The next day, Zain called Alice to invite her to dinner at home. Considering that she herself had not been reunited with her family for so long, Alice accepted the invitation.

The reality was that he still hadn’t fully recovered and a lot of things hadn’t come back to him, plus these memories were very messy, so Kennedy was afraid that she wouldn’t stop asking him, or even care. She was too pregnant to worry about that.
Hearing him say he wanted to surprise her, Alice was a little touched for a moment, but also a little heartbroken. She knew that Kennedy had hidden a lot of pain he felt so as not to worry her. While he pretended nothing was wrong, Alice played along, pretending nothing had happened. She did everything by accompanying him as usual. For her the greatest satisfaction was that no more accidents happened to Kennedy in the recovery process.
Alice became a little sad and hugged Kennedy, pressing her forehead against his and saying tenderly,
