Sunny’s POV
“Good Morning, Sunny!” Jared greeted me as soon as I stepped inside our University’s entrance.
I looked at him as I fixed my glasses. “Good Morning, looks like you’re in a good mood today, huh?”
“Of course, I am, especially because I already saw you.” He smiled.
“I didn’t have a good sleep Jared so stay away from me.” I joked.
“Huh? But why? Is there something bugging you?”
I shook my head. “Nothing, really. I just had a nightmare.”
“A nightmare about what?”
“A monster, a very awful monster.”
“Really? That’s creepy then. Want to grab some coffee? My treat.”
“Really? Sure!”
At least I have someone like Jared who’s so good to me. Unlike that demonic monster who did nothing but to ruin my day.
Speaking of that bastard. I just had a dream about him telling me that I will never find someone who will love me. The sound of his laughter creeped the shit out of me and I was catching my breath when I woke up. That stupid moron really bugs me off even when he’s not around me.
“You know what, Sunny? I’m just thinking why Damon doesn’t usually send you home or send you here in our school. I mean, that’s what a boyfriend supposed to be doing, right?”
“Huh? W-Well, he’s always busy with his work that’s why he doesn’t send me here more often and besides, I’m alright with going here alone anyway.”
He shrugged. “By the way, why didn’t you tell me that you already have a boyfriend when we first met?”
“You didn’t ask me though.” I replied. “By the way, do you have a girlfriend? Oh, I bet you do. You’re a popstar and you’re always with beautiful women so it’s impossible for you to be single.”
“You’re wrong. Even though I’m always with different girls, I’m still single. Those women in my industry who works with me were just acting, I don’t really like girls who only smiles when cameras are on their faces. I like girls who are real and brave. I like girls like…you.” He said while looking at me and I almost choke from the pizza that I was eating. “H-Hey, are you okay? Here’s the water.”
I took the glass of water from his hand and drunk it. “God, Jared. Can you stop using your cheesy movie lines to me? That won’t work with me, dumbass.”
“Hahaha! Well, I thought so.”
“By the way, shall we go to our class? For sure Mr. Fortman wouldn’t like it if we arrive there late.”
“Right. By the way, can you come closer to me?” he said while looking at me.
I wrinkled my brows at him. “Huh?”
He suddenly moved his face closer to me. He raised his hand and all of a sudden, he wiped the corner of my lips with his thumb. “You got some sauce on your lips.” He said when he finally moved away.
“R-Really? Y-You could’ve just told me, you know.”
“I didn’t want to. Hahaha! Can you wait for me here? I’ll just go to the men’s room.”
“Huh? Alright, it’s still kind of early anyway and I also want to eat all of these.”
He pinched my cheeks before standing up. “Alright then, excuse me for a while.”
“Okay.”
I watched him as he started walking away from me. You know what? Jared is nice but he’s weird sometimes. I think that’s the perks of being a popstar. No one even knows him here. Sometimes I wonder if people are blind or they’re just idiots. I mean, who wouldn’t know that it was Jared when all he did was to wear a wig and wear a thick eyeglass?
“Hey Sunny Peruvian, am I right? You’re Sunny?”
Just when I was about to eat my pizza, three red-haired women suddenly approached me. They look like hens. They were all wearing the same uniform as me except from their skirts were far shorter than mine. “Y-Yeah, I’m Sunny. D-Do I know you?”
“Oh really, you’re asking me that? Don’t you remember me anymore, huh?”
I stared at the woman in the middle who’s glaring at me as if I took something away from her. “Y-You are that woman at D-Damon’s office?”
“That’s right, I knew you would remember me.”
“Oh, how can’t I remember you when you told me that I looked like a janitress.” I said while laughing.
She laughed sarcastically together with her friends. God, the sound of their laughter reminds me of the villain in the Barbie Swan Lake movie. “Yeah right. Because you really look like a janitress, right girls?”
“Uh-huh.”
“What?”
“Sunny Peruvian, if you’re thinking that you can take Damon away from me, then you’re wrong. I’m so sure that you’re not his type. Duh, Damon doesn’t like women with such flat chest!”
How dare this chicken insult me and my boobs!
I stood up and glared at her. “Hey you, red-haired hen. If you are here to insult me and disturb me from eating, may I just remind you that I have no time to waste on you. If you are complaining about me being Damon’s girlfriend, then you should complain to him instead.”
“Huh, so you really have the bravery? Just because you are his girlfriend, already means that you can just act like that in front of me!”
I rolled my eyes in frustration. “I still have classes, so please if you excuse me.”
I was about to walk away from them when someone suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me back. “I’m not done with you yet, you snake!”
“What the hell do you want from me?!” I snarled.
“I want you to leave Damon alone!”
“I told you, he should be the one you’re complaining to. Tell him to leave me alone, okay? Now let go of me!”
“No!”
I looked at her. “I said let go of me before I can even punch your face.”
“What did you say?! How dare you say that to me?! Do you really want to—
“Sunny!”
I looked to my right side and there was Jared running towards us with a worried look on his face. The woman immediately let go of my hand. “We’re not done yet, you nerdy snake.” She said then walked away together with her girls.
