”
“W-What?! H-Hey I’m not as rich as you! Are you out of your mind?!”
“It’s your fault. You didn’t go to my office and I was the one who came and picked you up instead.”
“I told you, I just forgot too—
“I don’t care. It’s your fault, you shouldn’t have wasted so much time flirting with that asshole.”
She glared at me. “I’m not flirting with Jared!”
“Oh really? That’s why you were so happy when I saw you there at the University?”
“I said—
“Shut up. I don’t care about your excuses anymore. You can just choose, treat me dinner, or I’ll sue you?”
She rolled her eyes as she leaned on her seat looking obviously pissed. “Just make sure the food you’ll order isn’t expensive! I only have $500 in my wallet!”
“It’s alright, I’m not that big-eater anyway.”
Sunny’s POV
My mouth went open while I was watching Damon eating all the food that I ordered in one go. “Tell me, have you eaten your breakfast today? Or maybe, you didn’t eat for one week?”
“Huh? I ate my breakfast today. But these steaks are really delicious!” he said while eating the steak on my plate.
Look at this man. He’s a CEO and has a limitless amount of money in his wallet but eats like a poor beggar who hasn’t eaten for centuries.
“Then you’ll treat me some ice cream, right?”
“W-What? Hey! I don’t have so much money left! I still have to save some money to buy the book I’ve been dying to read!!”
“I don’t care, you owe me this so you have to face your punishment.”
“Look, I only have $150 here, okay?”
He smiled while wiping his mouth with a napkin. “See? You still have some money so let’s spend it all!”
And yes, since this childish devil loves taking all that I have, he was able to spend all of my money and left nothing but a single hairclip in my wallet. “So, are you happy now? You were able to spend all of my money.”
“That’s what you get for disobeying my orders.” He replied.
“I told you! I just forgot to go there!”
“And that’s not my problem anymore.”
I should’ve told the restaurant crews to put some poison in the steak.
