“Are you hungry?” Calvin didn’t seem to want to talk about the subject, he kissed my hand and asked.
“Yes.” As soon as I got up, Calvin walked me home, there were only a few sandwiches and milk in the car.
“Auntie cooked.”
After dinner, I looked at the clock. It was after twelve o’clock. Today I have to go to the hospital to visit my mother. Besides, I’m going to Anni’s. Andy said Anni had gone home.
“Are you going out?” Calvin came out of the study and frowned when he saw me walk out with a bag. “You just got home, didn’t you?”
“I’m going to my mom’s and then Annie’s.” I looked at Calvin.
“I’ll walk with you!” Calvin walked over.
“No, I can go by myself!” I quickly declined.
“Don’t you like me?” Calvin winked.
“Well, come on!” I was helpless.
Calvin then happily approached me and helped me carry the bag.
Calvin was driving alone, and my mother was clearly happy to see me and Calvin together. But she purposely let Calvin go because she wanted to tell me something.
I blushed when she came out of the station, and Calvin asked, “What did your mother say?”
“Nothing!” I said sheepishly.
I never thought my mother knew everything and knew I was hiding, but she didn’t say anything, she just wanted me to have my own time to think.
Calvin didn’t inquire further, “Where are you going now? To your classmate’s house?”
“I’ll go later, now Anni might be taking a nap.” I looked thoughtfully at the clock and dialed Andy’s phone.
“Alexia, are you back?” Andy quickly answered the phone. Today is a work day. She’s obviously at work and should be at dinner.
“Are you free tonight? Are we going to Anni’s together?”
“No, it’s not appropriate to go in the evening. Let’s go in the morning. I’ll take half a day off.”
“Fine, we’ll check in tomorrow then.” I hung up the phone.
“Where are you going now?” asked Calvin.
“Where do you think you’re going? I don’t have to go anywhere?” I asked, answering.
“Then go home!” Calvin started the car and drove out of the hospital.
“Don’t you have to go to work today and Tuesday?” I wondered why Calvin was too free on those two days.
“Warren filled in for me. I’ve been resting for two days,” Calvin said in a low voice.
“And then you go back and take a nap?” I asked.
“No!” Calvin looked at me, “Do something else.”
“What’s wrong?” I had a bad feeling.
“Go back and tell yourself!” Calvin smiled wickedly.
My eyelids twitched harder, but I couldn’t ask directly. If it wasn’t as I thought, I would surely be laughed at by Calvin.
Still, I underestimated Calvin’s interest.
As soon as he got home, he couldn’t wait to take my clothes off. I was embarrassed and annoyed, “What are you doing, it’s still daytime!”
“There’s no rule that says you can’t do it during the day!” Calvin finished his speech and threw me on the floor.
After the exercise, Calvin was finally satisfied and I was free.
That’s how the whole afternoon passes. In the evening, we cook our own food and go for a walk after dinner. This life is like that of an old married couple.
Of course, I think it would be better if Calvin were less enthusiastic.
However, it turns out that I was still too naive. After a walk, I was overwhelmed by Calvin again.
This time, I was too tired. In the end, I didn’t even have the strength to fight back. All I could do was let him do what he wanted, and it didn’t end until midnight.
When I woke up the next day, Calvin left me a message saying he was going into the office and would be back for lunch.
I quickly picked up the phone and saw Andy’s missed call.
“Hey, Alexia, you awake?” Andy’s voice in the background was very loud, she should be on her way.
“So where are you? How did you get to Anni’s house?” I endured the pain in my body and got up to find something to wear. When I got home, I was still living in my room and didn’t want to live with Calvin, but Calvin came to sleep over.
“I’ll pick you up, I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.” Andy hung up after he spoke.
Fifteen minutes later I got into Andy’s car and asked curiously, “You bought a new car?”
“I didn’t buy it. The car belonged to a friend who works in entertainment!” Andy grinned. “Hey, Alexia, I haven’t seen you in a couple of days I think, has your skin gotten better? It seems like your life is really nice lately!”
“Really?” I turned around in the mirror. “I don’t think so, do you?”
“Yes, of course you do! Alexia, I’m happy for you!”
I set the mirror down and looked at Andy in wonder, “What are you happy about?”
