-Or am I that frivolous and untrustworthy to you? Do you think I’d have an affair with another woman while you’re pregnant? -When she didn’t answer, Kennedy raised an eyebrow.
Alice was speechless, taken aback by Kennedy’s tactic.
Suddenly, she remembered that he was already a sharp-tongued man who often left her speechless, and that she was angry with him but couldn’t do anything about it.
So Kennedy was just being what he was.
Alice blinked and her long eyelashes fluttered.
Kennedy almost kissed her.
-Don’t look at me like that and don’t seduce me if you don’t want to sleep with me,” Kennedy said huskily, covering Alice’s eyes at the thought of his words.
The thought of not being able to have sex for seven months until she had her baby had Kennedy on the verge of losing control of her sexuality.
Alice wondered suspiciously, “Seduction? I was seriously rejecting.”
-That was rejection? -thinking about what the man had just said, Alice added.
Kennedy didn’t know what to say.
-You’re the one who can’t control yourself, like before in the office, ah….
Before she could finish, Kennedy kissed Alice on the lips.
Then she stopped moving, afraid of losing control.
Alice’s eyelashes swept against Kennedy’s palm and she felt him sway.
Then Kennedy rose from the bed.
Alice sat up too.
-What are you going to do?
Kennedy walked into the bathroom without looking back.
-Take a shower.
Then he closed the bathroom door.
Alice didn’t stop him.

It was late in the evening and several cars were driving under the long shadows of street lamps.
Nathan followed the navigation and drove the car carefully.
Zain next to him started his nap after getting into the car because he was tired.
The only sound was the sound of the two of them breathing.
Nathan imagined, “We should be hilarious or surprisingly quiet if Yanis could be with us.”
He felt a little unaccustomed to this quietness.
The two arrived at the hotel.
Zain opened his eyes and looked out of the window when the car stopped, and then said to Nathan, “Thank you.
-You are welcome, Mr. Zain, I am doing my job for Mr. Kennedy,” said Nathan.
Zain nodded and got out of the car.
Nathan took Zain’s luggage out of the trunk.
-Thank you very much.
Zain’s straight back reminded Nathan of Yanis’ sad face.
-You seem to be in a bad mood,” said Nathan, who should have left.
Zain paused and looked at Nathan again.
-Why?
Nathan said nothing and looked at him.
-I am always in a bad mood. Be careful when you come back, Zain said calmly.
-If you don’t like Yanis, leave her alone,” Nathan tried to prove to Zain.
Nathan decided that if Zain had the slightest doubt, he would disappear from Yanis’ life.
And he was disappointed.
Because Zain’s expression did not change at all.
-Nathan, you misunderstood me.
-Yanis is my sister’s and my friend, that’s all,” Zain explained.
He denied it completely.
-Do you really have no feelings for her? -Nathan said with narrowed eyes.
After all, Yanis had been pursuing Zain for a long time.
-You are pretending so well that I suspect,” Nathan thought of something and said.
-So what?
-It’s none of your business,” said Zain carelessly.
Nathan was angry, but he could not deny it.
-But I don’t want Yanis to get hurt.
Zain stared at Nathan and seemed to see through him.
-Excuses, right? You don’t need my permission to do whatever you want,” Zain turned to look away and added more coldly. But, listen, I can’t be with her, ever.
-Why? -Nathan was desperate to hear her reasons.
-Why do you like her? -asked Zain.
-For no reason,” Nathan was reassured.
It was the first time he heard Zain say so much, and he even thought Zain was angry.
