Sunny’s POV
“So, how’s your relationship with Damon Furlord going?” asked Natalie while we were eating inside the school cafeteria. My sister and Henry went back to Paris to visit Henry’s grandparents and also to have their honeymoon there. And so here I am, going back to my usual boring life.
“Well, we’re fine. Unfortunately, he’s still alive.”
Natalie laughed. “You know what, Sunny? You really are so funny hahaha! I’ve never seen a couple like you. Mostly, couples love to cling into each other’s arms and make out even in front of everybody while you and Damon, you just keep on teasing and mocking each other.”
“Hehe… that’s right, we’re different.”
Because we’re not really in a relationship, we’re enemies.
“Sunny.”
I looked up when someone suddenly called my name with a familiar voice. Why do people love calling me when I’m eating?!
My eyes widened when I saw who it was. “Jare—
“Jake Knight.” he said while glancing at Natalie.
I nodded and looked at him again. “Y-Yeah, Jake. What are you doing here? I mean, why are you wearing the same uniform as me?”
“I’m studying here.” He replied.
“Y-You’re studying here?!”
“Yes. I just actually transferred here, and we’re classmates.”
Natalie kept on looking alternately at me and Jared as if she was confused. “S-Sunny, do you know this man?”
“Oh, I’m so sorry Nat. By the way, this is Jar—I mean, Jake. Jake, this is Natalie, my best friend.”
“Hi, Natalie. I’m Jake Knight.” Jared reached for Natalie’s hand and she accepted it.
“H-Hi, I’m Natalie.”
“It’s nice meeting you. By the way Sunny, can you go with me for a while? I have something to tell you.”
I looked at Natalie. “I’m sorry Natalie, I’ll just go with him for a while, okay?”
“Yeah, s-sure. I’ll just wait for you inside our classroom.”
“Thank You.”

“So, you’re studying here?” I asked Jared while we were walking towards the school garden.
“That’s right, I just transferred yesterday and I just knew that you’re actually my classmate. I’m so happy that I can get to know you more, Sunny!” he said with a huge smile on his face.
I smiled awkwardly. “Well, there’s nothing interesting about me though.”
“Your boyfriend Damon, he’s not studying here?”
“Huh? No, he’s already done studying.”
“Oh right, he’s already a multimillionaire CEO anyway.”
A multimillionaire who can’t even spare a poor writer who used his ugly photo.
“Can we go home together later?” Jared suddenly asked.
“Sure, but Natalie would go with us too.”
“That’s alright with me.”
Alright, I think it’s time to start a new beginning. I need to move on from Henry and live a new life with my new friends. I’m getting better I think, at least I found new friends. I am no longer the lonely Sun anymore.
Damon’s POV
“What took you so long to buy me an iced coffee?!!” I yelled at nerdy as soon as she arrived in my office holding five iced coffees in her hand. Her hair was all over her face and I couldn’t help but to laugh by the way she looks.
She glared at me after putting the iced coffees above my desk. “Do you know how high this building is?! And guess what?! I’m busy talking with my editor when you suddenly texted me and asked me to buy those damn coffee even when you have your own personal secretary!!”
That’s right, I felt bored that’s why I texted her. I really love teasing this woman. She looks like a panda whenever she gets angry. I crossed my arm and looked at her exhausted face. “Do you have any complaints with that? If only you didn’t use my—
“Right! I know what you’re going to say already, okay?!”
“That’s good for you then.”
“May I leave now, your highness?” she asked, obviously pissed. Ah, how I love pissing her off.
I drunk some of the iced coffee before speaking again. “I guess I no longer want an iced coffee, can you just make some coffee for me instead? I mean, the hot one.”
“W-What?!”
“Sorry, I just realized that I want a hot coffee. Can you make one for me, please?”
She rolled her eyes as she started walking towards the door. “I hope you burn in hell.” I heard her mumbled.
“Did you just say something, nerdy?”
“H-Huh? No, I didn’t say anything your highness!” she said then she ran outside.
I laughed as soon as she left. That woman is really funny.
“Mr. Furlord.” Edward suddenly came in.
I immediately erased the smile on my face. “What is it, Edward?”
“Miss Kayla is here.”
I heaved a sigh. “Tell her I’m not here.”
“I understand, Mr. Furlord.” Edward said before leaving me there.
That woman keeps on bugging me every single time. I just had a one-night stand with her before and she already thinks that I’m her boyfriend. What a pathetic woman. It’s not as if she’s the only woman I had sex with. “Here’s your coffee, your highness!”
“Why are you always yelling when you’re talking to me?”
“Why? How do you want me to speak to you?”
“Just talk like a sweet girl. The way someone talks to their master.”
She rolled her eyes. “I have to go now, I still need to do my homework so please don’t you dare call me again in the middle of the night just to buy you an ice cream!”
“Wait, I’m not done with you yet, nerdy!”
“What else do you want?!!”
“H-Hey! Don’t talk to me like that!”
She looked at me. “What else do you want, young master?”
“Drink that coffee first.”
“What?”
“I don’t know if you put some poison in that coffee so you have to taste it first.”
“If only I could really do that, I’d love to.” She said as she reached for my mug.