“I’m happy that you found happiness!” Andy said seriously, “Mr. Smith is so happy to have you!”
“Ha, you need to hurry up and find a man to marry!” I smiled, full of sweetness.
“I’ve tried very hard, but I can’t find a suitable one!” Andy waved helplessly, then started the car.
“By the way, should we bring anything for the visit?” I hadn’t even prepared a gift for them.
“I bought fruit and Anni’s favorite snacks!” Andy said, “Hey, if I’m anything like Anni, I’d rather be alone for life!”
“What’s wrong, tell me!” I was concerned.
“Tell me when you get there!” Andy shrugged, “but you have to be mentally prepared, you’re going to hear super weird stuff.”
“I think I guessed it.” I curled my lips, it had to be Anni’s mother-in-law again.
“You can’t guess, I was shocked when I found out!” Andy grinned.
Andy parked the car downstairs at Anni’s house and the two went upstairs and knocked on the door.
The one who opened the door was a middle-aged woman, not Anni’s mother-in-law, who looked very unfriendly.
“Are you the classmates of Anni? Come in and sit down!” The woman was very enthusiastic.
When I saw Anni, I was very startled. She was lying on the bed with disheveled hair, her face was pale and her eyes were empty.
“Anni.” I held Anni’s hand and couldn’t speak for a while. I wondered how cocky they were in college. Anni was a school belle at first too, why did she become like this when she got married?
“Alexia, are you here?” Anni was very happy to see us, but her voice was a little hoarse, like she had no strength left.
“Anni, how are you?” “Do you want something to eat?” asked Andy.
“I want coffee!” Anni’s eyes lit up and she licked her lips.
“You can’t drink coffee, it’s not good for your baby!” The middle-aged woman had been standing at the door of the bedroom. At that moment she heard Anni talking and quickly stopped.
“Drink juice,” I didn’t want to contradict her, so I could only persuade Anni to drink some juice.
Anni pouted and looked disappointed.
“I’ll squeeze some juice for Anni to drink.” The middle-aged woman left after she spoke.
“Who is she?” I asked Anni in a low voice.
“The aunt of Andrew Davies, she was invited by Andrew Davies to take care of me!” Anni lowered her gaze and said.
“Where is your mother-in-law?” “Why isn’t she coming?”, I asked again.
Anni grinned as she heard the words, “It’s okay if she doesn’t come, I’m sure I’ll be furious if she does!”
“What’s going on here? Andy was only half talking, I was scared to death.” I’m dying to know what happened to Anni.
“What else? She suspects the child in my belly isn’t theirs! They want me to kill the child!” Anni got angry as she said that and her face flushed.
“I was shocked.
“Anni, don’t be mad!” Andy quickly comforted Anni.
“Alexia, Andy, I’m a little scared.” Anni shook her head with a sad look in her eyes.
“What are you scared of?”, I asked.
“I’ve been having nightmares the last few days. I’ve been dreaming about my grandfather. I dreamt that he told me to find someone to go with him.” Anni shook her lips, put her hands on her stomach, and her eyes couldn’t hide panic and fear.
“Anni, don’t think about it, it’s just a dream!” scolded Andy.
Anni smiled mischievously.
“Anni, you can’t be so pessimistic and think of something good!” “I think Anni’s current frame of mind is all wrong,”Andrew Davies? Where is he?”
“He has gone out to study, and it will be three months before he returns.” Anni said nothing, and Andy answered for her.
“What’s his attitude?” I asked again.
“Of course he believed me, but he couldn’t talk his mother into it.” Anni was quiet as she talked about Andrew Davies. She seemed calm as if she was mentioning a stranger. “His mother simply refuses to believe that the child is Andrew’s. Since she wasn’t willing to take care of it, Andrew had to find his aunt!”
“Awesome!” I was truly speechless.
“Annie, I think it’s a son, I want to be a godmother!” Andy was very smart. When she saw Aunt Andrew Davies coming, she winked at me and Annie and quickly changed the subject.
I immediately stopped talking. After all, the aunt and his mother are family. If she heard them, her mother-in-law would definitely know. She would definitely scold Anni again.
At that moment, the aunt came in with a tray of orange juice and smiled politely, “I’m off to look TV Anni, this cup is for you.”
After the aunt left, she said
