-Do you like him?
Brisa asked, curious.
Yanis, with a strange expression, shook his head and explained, -I only met him a few days ago. It’s early to talk about it, isn’t it?
-You’re right. Let’s observe him for now. I think the boy is not simple.
-Huh? -Yanis was a little surprised. He hadn’t expected Brisa’s thoughts to be different from his own. She had thought Gaitan was a complicated man, but how could he be such a good man?
She must have been thinking too much.
But now that she heard that Brisa thought the same as she did, Yanis thought, “Why do we think alike? Is it because we are mother and daughter?”
-Mom, why do you think that?
Brisa sighed, “Don’t blame me for being paranoid. You are my daughter and I want you to be okay. It seems like Gaitan is so perfect and has no flaws. But think about it, why doesn’t such a perfect guy have a girlfriend? Isn’t there anyone who wants to be with him? Is he waiting for someone to show up on a blind date to get married? No, virtually impossible. That’s why I think he would be a complicated man. But we can’t ask him directly, and we expect him to say so himself.
When Brisa finished her sentence, Yanis also considered that she was quite right and thought the same as she did.
-Actually, I’m thinking the same as you. Except, I think he’s normal. And I guess he’s too busy with work.
“It’s never good to talk behind someone’s back.” Yanis thought.
Brisa nodded when she heard her daughter’s words.
-Then it’s possible you’re too busy with work. Maybe you don’t have any friends around, or maybe the ones you do have are probably married. So you have to go on blind dates.
Then they both stopped talking. When they parted, Brisa told Yanis that he didn’t need to insist on their relationship.
*
When Jack returned to the restaurant, he encountered an unfamiliar man, who kept circling around Yanis and talking pleasantly to him.
With just a glance, Jack felt a little strange.
Although he was just a boy, probably because he had inherited Kennedy’s personal aura, Jack was strong and dangerous.
When Gaitan came out, he was a little surprised to see such a pretty boy suddenly appear. He thought he was the son of one of the customers, so he went over to greet him.
-Hello little friend, are you here to eat ramen?
He smiled. And he looked extraordinarily affectionate.
But this look made Jack dislike him even more, especially when he said “little buddy.”
But Jack had always been a polite boy, so he wouldn’t let anyone see the dark side of his heart. So when he smiled softly at him, Jack smiled an innocent smile back.
-Hello, sir.
Gaitan was surprised to find that the boy had a pleasant voice, and that he was so handsome. He might have guessed at first glance that his parents were pretty too. So Gaitan looked around with interest.
When Jack saw him, he asked, “What are you looking for, señor?
Hearing this, Gaitan smiled slightly and replied.
-I’m looking for your parents, are you here with your father or your mother?
Jack blinked his dark eyes.
-With mom.
-Where’s your mother, little girl?
-Sir, what do you want with my mother?
Gaitan was perplexed by this question. At first he thought that the child in front of him would give him directions, then he could take the little one directly there. But he didn’t expect the boy to ask him what he wanted to find his mother for.
So he could only explain, -I want to take you to see your mother.
-Why do you want to do that, I can’t sit here?
Thinking the boy might be a bit stubborn, Gaitan nodded in the end, -Yes, of course. Do you want ramen? I’m buying?
-Really? -Jack cocked his head to one side with a look of innocence. You said you’d invite me, are you the owner of this restaurant?
-Yes.” Gaitan nodded. And seeing how cute he was, he tried to touch Jack’s head, but Jack stepped back and avoided him.
Then Jack thought.
“Ugh! He hasn’t even been Yanis’ boyfriend, and he admits he owns the restaurant?”
But Gaitan didn’t know that Jack was angry about it and kept saying, -What’s up, can I buy you ramen? Shall we go to the second floor?
Jack was about to answer when suddenly he saw a familiar figure and said softly to Gaitan, -My mom is here.
-Your mom’s here? Where is she?
Jack reached out his hand and pointed. Then Gaitan turned around and saw Yanis coming this way. At first Gaitan didn’t understand and turned to ask, “Where’s your mom? I don’t see her.
-There she is, in a yellow sweatshirt.
One moment Gaitan didn’t react, but the next moment he turned pale and his lips trembled almost uncontrollably.
-What, what are you saying? The one wearing a yellow sweatshirt is your mother? You’re not mistaken, kid?
-No, I’m not wrong. -Jack said smiling.
Gaitan was speechless.
Then Jack saw that the man turned white as if he had suffered a great insult, and his lips trembled incessantly.
-Sir, what’s the matter with you? -Jack asked curiously.
Gaitan was furious, but Jack’s delicate face suddenly reminded him that the boy was so beautiful that he could not be Yanis’ son.
Besides, no one had mentioned that he had a child before going on the blind date.
Thinking about this, Gaitan began to calm down.
-He said, “Buddy, did you say it was your mother, or should we call her and ask her?
Jack didn’t answer and thought.
“Too bad. huh?” Jack thought he could get rid of the man without much trouble. “How dare he steal Yanis from me!”
Other than his uncle and Nathan, Jack didn’t think there was any other man worthy of wonderful Yanis.
